I'm not a Ford guy but that Shelby is absolutely beautiful and sounds so mean!! Love the wide fenders and the stance. This car should be a damn rocket with that kind of power! Can't wait to see this thing in action.

GT 500 Code Red. I love those flared fenders instead of those tacky add on jobs. The exhaust tone, the roll bar, the lowered stance, the black exterior with the red lettering and the red interior trim speaks volumes for bad-ass. Now who gets to get one?

Couldn’t of done it without Ford. 5.2 predator is a monster of an engine getting 1000hp with bolt ons is doable. They’re cracking low 10’s stock. So this 1300 hp has to be easy low 9’s.
That setup with flexible fuels is amazing.

@@CoyoteFTW Ford is 2+ years behind dodge. It took them 5 years to come out with a hellcat beater, and the year before the GT500 came out, there was a Redeye. The TRX has been out for a couple years now and ford couldn’t even give their Raptor more horsepower than the TRX (They’re 2 hp away btw). It even took 3 years for mustangs to compete with a Scat Pack. Dodge even just announced a 9 sec EV while Ford announces the Nite Pony and Whiteout Edition of their current car.

I'm an old guy. I attended a reveal/demo of the 1967 gt 500 in Pittsburgh that year. I was 14. Never did I imagine that the mustang would turn into what it has, especially after the mid 70's stuff that Detroit put out. Wow and ouch. Blue oval baby.

Stangmode, I have a place that makes hood props like that Shelby you like. I have a big coyote for my S550, but he can make the Shelby or whatever you want. If that Shelby is truly 1300 hp, hell yeah Ford, it's about time they stepped their game up. I love the Flex fuel switch that they have on the car and the motech . This car is amazing, but Im sure its going to be priced out of this world
I have to say Carroll Shelby would approve. it's everything he would want on the latest creation that bares his name. I believe he would be quite proud of this code red Shelby Mustang. I would say may he R.I.P., but the truth is I think he would prefer the AWESOME sound of this car gently entering his ears as he rests. Carroll Shelby was the best thing to ever happen to Ford Motor Company. and Ford Motor Company was the best thing to ever happen to Carroll Shelby. and this car is proof of that no doubt.

I like the get in and go setup for this car. It is a pain swapping tunes, running gas to empty (then pumping out the remaining fuel) and switching over to 85. TBH...just sticking with race gas to keep this consistent with less hassle. I guess if you have to ask how much this car is then you can't afford it (me). We can all dream though:).

Just for grins...I grew-up on Woodward, (1953-1977) and saw the best Detroit had to offer as well as "partaking" in the fun as a "Boy street racer" there. The one and only car I can remember, (back in the day), that could possibly match a GT 500 was called "The Silver Bullet" and was a Plymouth Belvedere GTX, (or something like that) and the car is still alive. You've got to check it out either on Google or RUclips. I also think the car's name is what inspired Bob Seger to name his band. Fun stuff!!!

Lol ok Vin diesel. At 1300hp if you miss a gear once your breaking expensive shit... the Auto will shift that thing better then u ever could. Plus there is a clutch less Manuel mode built in to the Auto.

@@121579jester first off. I'm 40 years old and love regular pedal clutch manuals. I own 2. A 2000 mustang GT with a DOHC 4.6 swap from the sohc with a 5Speed manual. And a 2002 Ford Explorer sport 2 downwind a 5 speed. The mustang has dynod at 476hp to the wheels and the clutch had to be fully upgraded to a dual plate ceterdorce racing clutch and a cobra aluminum flywheel. And if u miss gears going all out it's over for it. Its hard to mess it up but very possible for an unskilled shifter driving it. Now take that and times the power by 4. 1200hp. You no longer want a floor clutch shifter because u hit recline so God damn fast the Computer will be more accurate and safer and easier on part wear. Meaning you won't have to go rebuild it ever 2 weekends of fun. This just shows me you have NEVER driven shit over 500 hp
