I feel like this..I'm a truck driver.. anything that I do that causes danger to the public causes me to pay a bigger fine than what it costs someone in a car .so when "law enforcement" gets caught doing things that are contrary to the law the same thing should apply the punishment should be more severe they should be professionals subject to harsh consequences just like I am in my profession I'm labeled as a professional driver..I'm gonna let that sink in

I've been to loud concerts and had no problem thinking.
The only noise that I heard was coming from the cops.
I'm a retired chief of police and the hardest thing I had to do was to get my officers to leave their egos at home. This officer should not be wearing the badge. The sad thing is I have had experience with officers that make this guy look like the poster child for law enforcement. However, idiots like this make me embarrassed to say I was an officer. This guy is going to be buying a lot of new cars for citizens because he's a gigantic liability for the city. This guy keeps talking about his investigation but an ID isn't required for any investigation. He should have looked up the ordinance and completed the investigation. Then he could go lick his wounds in the car as he's driving away in shame.
It was pointed out that I needed to edit this. I've actually had to arrest a couple of police officers and one corrections officer. After doing my duty and arresting those officers my city came down on me hard. I ended up taking them to federal court and winning the case for them violating my civil rights. Part of the oath I took states that I will apply the law equally and without bias. I have a daughter and wife and if I were corrupt in my duties how would I be able to look them in the eyes or at myself in the mirror without feeling guilty and ashamed. It is my duty as a husband and father to be an example to my family. I'm not a perfect man but I can strive to be one. There are three things that have made me a better man and they are God and wife and daughter.

Once a police officer loses his Qualified Immunity, you can sue that police officer by going after personal properties, for example, a police officer's house, cars and bank accounts.

A cop on your property conducting a search or seizure, is presumptively acting unreasonably under the 4th Amendment. They are automatically violating the 4th Amendment. Only consent, a warrant or exigency can mitigate that violation. Removal of consent doesn't have to be explicit, it can also be implicit, such as sign telling them they cannot enter.
This a 4th Amendment violation.

I hire police details for work and worked with one who was trained by him and told me about how he intentionally escalated and pushed people's buttons so he could arrest them for disorderly conduct.. of course the trainee was laughing the whole time

Ask if detained. If detained ask for a lawyer immediately. And then shut up. The police are rarely your friends.

There is no "big mystery" here. Illinois is a No Cash Bail state. Process them in, and immediately begin processing them out. Four hours in process tops, and you are back on the streets. City/county/state cops bill for at least 24 hours. If you're processed in just before midnight, and released the next day, they bill for 48 hours. No mystery, only policing for profit. Same old shite.

I was a custodian I went to one, and a bull was passed to upgrade school parks which was estimated 7 parks at 2.5 million per park and it got approved.
No way some rubber and steel should be 2.5 million per park that’s more than building a house.
The problem with everything there was a need to upgrade and no questioned it, but I am sitting there thinking does anyone have a brain at this netting. 7x2.5= 17.5 million gone in taxes. It just didn’t make sense. I eventually moved because the corruption was already their.
