I'm single, never married, but love the teachings on marriage by Pastor Jimmy and Dave & Ashley Willis, so when that day finally come for me to be married, I will incorporate these wonderful teachings in my marriage.
@Thomas Anderson Pastor Jimmy Evans has taught on "submission" before and I agree with it because of what the bible says but he also taught on how men are to love their wives, die for their wives, if need be, be understanding towards them, not be bitter towards them, protect them, provide for them as well. When husbands do that, then it's easier for a wife to "submit." Submission does not mean you treat a woman like a door mat.
Pastor Jimmy & Karen Evans ministry on marriage is an absolute need for couples! If only I had known about it sooner, it would’ve saved us a lot of heartache and struggle! So grateful to have it now as we heal & rebuild.
Really love the conversation about not putting kids first. We’re not at that point yet in our marriage but we’ve talked extensively about how we would protect our marriage should that be God’s plan for us. ❤️
I was just looking at this book and have also just started listening to the podcast. I also just thought I wonder what Dave and Ashly thought of this book. Now I know and I fully believe God has a hand in this.

Hi. I am so glad of your podcast. I love Jimmy and Karen Evans. They are the giants in my life I want to emulate. Question...I follow what Jimmy and Karen preaches to love my wife. I see progress...or maybe it’s me. I started to watch a show I normally skip (Private Practice). She skips the sex scene as if our daughter is in the room. Your thought pls.
