Hello. I just got mine. At full charge it says only 2 hours remaining even while battery saver is on. It is advertised at 8 hour battery life. Any suggestions?

Yeah, me too. Or at least I want to see the battery and know if the battery is replaceable. This is such a no-name company. I did a little bit of searching and I can't find replacement battery info anywhere. I bought a non-name laptop for cheap many years ago when desktops stilled ruled and I really regretted it. It was totally crashy garbage after almost one year while still under warranty and they replaced the hard drive which totally didn't help. I milked it another year by reinstalling windows once weekly. So a total loss after two years. And with some brand name recognition you can get parts like a battery or a screen or info on how to service.
I can tell you after taking the bottom off the unit that the Ram is upgradeable to 32gb. I popped a DDR-4 SODIMM of the correct type and it works. Also the NVME M.2 storage is also upgradeable. There is only 1 socket for each so you are only gonna be able to run it single channel on the RAM, which of course means a single 32GB stick. You will also need an external NVME enclosure and cloning software or a cloner box to move the data over from the 512GB drive inside, but it does work. My unit is currrently running with 32GB RAM and a 2tb M.2. Also the SD card slot on the side will support large TF cards. Currently have a 1TB running with no problems.
@@OWK000 In so far as the battery, it is a pouch style pack that appears to be glued or taped to the chassis. Assuming you can remove it non-destructively then it should be replaceable.
@@davidb1412 There are a lot of generic pouch style batteries available on the market, so hopefully it is possible. Laptops tend to have stricter limits of use, or controls to prevent overheating or fires, and on older laptops that was built into the battery pack and you could still use those used 18650s for flashlights or other low drain experiments.

Other than the games I showed on the video I didn't try other games. This was not really built for gaming. You might be able to get away with it though....? I would suggest looking into something more powerful though if gaming is something you will do a lot.
for the same price or cheaper you can get same specs laptop off aliexpress but it come with a nvidia 1060 4G gpu and a 1080p ips screen so it much better then this laptop

I can't charge my acemagic laptop, please help me?


I ran into this too. If you look closely at the screen printing on the two type C ports on the laptop one of them has a little plug icon. That is the charging port. The other one is for data only. I figured it out by accident, but that is the way it is configured.

Not on this one fortunately. It is crazy that they had a batch of mini pcs go out with malware though. Not really sure how that would happen. Scary times for sure.
