Happy Birthday Marie! We got to Live it with them! Amazing Right? Happy Birthday late by 6 mths. But mine is almost here, Dec. 5. LOL the Celebration has begun early! I do Love this Amazing Band! Chow🫶🏼❣️✅
Saw Yes live in 1972. Wakeman was on his first stint with the band. As a student of piano, I was thunderstruck at the sounds he produced. Anderson and Howe were in top form, and Squire's work was also impeccable. They were ALL virtuosos. Oh, and there was a laser show going the entire time. Blew my 17 year-old mind.
Wow, that's awesome Rachel. I only caught them once in '79. You could call it their 'lame' period. Grateful to have the videos to enjoy. Blessings (Yes-sings?😉) to you and yours. Outta sight! 😎
I saw Yes in February '72 on their Fragile tour. Bill Bruford was the drummer, who would leave the band several months later. Stood in the first row, about two feet from the stage, in front of Chris Squire. The warm- up band was the J Geils band😀
Back in the day, that's the 70's, when I was young and foolish in Newcastle, Australia I used to lay in the dark listening to Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales From the Topographic Oceans on my inexpensive record player... And then got older and fell into the disco night club era. Dancing around like a fool as you do. Then one late afternoon in '83 I was sitting in a cocktail bar on the Fulham Road in London (it was winter by then and the sun was setting), this song blasted out of the speakers. I was captivated again by the sounds of Yes and went and bought the the album 90125 the next day... Just my little story, there you go!
To hear it when it first came out at 23 years old was magical. Elements of the old Yes but with the vibrancy added through the advent of electronic technology (Fairlight sampling stabs, synth guitar, Linn drums, high class production by Trevor Horn etc). Incidentally, is that Bill Bruford on stage relegated to playing the maracas ?
I was there. And I had a wireless microphone with me and I dialed into the same channel and started making hilarious announcements. Like they opened the show to me saying over the PA... "By accordance to federal law the feature musical act must inform you that they are registered sex offenders". The crown went nuts after I said that. It was fantastic.
it was a great tour, before the concert began John came thru a split in a curtain and walked directly into me on his way to the stage, little fellow, I did not spill either beer in my hands😅
Jethro Tull Houston Texas circa 1970 and the backup band was some unheard of group called Yes. Lucky me. I never missed a Yes tour for the next 14 years.
I've been listening to this band since 1970,i their music gives me up lifting good feelings, I saw them at Madison Square Garden in NYC what a great show and night that was. I never get tired of hearing the music
Some hits (like this one) are timeless classics, true music lovers appreciate these 80's bands because they have the passion to keep rockin until the wheels fall off. These videos won't ever get old IMO

Yeah I've seen them do this song live before, but never with the epic intro and crazy keyboard solo at the end. This is a really cool version of the song.
I was blessed to have seen this show twice when they toured. Once at Madison Square Garden and the other at Jones Beach. My dear sister, may she RIP, worked at Variety Magazine and we had amazing seats. Unforgettable.
the song struck a nerve, as i was wathing nightrider, with the hoff , it was the start of the episode, i have saved it now to my library. it still sounds fanstatic.
My favorite band that never got all the credit they deserved. Front row with my brother in law and Jon Anderson took pictures of us! Incredible night The Pavillion Woodlands TX
that bass line is timeless- passionate smoky vocals from the lead singer you can REALLY hear the individual musicians and a perfect balance- I love how the song expands with the universal emotion and intensifies
TREVOR RABIN !!! OH YES BABY !! GORGEOUS!!! One of the best songs ever!! OH YES !! With luv from Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 stay safe everyone!! YES is absolutely a brilliant band !! ❤️❤️🎶📀 pure gold luv LA 2022
Wakeman stole the show there at the end of the song! Not easy to do with the gobs of talent on that stage. This song has been blowing minds for decades!!! YeS!!
I don't think we will ever see music like this again. Bands with Bass, keyboards, drums, electric guitar, and powerful vocals. This died somewhere in the 90s. Music today is so boring. Glad to have grown up during the time of the 70s and 80s!
I remember I was about 8 to 10 yra old ( now 55) . And try to sing it in English ( I speak spanish). And My older brother found the lyrics on the news paper. Cut it out, and gave it to me. I was very happy. It was like a birthday present to me. Then I sing it better in English 😂❤😮
To the members of Yes - your body of work is expansive and stands very well on its own - but more telling is to look at the list of musicians who were inspired by you, and are true offspring of your creativity and are deeply influenced by the wake of your musical journey. Without you there to have churned the waters, Rush would have been lessened to some degree...possibly even Tool, just to name a couple. So it's not just one legacy, but a whole genre of music that was deeply affected. Thank you for the whole of your careers - the joys, bitterness, sweat and tears - to inspire and be inspired. And hoping that it carries to generations to come.
Everyone got into the spirit of things on this tour with good grace and the spirit in which it was intended….all except old moody pants Steve Howe who isn’t even on stage here. Wakeman just takes this song off to the stratosphere at the end. Probably my favourite version of this song by a LONG WAY!
At 70 years old I love watching all these "oldies". Takes me back to my youth and the greatest bands and music ever.
Happy Birthday Marie! We got to Live it with them! Amazing Right? Happy Birthday late by 6 mths. But mine is almost here, Dec. 5. LOL the Celebration has begun early! I do Love this Amazing Band! Chow🫶🏼❣️✅
Ps…..I’ll be 69! Whoop whoop 🙌
Me Also 😊
I just turned 71. This stuff cures My bradycardia... smiles...
Yaass! I agree! I’m 78 and I just love to watch these wonderful videos.

To me Yes ended with Going For The One. The later attempts were not bad but nearly not as mind-blowing as their earlier albums.
I saw them about the same time in Nashville. Strangely, their backup band, the Eagles, were better.
@@jamwest3146 Opening band?

The 80s were a great time to live!
One of the greatest albums made by anybody. All killer no filler

@@abrarahmed1888 Looks like Bill on the second electronic drum kit...
@@abrarahmed1888 P.S. I had just turned 28 at the time of it's release btw...
Classic rock perfection from Yes !!! This song came out in 1983 and it still rocks !!!
we were young and immortal at the time, unforgettable...

So grateful to be able to watch these classic masterpieces.
Yes indeed
…because today's music is worthless compared to the good old days. Cheers!

You know you're great when you can duplicate that original sound, feel, and energy when playing it live!!

I’m 64 and grew up listening to these guys. Kegger in the Midwestern woods jamming to roundabout
Wow these guys are good! I think they'll make it big some day. 😇
😆
Ya reckon?😉
Yes... Never disappoints!!!! This version is hypnotizing
One of the greatest bands ever! Musicians that are Masters of Music.
Rick Wakeman !!! The Virtuoso of Keyboard Rock !
Great version. Wakeman at the end going off is awesome!
I just got goosebumps down my neck listening to this masterpiece!
Masterpiece song, with a GREAT Rick Wakeman keyboard solo in the ending!
Yeah I've seen them do this song live before, but never with the epic intro and crazy keyboard solo at the end. This is a really cool version of the song.
This and Roundabout are their diamonds.❤😊. The keyboard is about to spontaneously combust! Bravo! And gorgeous Trevor knocked it out of park.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Been a Yes fan since i first heard the first “Yes” album. Still listening today.
I was blessed to have seen this show twice when they toured. Once at Madison Square Garden and the other at Jones Beach. My dear sister, may she RIP, worked at Variety Magazine and we had amazing seats. Unforgettable.
Classic YES: relief from the stress and strain of daily life and boring music videos; also available without a prescription or a subscription. 😎
Absolutely Love These Haven't Listened To Yes Live Or Normally In At Least 5 Odd Years.
This is probably one of my best memories of the 80's. Such a great song., Vic.
the song struck a nerve, as i was wathing nightrider, with the hoff , it was the start of the episode, i have saved it now to my library. it still sounds fanstatic.
One of the best concerts Ive seen back in the early days 80s
Dont playback, Dont autotune, only music in live, wonderfull.
Is it no wonder he's writing the musical scores for top box office movies, now! Genius.
Saw this tour in the round in NJ! Unforgettable evening!!!
Rest in peace Alan White and Chris Squire
Crap! I didn’t know about Alan White until now!
Du pur génie.Avec ce chef-d'œuvre.. Comment ne peut on pas aimer YES.Magnifique
Sounds like a record. High class musicianship.
Really great tour, I thought I would miss Steve on guitar but Trevor was brilliant!
Skilled dude also handsome 😂
My favorite band that never got all the credit they deserved. Front row with my brother in law and Jon Anderson took pictures of us! Incredible night The Pavillion Woodlands TX
I was there that night! Spacing out on the lawn in back, staring at the sky as they played "Awaken". Great memories.
What an Amazing Performance
This was really Trevor, Chris, and Alan's album, nice of them to invite the rest along.... :D
that bass line is timeless- passionate smoky vocals from the lead singer you can REALLY hear the individual musicians and a perfect balance- I love how the song expands with the universal emotion and intensifies
Trevor!!! What an awesome guitarist
I remember seeing them early 70's in Edinburgh all because I loved the song "Sweetness". It was one of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to ❤
Essa foi sem dúvida nenhuma a melhor apresentação ao vivo de "Owner of a lonely Heart ."de todos os tempos..Viva YES 👏🏻👏🏻🙌 Sensacional 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
TREVOR RABIN !!! OH YES

It’s the leather pants that do it for me:)
Wakeman stole the show there at the end of the song! Not easy to do with the gobs of talent on that stage. This song has been blowing minds for decades!!! YeS!!
Incredible solo by Wakeman! But, of course, most of his solos are.
Agreed. But they all know that, and are way past the ego trips ..Every member knows his position and how beautiful the music is, because of that..
Jon Anderson sounds incredible live. Such a great voice.
Bes concert I've ever seen. I saw it in Dayton, Ohio. The best of every Yes. Union.
Saw this tour - it was great fun - among the highlights was Chris Squire doing an amazing bass solo - RIP Chris Squire - Alan White - Peter Banks ..
Im buggin' out seeing Bruford on Percussion. This is Gold.
Damn !
Yes proved once again why they were the best band on Earth.
Never saw yes live but wore their albums out in my college days. Those were the days.
I don't think we will ever see music like this again. Bands with Bass, keyboards, drums, electric guitar, and powerful vocals. This died somewhere in the 90s. Music today is so boring. Glad to have grown up during the time of the 70s and 80s!
That was smokin! Man, they're having so much fkn fun!😎
My bro & I saw this tour in Vancouver. Yes in concert is the 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD. INCREDIBLY AWESOME!!!
Não cabe nem comentar. Só tirar o chapéu. Os caras são monstros..
Damn, this performance had such a heavy groove. Brilliant.
Bill Bruford’s percussion is the key to all of this.
I wasn't sure if that was him or not. I didn't know he came back to do live percussion with them in the 80's.
my favorite yes song together with changes.
Rock on!
sounds like the snare is going to explode! I love it!
Great live band, saw them 3 times in 73 in the round. Brilliant
Brah they never played in the round till 78’ and thereafter.
Talent personified and the lyric of a generation!!
Not a Yes fan , but this is awesome.
I was at Londons Wembley arena show of this union tour in 91 absolutely fantastic!
Great video display of Rock Hall of Famers. Thanks for sharing
Incredible still, thank you.
Holy shit that ending! that was crazy!
I really like the fact that Trevor was born with prog in his DNA. Raised in Johannesburg South Africa. Who da Thunk.
I had to give everybody a thumbs up! We all love yes! Yes we do!
Simply Amazing!!!
YES, the Best Progressive Rock Band ever! Masterpiece!
Love this Song!!!❤
Hallen stadion - Zurich !!! ...
Year - i don't remember !? ...
But one one of greatest performans i ever see- LIVE !!!
このような天才バンドに出会えた事を感謝します🎉
The keyboard work at the end is the goods !
Saw them in 76 with Gentle Giant, Gary Wright, Peter Frampton in San Diego what a Fuck’N great show!!!!

~~~Happy 68th Birthday Trevor Rabin~~~
Einfach Spitze,wunderbar,überragend,einmalig..,mehr geht nicht.
wow I would have LOVED to be at this show, amazing
Such a magnificent combination of talent and music. One of the greatest songs of all time.
Jon Anderson has one of (if not the) best voices in Rock. Always funny to see him up on his box, though 🙂
Seems so effortless...epic 👍
I’m out of breath just watching it!
The Progressive Bands took a break from 20 minute compositions and made MTV compatable songs ...the results were awesome.
I prefer the earlier prog era myself, but I was happy to see them achieve commercial success.
Concert in Boston back in the day, great band.
This is so wonderful it would have to be one of my Desert Island Discs .............if I ever got there!
Pra mim..a melhor formação do Yes é essa daí..sem dúvida nenhuma 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great Band
Wow! This band sounds amazing, it’s like almost a playback!
I love how Bill Bruford sounds like he is playing "Thela Hun Ginjeet" at the end of the song.
ohh. They are so tight. It's almost identical to hearing the studio version!😆👌
Those 80’s rock star outfits!
Best 'hair band' ever
That's an insult, just another insane Prog Rock band.
Well their hair was certainly something in the 80s. But they're no hair band.
Dead nuts on target, hek!😎😎
"hair band"... smh
lol do you know what a "hair band "is?
Poison or Motley Crue may argue with that lol
This song occupied a lot of space in my head for a long time. So new and unexpected a direction.
Bad Ass Live Performance 🎭
Classic stuff, bring back so good memories from the 1980s.
1984'- 2024 forever i listened world wide class music 🥂😎✌️
Woo, rousing rendition, ladz!
