When I was 10, and went to a Christian school, my 5th grade teacher picked out different Bible verses for every child in the class that she felt were special to that particular child. She gave me Proverbs 3:5,6, and I’ve held onto those verses as being especially for me. Over the last 40 plus years since then, those verses have mysteriously popped up in places that let me know that God is still with me, in very special ways. :) God bless everyone reading this. :) ✝️
I am not LDS, Baptist in fact. But David's music crosses denomination lines and reaches to the hearts of all those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior. I am sort of rediscovering David. I have followed his career off and on since Idol. Thanks to the beauty of RUclips his Easter video I Know He Lives was suggested and I am binging on years of videos I missed but also on that one song! Approaching 10x now!

Sometimes David reminds me of the late great Gregory Lemarchal, a French singer who died two weeks shy of his 24th birthday - he had a life-long illness of the pancreas that usually prevents the person from living past 20 and never 30 - but what a voice of an angel he had! David has that same soulfulness - just a beautiful soul and his voice just makes me ache with so many different emotions. I have a Buddhist practice and I always rest in calm and rest in not knowing. David helps me to do so with his music! (:
