Watercraft Zone is a website about Jet Skis and personal watercraft.
We cover news, reviews, advice on Jet Skis and personal watercraft - on Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki and others - and lifestyle aspects of the sport.
Based in Australia, Watercraft Zone is a website to help buyers make informed decisions when choosing a Jet Ski or personal watercraft.
There are three main brands - Sea-Doo, Yamaha and Kawasaki - and each is well represented across the country.
Each brand of watercraft has its fair share of pros and cons - and they all have a loyal and passionate fan base.
This website aims to outline some of the differences across all three brands, to help buyers - particularly those who are new to the sport - when it comes to choosing a Jet Ski or personal watercraft.
Watercraft tested on this website are provided by Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, as well as dealers who represent those brands. Sometimes we borrow a brand-new model - in standard condition - owned by a member of the Jet Ski community. Regardless of how we source each watercraft, we review them honestly.
Demonstrator models are returned after we’ve tested them, usually after a day or a weekend, although sometimes we test them for extended periods. We also buy our own personal watercraft, to get an insight into their longevity.
We access technical information from trusted experts in the industry, who specialise in a particular brand - or who have worked on all three brands during their time in the sport.
While there is a lot of passion in the PWC community - and each brand has a strong following - we aim to report without fear or favour.
We have done countless hours on Yamaha, Sea-Doo and Kawasaki Jet Skis and found each brand has unique appeal. You can read about some of the pros and cons here.
    watercraftzone...
Suffice to say, there is a lot to like about each brand of personal watercraft - but your choice will depend on your needs.
At last count, there were 37 models across three companies - Sea-Doo, Yamaha and Kawasaki. There is a personal watercraft to suit everyone.
We chose the name Watercraft Zone so we could include all brands - and leave room for new types of personal watercraft.
You can read about the evolution of personal watercraft, its inventor, and the Jet Ski name here.

Good luck in your search for a new Jet Ski or personal watercraft, and please let us know what else you would like to see on the site: info@watercraftzone.com.au.

Try that journey on a Sea doo that is made in Mexico, It would fail within days. You have to love the quality of the Japanese machines. 17000K on a Jet Ski is insane.

Lindsay Warner is a legend guy and his feat is a massive achievement beyond a scale many people can fathom. To cover that distance is one thing, but to do it solo is an entirely different challenge altogether. He’s an inspiration. Thanks for leaving a note.

Each leg of the Jet Ski ride around mainland Australia was as follows: 1 March 2020 to 20 March 2020, Exmouth WA to Esperance WA (20 days), 1 April 2021 to 21 May 2021, Esperance WA to Mallacoota VIC (51 days), 26 June 2021 to 31 August 2021, Mallacoota VIC to Exmouth WA (67 days), including time on the water, rest days and maintenance. The graphic in the video has the correct dates, but incorrectly said leg two was 31 days rather than 51 days.

We've been fortunate to interview Lindsay Warner several times about his amazing travels on a Jet Ski around Australia and (since then) New Zealand.
His stamina, focus, preparation and determination are incredible to watch. Each of his epic adventures take months (sometime up to a year) to plan. Let's see what he does next!

wow. how many hours are on that engine?

      @WatercraftZone  Год назад +1

Last time we checked it was certainly heading towards (or in excess of) 1000 hours. Lindsay Warner did most of the maintenance on the Jet Ski himself, with help from some specialist Jet Ski technicians along the way when they were available. Go to Watercraftzone.com.au for more detailed coverage on his adventures. Thanks for the question.

Y? When you can do it on boat?

    • @WatercraftZone

Because it's a significantly bigger achievement (and challenge) to cover such vast and remote distances on a Jet Ski.
