Ashton Rodgers they’re an established starter away and making sure their offense doesn’t slip this offseason from competing for the playoffs and maybe a WS. They played well in September because they had 4 young players step up and become impact players (Walsh, Barria, Ward and Mayer) and Upton also got hot. If even just 2 of them continue that into next year, they sign a starter, get a little bullpen help, and at least keep their offense where it is, they’ll be a fun team to watch next year. Ohtani was also bad offensively this year, that’s a huge boost if he gets back on track next season. Not to mention Ohtani will be back on the mound, that’s kind of the dark horse. They could be anywhere from under .500 again to really, really, really good if their players play the way they’re capable of.

Yes but as said before, baseball is a team sport. That means that Trout shouldn’t be judged based on how the Angels as a team did. World Series rings shouldn’t mean that one player is better than another. If that’s the case then Miguel Montero is better than Trout cause he won WS in 2016 with cubs. Might I also point out that the Angels in 2020 has one of the highest Average Runs per game? Their pitching is what sinks them and mike trout cannot control that.
