Hey, thank you for the video and the research! I bought these tires and installed them myself on my Cub Cadet LTX 1046. Huge difference!! My property has some tough terrain to mow. I use a swisher pull behind mower on an offset to the tractor. I use to spin the rear wheels when it was even slightly wet. No problem now. Front tires dig in and turn like nobody's business.
The first thing I noticed was how responsive the turning was with those tires. And pulling my heavy 10' trailer is easy now, no matter the ground conditions. Happy I was able to help you out!
Thanks! Super helpful links. I wasn't finding much good info for traction upgrades on the internet in general so this video was perfect for me since I have the same Husqvarna and use it the same way.
I have these exact same tires on my cub cadet xt1 and its a huge difference in climbing and uneven terrain. And they do not tear up grass when performing the work, love these tires and HIGHLY recommend them!
Yes, they are great tires for these garden tractors and I have come to love mine. I thought that they would be to aggesive for lawn-grass but they do very well. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for video, I’m was in progress to do the same tire type switch because I use the lawn tractor in much the same way as you! So here we are, a Swedish dude with a classic US-made TORO watching a American dude with his Husqvarna the classic Swedish brand! 😂 Regards from Sweden
Right on Brother! Thanks for the big complement. I liked the irony of tractor brands of our two countries, you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of the more aggressive tires. Thanks for watching!
I put mud tires only on the rear of my John Deere LA 165 and now it hardly turns. It has more traction on hills but when I try to turn it just pushes the tractor straight. My turning circle is three times what it was. Will putting knobby tires on the front to match the back fix this? If not, I need to go back to stock rear tires. This thing is awful to drive. My wife can’t even drive it now.
Might try a set of them on my Troybilt Pony mud mower as I have 33 acres to play on. Planning to use it to drag utility trailers and pull trees and scrub around. I have 11 acres of field with the rest woods and a little swamp. Like your build but your front tires look too small. Do you have to do anything with the belt to handle the bigger tire?
A set of these will make all the difference in the world for you in that kind of terrain! And the front tires work just fine, they are more narrow by 1" but work much better than the stock tires.
I just bought the exact same set of tires for the front of my yardworks. Just picked them up a few days ago. I got them from wal-mart of all places. 31.99 a tire CDN. They are a WANDA snowblower tire.
Cycle Fab Do these rear tires tear up the grass at all? it looks like they have a rounded shoulder than the Carlisle super lug tires that are expensive Im looking on putting these the 20x10-8 tires on my 2016 John Deere X350 has the acell deep 48 in mower deck as i do mow on uneven slopes with the Carlisle Multi Trac C/S i just spin spin spin. and spring time mowing the treads of the tires builds up with grass in the treads. I already replaced the front tires with rib treads so grass don't build up in the treads its on the rear i need looks like the SUNF tires or MaxAuto 20x10-8 hoping these tires grip and won't clog up with grass when i side discharge. i found them cheaper on Ebay much cheaper than the Carlisle super lug and chevron tires. which is better the Carlisle tires or these
My Cub has the same stock size tires you talk about. Since the rear replacement tire is taller than the stock should I drop to a 18.5.? Or does it matter?
I would love to do this to my mower. My terrain is rough and lots of slopes. Also would be happy to raise my mowing height since I don't even use the 4 lowest settings. You mention that it does not make the yard look nice after mowing. Really? How bad? I would think not going so fast would help.
After having used these tires for 1 year now I can safely say that they do not tear up your yard. My yard is St. Augustine and Bermuda and these tires treats those grasses just fine. When I made this video I didn't do much testing on regular lawn turf. BTW, you might want to check out my one year review over these tires, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/dBtRk_E1SE4/видео.html Thanks for watching, a link for these tires to buy them is in the description area of the videos.
No, because I am not an Affiliate with them yet. But if you look down in the comment section of that video you'll see a description of those tires as Amazon lists them. Just goto Amazon and type in the description of the tires as I have them written in the comments section and it should take you right to them.
Your stock rear tires were 20x10-8 and the new rear tires were 20x9.5-8 correct? I have seen some of these more aggressive rear tires quote it is a 20x10 or 9.5-8 and are smaller than the stock tires 20x10-8. Just want to make sure the new tires are actually bigger than the stock rears. Thanks!
I had them on the right way then took them off while making the video and put them on backwards by mistake. I put them back in the right order. Your the first to notice that lol! Thanks for watching!
I need to raise my "CUTTING HEIGHT" to keep my grass cut higher during the hottest times of summer and this seems like the simplest way to raise it by a couple inches......Anyone else do that and how were your results?
It does raise the cut height of the grass, absolutely! Check out the links below in the description section, they will take you to the order page on Amazon.
100% boosting the algorithm on this! I am totally getting these 100%.
You won't be disappointed with them, you have so much more felt torque. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Mud tires on the front should take care of that problem.
@@CycleFab thanks!

Don't care if it tears up my yard, I need traction son
Come to find out they don't tear the yard up. Click on the link below the video to order you some! AWESOME tires!
@@CycleFab already purchased them. They're on the way. Good to know tho.
Thanks you answered all my questions
No problem!

YTH22V46

The front tires are on backwards or did you do that on purpose

Makes sense you wouldn't hike wearing sandals right? Same applies with tires. You don't want turf saver, you want turf grabber
Yep!!
