The amount of people who believe that giving F16 jet fighters to Ukraine would solved their problems is comical. Ukranian pilots are familiar with Russian jet technology, to adapt to different aircraft is not as easy as changing socks.

I am from India and India must always remember the remarkable day December 8, 2021. An Indian highest priority VIP helicopter mission transporting India's most important senior commander Bipin as well as many of India's most highest ranking captains, generals, officers, chiefs, squadron leaders all onboard crashed resulting in the death of all 14 passengers. If India cannot even guarantee their most senior military officer safety during a short and simple 4 minute flight, how can they possibly accomplish anything?

Those air frames are OLD! The newest one was made in 1984. These were F-16's that were sitting in the desert under shrink wrap for the past 24 years and brought back to life. Their system including radar, fire control, etc. are all Gulf War vintage so from late 80s to mid 90s. He's not kidding when he said they're not the best planes.

Do you know what the ejection handles look like in an American fighter plane? Go watch Top Gun again. If he couldn't figure out how to pull those or more likely, didn't have time? It's because he was shot down.
