I love how quickly the cop heard "yes" & didn't wait to hear the rest. He heard the magic word, "YES" but then he finished with "I do, mind". That crushed him. He got all excited that he was going to get that ID & then not. It took 3 officers to tell him(what he already knew) that he wasn't "waving it at anybody". Your caller should've stuck around then & had been your witness.
All public employees and all law enforcement employees should be required to take continuing education classes on local and Constitutional law. Period. Contact your legislature.
