It was the one and only Trevor Rabin that put Yes back on the world charts with this phenominal number. Trevor has always been a worldly musical genius and I am so proud of how far he has come. I am also priviledged to say that I have played with him. Well done Trevor in all that youv'e achieved.
Rather you like YES, or this particular piece of music, (and I do), you can hardly just call it a song, it's one of the most outstanding complex performances of commercial music I ever heard. I was surprised it was that extremely good. How in the world they did all those complex little pieces, with note-for-note precision. It's even better than the record. I love their power, energy, complexity, accuracy. Outstanding. What the heck! And an uniquely talented vocalist. I used to dream of being that good. Maybe I should allow myself to continue to have that dream.
Nah. Other songs on 90125 were better. This is really the only song on that album that I don't care for. Changes and It Can Happen are both much better songs. Just my opinion.
it was a flicker of hope in a darkened world, too ful of reagans, breshnevs and expansive cruise missiles. were they said "no" to understanding, Yes said "yes" to the pain of lonely hearts in this world. thanks a lot...
The talent, the effort to be the best. Nothing in the garbage played today can approach this genius. Sorry kid, the people in charge are insulting you everyday with the drivel they promote
When Rabin met Chris Squire and Alan White, barely existed Yes, with apparent disappearance of the band in 1981.Então Rabin, Squire and White began collaborating with the Cinema name in early 1982. After the Jon Anderson coming that joined at the end at the end of recording 90125, even contributing vocals and the lyrics mostly been written. With four former members of Yes. What the producer and the record company wished to revive the name Yes, despite the objection of Rabin.
Yes is a very awesome band owner of a lonely heart is my most favorite song in the hole wide world I can’t go without it i have loved it since it came out in 1983 and It’s now 2022 and I still love it and I will always love it I’m heavily addicted to it go yes owner of a lonely heart kicks ass oh yeah 😘
This was their last great album. LOVE "THE MORE WE LIVE,LET GO" ( it unfortunately,has NEVER been performed live).Differences aside...this was a magical album/tour. NOW....................PLEASE!
Paul Maunsell - I was 2 then. I was 12 when 90125 was released, which got me heavily into Yes's catalog thereafter. Goes to show the significance of this record. I still have the record and I play it about two or three times a year. Mind you, when it does come out it gets multiple focused listenings.
"is the music in the beginning from a real song?" Yes it is. Its from Does it really happen, as performed by Rabin and Squire WITHOUT Anderson ((Yes West I think) Its on YesYears
I still don't understand why YES fired Jon Anderson and substitute hin for the 'Intruder' Jon Davidson !!!! It is like firing Mick Jagger from The Rolling Stones c'mon guys what the hell is going on !!!
He got sick but the band wanted to continue playing so they got Benoit David, which got fired and now they have Jon Davison. As for why they don't want Jon A to come back now that he's better I'm guessing it's to avoid being rude to Jon D "hey uh so yeah now than Jon Anderson is well we're gonna fire you just because the fans prefer him"... Don't you think that'd be a bit rude? Plus I think Jon A wouldn't like to be a part of the heavy touring they're currently doing. The reason they fired Benoit David was because he got sick too. And to be honest I don't think Jon D is that bad. He seems to enjoy touring with the old guys...
I love this iteration of Yes. I don't give a rip if Yes purists don't like it. Trevor Rabin adds a dimension they never had with Steve Howe. And Owner of a Lonely Heart is an amazing song.

Such a talent
My countryman. Seen him play many times. Biggest band ever in South Africa. Rabbit
A genius, and a gentleman.
Love Trevor and his music.
Yes, Trevor WAS a huge add to the band........but, You can NOT discount the rest of this incredibly talented ensamble!
To have Trevor with the others is a moment that shows us a future that will be so amazing I cant even say.
Guy has such a good lead vocal voice, love it.

Just love Rick's style key solo at the end. Just fits perfectly and adds the final climax
RIP Chris Squire........
Largactyl Kid, he was the greatest in my book. I absolutely hate that he’s gone.
I saw the 90125 tour in Memphis at the amphitheater. It was great! I have seen them perform three times. Each time they were excellent.
10 times starting with tormato
90125 tour in Memphis was at the Mid-South Coliseum (not the much smaller amphitheatre) 4/24/84 - my 8th YES gig.
absolutely should be a hall of fame number...
this song was a fucking revolution!
still is...a revolution...one of the greatest songs ever in Rock...
Nah. Other songs on 90125 were better. This is really the only song on that album that I don't care for. Changes and It Can Happen are both much better songs. Just my opinion.
jrock2264 although for a simple sounding pop top 40 song this is ingenious...no?
there should be more..'' pop '' songs like this...lol
it was a flicker of hope in a darkened world, too ful of reagans, breshnevs and expansive cruise missiles. were they said "no" to understanding, Yes said "yes" to the pain of lonely hearts in this world. thanks a lot...
Sad to see that these guys were not selected for the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame.........they belong there........simply one of the best groups
RobertBare It only took about 2 years later and now they are along with Journey and couple of others
Should be in hall of fame!
Got your wish!!!
Jeepster.... they finally made it the Hall of Fame!!!! about time!
Jeepster who cares really, bands themselves are joking about it
Real woombath Mostly the bands that are not in it I suppose

Trevor Rabin is over all a great musician and a guitar tecnically original and inspirated. No doubt Yes have been ...Trevor Rabin
Trevor is a killer guitarist
The talent, the effort to be the best. Nothing in the garbage played today can approach this genius. Sorry kid, the people in charge are insulting you everyday with the drivel they promote

MerkinMuffly I would say “what would you know about ‘their best’’, but you’re a Celtics fan so carry on. Keep up the great video postings!
Super Band der
GLÓRIA À DEUS ALÉM DE TODO CORAÇÃO YES
This one has the best audio quality of all the live versions that are uploaded (IMHO).
For the low quality of the upload, It is dam amazing!
another good old classic
didn't know Rick Flair played keyboards for YES.
buzzy jr WHOOOO!!!
Yes & Rick Wakeman !!... its fantastic !!...
Not one of their better live performances of this song but still pretty good. I saw them live in Vancouver in 1984 and they nailed this song then!
This song was not going to be on the album, then the producer heard it and insisted it be included!
sorry to hear of Chris passing, I started to listen to Yes when I was 16 1972

I always wonder what it was that made Anderson so different ,Through the internet i found out he is from Malta ..that makes so much sense
Bullshit. Steve doesn't hate Jon, and Howe doesn't own the Yes brand. So he couldn't send away Anderson.
Thank you for sharing.... this is a classic!
Yes!
What a tight band damn
wowwwwww
Prefect
Дальше стало лучше намного. 90125 как отправная точка следюющей ступени рока сверх музыки.
never seen Bruford so amused
Great song. Strange outfit..
still GOOD...
~~~
So the stoooory goes.
So cool at 1:11
Remember the window pane days in the 70s
I love this iteration of Yes. I don't give a rip if Yes purists don't like it. Trevor Rabin adds a dimension they never had with Steve Howe. And Owner of a Lonely Heart is an amazing song.
*warm smiley face*
Does anybody know where i could find the intro "solo" part as a tab/vid? That is a great sound!
The name of the track is "Make it Easy" written by Trevor Rabin and is available on the 90125 Bonus Tracks.
This mix is different then the other one's i have heard.
