I love this car, even if it’s old it’s very nice looking. In 2023 February (or January) I actually went inside and was driven but it was the new model. Now I live in Dubai and I can say, the old models are slightly more seen than new ones tbh. But I don’t see much.
@@lukeguilfoyle2425They sold them in the UAE as cop cars, they also had Statesmans at the time... I think they were badged as Chevy Luminas for the Commodores and Caprices for the Statos. Some were converted to LHD over there, although I think most of them remained RHD. I could be wrong on that. It's a bit hard to see which side the steering wheel is on in that one, but it looks LHD to me. I also know some WK Statesmans were converted to armoured limos for transporting diplomats and other officials and rumour has it they were fitted with 500hp 427 engines from the Z06 Corvettes. But it's super hard to find info on any of those and none of the middle east specced armoured cars ended up in private hands after their government fleet duties, as far as I know. And plenty of people have tried to get their hands on them. Particularly the WK Statesmans. I know that because I have a relative who was a major in the SASR and got ferried around in them when he went to train some of their soldiers. He showed me pics of black Statesmans with the bulletproof glass and lights in the grills and front and rear screens.
@@C.Fecteau-AU-MJ13 wow I never knew so many of our cars made it over there. You'd have to assume any of the armoured cars were probably crushed after they'd reached the end of their use, which is a bummer really..
@@lukeguilfoyle2425 Yeah man... An armoured Stato with a 427 would have been freakin' sweet. Although, I guess I do get why you can't just register an armoured limo for private use. Still, I would have loved to get my hands on one. 😔

I like the Flying Spur. I think it's cool and I'd spend the extra 45 grand on that over the phaeton. I even think that Clarkson is mad to despise it, no offence.
The front is alright to me, but the back looks too much like the first-gen Chrysler 300C and if you ask me, I actually like the first-gen Chrysler 300C front as well.

The forgotten Bentley, even though it was the fastest 4 door car in the world.

I think it still is the fastest 4 door, at least one of the fastest

If this is Persona 4 in the Arab desert, it would be Mohammed Al-Adachi.

I thought only the phaeton had a V10 TDI 🤔
