Thank you for the feedback. This is the longest video we have published so far and it took some time to put together. The footage was just so stunning we didn't want to leave anything on the cutting room floor. We were blessed with the weather, which made the whole experience - and the footage - ever better. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for sharing this. As an owner of this exact model Jet Ski with a significant amount of experience doing endurance rides, this is very appealing. Definitely on my bucket list!
Thanks for the note. I highly recommend the trip but the icebergs are only on certain legs of the journey, so if that's important to you be sure to check with the organiser. It's very expensive to do the trip, and it's expensive off the water, too. But Alaska is a magical place and the people are awesome.
It was honestly awesome. It's not cheap, but it's a great adventure if the budget stretches that far. Just be sure to do some ocean riding first, so you're well prepared. Most of the water was glassed out for us, but expect a few days of rough water and rough weather. That said, if conditions are too severe, tour organisers will pull the pin on that day and travel the next day, to ensure everyone is safe.
Kawasaki Ultra 310LX Jet 🎿 and GP1300 🌊 runner YAMAHA Jet 🎿 very good qualities and speeding places such as Regularly Water front Kuching and Water Miri Sarawak's . Sincerely When Staying at Kuching Sarawak's at 2015 , 2016 and 2017 .
Definitely too cold for a swim. That said, one of our awesome guides had to jump in the water to remove some debris from a jet pump on one of the days. Yeooooow.
holy incredible!!! getting out new explore pro Seadoo will help make for a nice ride like this. Im a seasoned seadoo riding and familiar with riding in choppy waters, with the locations provided in the videos what would you say was the biggest assets of the guides for this trip? I want to understand what I would lose if going without them. With that said, we will have in reach Garmin and Marine VHF radio. As far as fuel, at one of your stops it shows the dodge trucking coming down, I imagine that was set up privately?
Thanks for the note. I would not attempt to do this ride without the guides unless you are proficient at navigation and have super-reliable equipment. It is very easy to get lost in the maze of channels and islands, and there is little to no phone signal for the most part. It can also be difficult to get fuel in some of the more remote areas, so the guides have all this hooked up before they head to the next destination. It's also worth noting we got lucky with weather. It was glassed out for most of our trip. But we were told there is usually a day or two of weather severe enough on each trip to pause the journey. So if you do attempt it, factor in some days off the water - and call ahead for fuel and accomodation. You will also need to secure a spot on the docks, which is an extra expense. Hope this information is helpful.
The Kawasaki Ultra platform was great for that trip (most storage in the class, strongest hull). But I reckon a Sea-Doo Explorer Pro with a decent fuel rack / luggage rack could deliver better fuel economy.
The Kawasaki Jet Skis in this video are the Ultra LX (160hp, non-supercharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder). Honestly speaking, they were plenty fast enough. The Kawasaki Ultra LX was a great craft for this journey and the strong hull was helpful around the icebergs and super-stable in rough chop. I have a new respect for the Kawasaki Ultra hull after spending over a week on it. But the bulky reverse lever is a bummer, and awkward to use. Thankfully the 2023 Kawasaki Ultra LX has a reverse trigger on the handlebars.
Great question. Yes, Kawasaki coined the Jet Ski name - and the generic term for these vessels is Personal Watercraft. However, Jet Ski has become common-use language to describe the category because so few people know what a Personal Watercraft is.
The pricing information from the 2022 event is in the video, but it's best to check on the Dangerous Water Adventures website for the most up to date pricing and packages. There is a range of different tours each season.
Sorry about that. The music actually takes a while to add to the video and costs us money for the copyright to use it. If there was no music and we left the original sound you would hear wind rush, the hand gripping the phone, engine noise, and the yelling of instructions etc.
Absolutely an awesome video!! That is definitely a ride of a life-time....now on the Bucket List. Thanks for sharing!

Great video guys n gals! Huge fan of endurance riding! We are blessed with lots of great distance riding opportunities here in New Zealand
We would love to get over to New Zealand one day. Looks like there are some amazing fishing spots - and amazing scenery at every turn.
Awesome, what an amazing trip.
Having had more time to reflect on the experience, we appreciate how lucky we were with the favourable weather conditions. Thanks for watching.

Do you get to jump off and have a swim at any points? Or is it way too cold even in winter?
Definitely too cold for a swim. That said, one of our awesome guides had to jump in the water to remove some debris from a jet pump on one of the days. Yeooooow.

For that type of Adventures, will you stay on Kawis?

Me and the wife are going to be going in July doing the Juno to juno
You're going to have an epic time. Congratulations.
@@WatercraftZone we just got back and you’re right it was epic would like to do it again
👍👍❤️
Are these ski's mostly Kawasaki 310LX supercharged?

Just wondering why so many people call all PWC a Jet Ski, which is the model made by Kawasaki?
Great question. Yes, Kawasaki coined the Jet Ski name - and the generic term for these vessels is Personal Watercraft. However, Jet Ski has become common-use language to describe the category because so few people know what a Personal Watercraft is.
Same reason sometimes an adjustable wrench is called a crescent wrench or a skid steer is called a Bob Cat. Good company marketing.
PRICE?

This is gnarly! Fuck
Wish you would have left out the annoying music and let us listen to it’s natural sound.
