What are interferons?
Types of interferons.
INF-α, INF-β and INF-γ
Function of interferons.
Role of interferons in antiviral defense.
Hat's off to the effort! I haven't seen anybody explaining immunology concepts so precisely yet as concise as possible. Highly proffessional. Thanks a ton and good luck for future endeavours.
Never figured immunology this easily!!! Thank you soo much ! Please keep doing this!❤
honestly i think this was such an amazing presentation, very simple and yet very understandable... looking forward to watch more of your videos THANKS!!!
I was watching my UON lecture for 1 hour to understand what are the interferons gamma. so, she explained it in 5 minutes will-done. ✅
Glad to know that this lecture is helpful to you. Thanks.
Extremely helpful, can't thank you enough
I'm wondering when this concept was covered during my UG.
Thanks a lot for the effort.
Great video, so that could be one of a reasons why it takes some time for addaptive immunity to kick in because IFN gamma is produced later during viral infection and then acrivate b cells to produce IgG
Thank you !!
Such a short and nice video. Very helpful!!
A series of lecture with to the point explanation , Thank you for this effort ..
Thanks
I can only hope your students appreciate you as much as we do! Thank you!
Best video on Interferon. Thank you so much

Thank you so much 💐💐💐
Thank you so much 💖
Tq very much it is very useful to us
So, amazing i really understand IFN-gamma today😅😅
it is really a very clear explanation
Thanks

What are the references that you explain the information from?
Thanku soo much 💓

Thanks
Thanks excellent
Thanks very nice like this one for post
Thank you for your feedback.
awwwwww love 😍 wd teaching
Thanks
I love your videos! they are among the best ones!
However I have a question: you said that interferons are produced by infected leucocytes (monocytes, macrophages and some lymphocytes), but at the end you said that interferons are produced by every cell of the body and every cell has interferone receptors. Why giving the list of leucocytes at the beginning if all body cells produce it?
She said interferons can be produced by any cell of the body if that particular cell is infected by viruses.
Same question🙋🙋
thanks
if type I interferon does apoptosis in infected cell , how it doesn't do it in uninfected cell ?
why do we need to give interferons through injections if our own body can produce them??
nice work
Thanks
Thnx
Nice video voy intersting Cuba has this medication USAHas to buy is good for the coronavirus
I am curious, what is the difference in terms of structure between INF alpha-2b and INF alpha-2.Another question is that, Is INF alpha-2b secreted from normal human cell?
Best lucture
Question: Can the common cold virus activate interferons to signal NK cells to proliferate and attack? If not pls explain. Many thanks.
Yes, I'm pretty sure nk cells will attack if chemicals are there but I'm no expert
Over the counter alpha interferons is highly recognized globally. Can I get them over the Internet and does ROCHE pharma still manufacture this product ?
Thanks! Nice video. Can i ask you for some sources? Like some internet articles or special books?
you can take reference from the following books:
Kuby Immunology
Primer to immune response, Tak W Mak
Prescott's Microbiology
Thanks
Thank you very much!
👌
Thanks a lot
Thanks
Question?
Gamma interferon,antigen tube 3.67
Gamma interferon,niltube 0.29
Final result positive 3.38 is it good or bad please any suggestions I got good job and I have this one in my body I don’t know they will let me to do this one or not
👌👌👏👏
Best
Question: is there any difference in the way the immune system will function in protecting the bodies short and long term if the invading microbe is inserted directly into the adaptive immune system? As opposed to naturally through ingesting or mucous membranes?
If the pathogen gets to the adaptive immune system first it's highly likely the right B Cell and T Cell will activate and then activate defenses
Tq
Nice
Thanks
nice
Thanks
Thank you for such a clear explanation
Hey there
In my book its given interferon inhibit viral replication by inhibiting viral protein synthesis
But how?
Can u pls pls explain
Yes, it's correct. But it require a long video to explain the process. Will try to make the video tutorial soon. Thanks.
Frank Lectures Okay Ma’am. Thank you so much😄
Interferon triggers production of antiviral proteins in host cell for example some protein kinase that phosphorylate eIF2 and inhibit initiation of translation of viral protein synthesis
Is it your natural voice?
Nice good ,,good lecture very clear
Thank you for your feedback.
So are interferon protiesn essentially antibodies?
No, Interferons are part of the initial mechanism. Antibodies are part of the mechanism after recognition of the enemy.
👍
Can we use this against corona viral
Yes
Whats the role of India doctors,if they are working or no knowledge at all
Ifn gamma is produced by no cells u said how come they are adaptive immunity.?
Sorry nk cells
🥲 voice difficult but thank you
There are three types of interferons
COVID19 brought me here
I was also here because of Covid 19
Same here
Can u send this ppt
Nice....shomu biology irritates a lot
yeah agreed fuck that guy
Anyone here because of Dr Mikovits?
How is this video related to Dr. Mikovits
thank you 😊❤
The voice actually hard to follow
Do not inferred with God's work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
