- Interferons structure and functions - This immunology lecture explains about the chemical properties of interferons and the role of interferons in the immune response to fight against infections. Interferons (IFNs) are a bunch of signaling proteins made and launched through host cells in keeping with the presence of pathogens, comparable to viruses, micro organism, parasites, or tumor cells.
This lecture will tell you the properties and functions of interferon in immune diffence.
Interferons are also known as IFN. Please watch this video lecture throughly to know the details about the interferons.

Thank you for watching the video lecture on interferons
I learned more with you in 8 minutes than in 3 hours with my professor! You are the best!
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
me too, I have no idea why this happens to many of us haha
you are great! thank you. your videos are so useful and helpful in immunological studies. we learn better the mechanisms with you.
All your vids are amazing. Please keep them coming.
Thanks for all your help! :)
Seems your interferons are working faster than required 😂😂😂
The range of subjects of your videos is ridiculous for just one person. How do you know so much? Whenever I have trouble with something in Biology, I go to google and your videos always pop up. Thank you so much
I just make videos and didn't stop just like forest hump. Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
@@shomusbiologyofficial Please keep it up
Thank you very much for your knowledge sharing, and it is big help for me....
the kid has come a long way. more power to him.
Ha ha. It's been over 12 years
amazing way of explanation. now I can answer questions about interferons without reading lengthy and monotonous notes. thank you sir. but I would like to suggest to make video of production of interferon by genetically engineered organisms.
Mostly I clear my concepts by watching your vdos
Thank you
Thank you very much its a great explanation thank you again once more.
Thanks Shomu, great explanation.
your way of explanation is good. thanks
Tqsm sir yr teaching pattern is amazing and different from other which is clear my all doubt I m really very lucky...that I got the opportunity ..
Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
thank you very much.amazing video.
Thanks for this amazing video! :)
Got clarity on the Interferons Sir!
could you do a video about Viral immune evasion strategies?
thank you...very well explained
Thankuuuuu somuch sir. I am preparing for msc 3rd sem immunology exam only from ur videos no any other notes.
+rakesh kumar glad to help you out
Which college are u from.. do u have any other previous sem notes
You are agreat teacher sir. These videos are really very helpful in immunological studies. Please post some more informative videos on Bacterial Metabolism for those students who are keen in learning microbiology.
thank you it is perfect
Very good job. I like the presentation being very clear. Thank you
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
amazing ur explanation is perfect keep going on 😆
thanks brother :) very useful
I have recently become familiar with interferon lambda potentially being very effective in treating coronavirus. Based on your knowledge of interferon lambda, do you think this could be an effective treatment?
Thanks from Brazil !!!🙌
thank you sir.
this is best during exams time.......as you gone in detail....we do need to go to several sites
Glad to hear that you are getting benefit from the videos
make some video of tissue plasminogen activator and factor 8 for us
great explanation sir tqqq
best teacher I have ever seen... Thank u so much...
You're welcome
perfect video
U are best teacher of biology
Well done Shomo! It is very useful.😊😊😊
You're welcome
Thank you very much =D
Keep it up thanks from San Diego, California.
Thank you for appreciating my efforts
Sir... verrrry useful.. thank you so much
Glad to hear that you are getting benefit from the videos
hello sir you make a videos on systemic pathology or not ?
Thanks bro..it really helped me.lots of love and best wishes from pakistan🇵🇰🇵🇰
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
This video was really so helpful.
Thank you
Nicely explained, thanks alot👍😊
You're welcome
thank you sir
Nice you nailed immunology just in 8 min👍🔥
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
Very good Explanation sir!
Thank you
Thank you bro appreciate your efforts
Thank you
Thanks a lot! ❤️❤️
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
sir nice lecture on interferons .but give an lecture on Antivirals
Excellent 😍😍😍
Tq brother ur vdo is very much useful for me ❤️
You're welcome
help to esy to understand
Thanku sir..nice explanation.
Thank you
Can Macrophages or NK recognize complex MHC2-antigen, it looks not in immunological concept. Many texts explain that MHC2-antigen will be recognized by CD4 T cells.
the best video ever
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures. Please subscribe and share
I love how you presented in this video. Thanks
Is interferon act against bacteria?
+shomu's biology, sir you said the IFN are of 3 types but you kept the 3rd option blank. I am bit confused,Are the alpha, beta and gamma are 3 types or alpha-beta are 1 type and gamma is the second so where is the 3rd one ,please help me
The third one is called lambda, but it's function is not very clear yet.
Thank you!!
You're welcome
do you think interferon's are the mechanism responsible for autoimmunity ? i recently started taking high doses of antimicrobial/antiviral/antioxidant compounds and my type 1 diabetes went into remission. is this because i reduced interferon levels?
billy pchajek what prevents the start of cancerous cells better; interferon or zincoxide? .
there have been cases of autoimmunity in some cases of interferon treatment. clearly a better understanding of the reason for this is needed. however the connection between anti inflammatory substances and the reduction of symptoms of autoimmunity are undeniable these substances reduce interferon levels. so whether the interferons are the cause or just exasperate autoimmunity it should be noted and maybe mediating substances should be used in conjunction with some types of interferon therapy.
Great shomu
Thank you
keep it up really very good class
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Plz make a vedio on isolation of interferons cDNA
Thank you
You're welcome
Wowww claps 👏🙌
Amazing
You're welcome
Nice
Amazing👍🏻
Thank you
Not in details....
I need their mechanism of action as well
Thank you '
You're welcome
Master. Nice.
You're welcome
So interferon are a part of innate or adaptive immunity?
Innate immunity
Please are there any way to isolate interferon from our bodies ؟ ؟!
Sorry how does the IFN inhibit viruses?
please keep posting in english like this.
Sure
