I absolutely love this podcast, I look forward to every episode. It has helped greatly mature me as a wife and the golden nuggets in this podcast has definitely drawn me and my husband closer together, I am now very intentional about having a very naked marriage where we can talk about anything because that is God's design and will for marriage.
Thank you Dave and Ashley for staying strong and trusting God in the storms of your marriage for they have produced this ministry ❤❤❤🔥.

Thank you Dave and Ashley for this particular episode. I am going thru this as I type this, I am the who is having trouble trusting my wife although she has never betrayed me.
It stems from a past relationship that i thought I had moved past.
I will listen to this daily until I can change my ways and move past what still haunts me.
Thank you, and keep up the great work!

I’m so glad I came back to this video. Because I did make the mistake of accusing my spouse for things they did not do. My trust issues broke their trust in me. And when I realized it was disrespectful I thought I ended my marriage. Glory to God that He didn’t harden my husbands heart for my actions. And he is being open to me. And now it’s my job to work on my blind spots. And continue to serve my spouse and trust him bc trusting him means trusting God.

What happens when the trust has been totally betrayed and the person, don't see a need for counseling, won't allow phone access, and is mishandling marriage???? I listened to he sure what I felt needed to be done is what you advised...thanks for being real and sharing....

It's up to the untrustworthy spouse to rebuild trust, not the one that was betrayed.

My wife thinks that women like me and I shouldn't smile because she feels it sends out the wrong message to the other women. I know I don't want these women but she feels like i do because i am naturally friendly

So how do you deal with distrust issues that were from your father and other past relationships but all those red flags arose with a current relationship. You gave this person the benefit of the doubt only to find out that your instincts were correct and now you married them. They seem to want to change but how do you get past the fear , the betrayal , lies and the secrecy when you see things that continuously look suspicious? Or when more hurtful things arise from the past that this person didn't volunteer. It makes it hard to move on when things keep resurfacing and I can no longer trust my instincts of what is real and what is not. Confronting this person and asking questions on situations that seem suspicious doesn't help because they deny any wrongdoing and get upset that you are bringing it up. However when you brought things up in the past the same reaction was given just to find out that you were right all along and they weren't being honest.

Thank you. Do you have any advice for someone living with a person who grew up in a cult and after 15 years of marriage still projects onto me all the abuse from the past? I think Dave is right when he says "some people think trust is a wrong idea." I truly cannot do any more of this. As a mature Christian I thought I could cope but I am sick of the lies.

Good for those who are trust worthy. But did not spend a lot of time addressing how to rebuild trust and be accountable when trust is broken over and over by lying and placating.

What do we do when EVERYONE you have given trust to BREAKS IT? Even a godly man, so he claimed, proposed to me, put a ring on my finger, made empty promises, Jus to break my trust YET again after all I told him about everyone breaking and betraying my trust. I am learning even a “godly” man will lie then blame you for his deceitfulness calling you jealous and wounded. HE NEVER LISTENED TO MY HEART AND HE NEVER INTENDED TO FOLLOW HIS PROMISE. God def saved me from this one! Although I sound bitter I have so much peace about it all I just don’t know if I can ever trust any man ever again. This one was “set apart” from all the others jus to see red flags that he was NOT set apart from all the others. When he said I was wounded HE REFUSED TO SEE IT WAS HIS LIE AND REFUSAL TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY that WOUNDED ME YET AGAIN.

Oh yes!! I made my now husband pay for my father's sin as well as old boyfriends. He has broken the mold on what I thought was "normal" thank God! He is a great man! We make the good guys pay for all the sins of bad male examples in our lives.

TRUST is like a crystal glass that once it's broken its hard to put the pieces back together and when you try to fix them, you might get puncture and get hurt. The crystal glass would never be the same no matter what, that is why it's important to apply wisdom when dealing with our partners and i believe smartness is essential in any relationship. I got help from (Cybertech-tracker) as he helped cloned my cheating husband’s phone and I got access to all his phone Text messages, Imessages, Facebook, Instagram, Whats-app, Skype, Kik, Twitter, Snap-chat, Email and social media chats without touching his phone. My husband was a cheating Narcissist but I'm glad to uncover his deceits, secrets and Infidelity. All I did was share his phone number with (cybertech-tracker) and i was able to read his recent and deleted messages from my phone without laying my hands on his phone and he has no idea his phone has been cloned. I was hurt when i saw a picture of my husband and his lover, i felt so bad about infidelity. I’m here in Australia and was able to access his phone while he was away cheating in the UK and saw all the proofs i needed for a divorce and even terrible things they had planned . He also does hacking of account or any other type of hacking and retrieval of data. His services are trusted and guaranteed and also affordable. Contact this great hacker via Gmail (cybertechtracker) or text and speak to him directly on his phone and Whats-app : +1 (202) 697-7171. Thank me, later...#Stay-safe & Stay-home
