Welcome to Transylvania! Who wants to visit 🧛♂️🏰?
How u get visa n wich visa do u applied ? For romania
Is that possibility to get job on tourist visa ?
Kürtöskalács as Cozonac is actually hungarian traditional food.
Is called România, countless wars happened for this union, if you visit Britagne in France I'm sure you'll write "Welcome to France"
"Ograda" = house yard, usualy fenced.
So you totally missed the most beautiful castle in Romania (Peles Castle)? Nice.
Just a thing to add: we, Romanians, tend to disagree with the ”sadist” part of Vlad the Impaler, because we see him as our national hero. He used impalement as a standard punishment for theft, treason, corruption and such crimes and a Romanian expression survives to this day. ”Unde ești tu, Țepeș, Doamne!” (Where are You, Impaler, lord!), used when we refer mostly to corrupt politicians. He also used psychological warfare to the max and using it, he managed to divert the Ottoman armies led by Mehmed II (the conqueror of Constantinople himself). The reason of his bad reputation in the West is that he attacked the Saxon merchants in Brașov and massacred them as punishment, because they would not respect the fair trade policy between countries that they had agreed on. The Saxons made use of the newest invention: the printing press and so, propaganda with exaggerations about the saviour of Eastern Europe from the Ottomans spread throughout the West. So, Vlad the Impaler was unjustly the subject of one of the first pamphlet campaigns in the world.
thanks for the history lesson! I did enjoy that :)
And his brother had a special relationship with Mehmed 😳
Also he learned that from the Ottomans while growing up. They killed political rivals that way.
No, that's not true. People who consider him a hero are nationalists. Me and almost all people I know we understand that Tepes was a disgusting murderer.

Romania is a very underrated location to visit - it is one of the most beautiful and friendly countries in Europe
Absolutely! And the nature is stunning! Did you have a chance to make it to the mountains?
You have no idea how happy makes me seeing Romania thriving & enjoying their enterprenual spirit and freedom! When I visited 40 years ago it was beat up by communism, poor, full of starving and begging people, not a happy place. Thank you for visiting today!
It's fantastic, isn’t it? It makes us happy too.. they deserve a lot. Very very special place. Can’t imagine how it looked like 40 years ago!

Appreciate the comment. Some see only how "behind" Romania is, but don't know the starting point...
I will be in Romania in a few weeks!! First time. Very excited.
Enjoy!!
Amazing country, a true hidden gem. Dunno why western media keeps bashing it.
🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♂️
In 2020 Romania was less visited place in Europe.. Romania doesn't know haw to promote herself.
@@danielagheorghe262 Sad but true
Romania is in the top 5 most beautiful countries in Europe but Romanians don't seem to want to promote themselves to be flooded with tourists, they are a mysterious people. I hope they will soon legalize marijuana and prostitution brothels like in Amsterdam or Germany, then I would literally move there. I love Romania.
@@LionelLando - you better stay away from Romania if those 2 are your values. We already have our own...your kind.

Who else is watching this with a booked trip to Romania? 🤩🤟🏼➡️
Thank you for visiting my country! You're so amazing! Such a healthy and happy family. I apreciate the fact that all you said about Romania were nice words. Romania is in fact a beatiful country, but we, romanians, usually have a bad opinion about each other or of our country. That should be a lesson for us. Still, maybe next time you would visit Trans-Fagaras highway. Many foreigners say about it that it is the most beautiful trans-mountain road in Europe, and why not, go to Maramures county, that is, I would say, the most traditional place in Romania. You would love to see the traditional dances that take place on Christmas or new years eve.
Your country is beautiful! We loved Maramures and went to Transfagarasan as well😍🤗
My home town.. awwwww. Miss it so much. Glad u guys liked it and yeah the FOOD is the best ever. All the best in your travels.

Beautiful presentation. Good choice renting from Sixth convenient right from the airport and good service. I’m impressed how many North Americans are coming to see my country which sadly a lot of Romanian expats hate it. Btw this summer we had visited Peles and Bran Castle and of course Brasov. Cheers guy, you are a beautiful family ❤
You are always welcome to romania. If you go there again you have to try “mici” and our pastry from any shop really. The mici have to be made outside though

Transylvania is way more than just Dracula!
Dracula (Vlad Tepes) was in Walachia not in Transylvania. ruclips.net/video/MY82EpsvbQ8/видео.html
food looks good
Valaquia not transilvania
Dracula, or Vlad the Impaler wasn't even from Transylvania. He was Wallachian
Vlad Tepes (the real Dracula) was born in the Transylvanian town of Sighișoara (then in the Kingdom of Hungary), where his father lived in a three-story stone house from 1431 to 1435.
Very sympatic family.
Amazing!
Nice video! Next time to even spookier Hoia Baciu forest, the most haunted forest in the world ;)
Oh gosh, yes.. Jason almost booked the forest tour!
great content
Thanks!
I'm glad that you've enjoyed it.
Respect
The dish in the thumbnail(Kurtos) is actually sekey(a Hungarian speaking minority in Romania)
Very Nice !!! ❤️
Vlad II Dracul, the father of Vlad III Dracula (Țepeș) was the founder of the Drăculeşti dynasty, which lasted until the 17th century.
The surname "Țepeș" is actually a nickname (given by the Turks) given to Vlad III Dracula as a result of the method of stabbing used by him.
This nickname “Țepeș”, it is associated with Vlad after his death, has remained in use to this day.
crazy story 😯
Dracula ruclips.net/video/MY82EpsvbQ8/видео.html
Thank you for visiting Romania, you are a great ambasador for tourists arround the world. But i need to say this: what you eat at :18.38 is not epic romanian food, is a good hungarian kurtos..something. Hope you will have the chance to try a genuine romanian " cozonac", fresh out from the oven. Belive me, that is epic!
Must see Peles castle.
Waiting for you at Sibiu guys! Cheers and enjoy The tour of our beautifull Transilvania :)
We stopped in Sibiu and had some great food there as well☺️
@@familyontherun Glad to hear that. Sadly we ain`t gonna see a video from here I guess, but nevertheless enjoy the trip and show us more :D Cuz we usualy travel to other countries rather then ours, hehe.
What is Sibiu?
@@carlsz1736 Sibiu is a Transylvanian hystorical city. Never been conquered and ex capital of Transylvania for 100 years :D Just my home town :) You can look up "Sibiu 825" on youtube and turn on the translation. You got there everything you need to know. Also "Sibiu aeroterestrial" video, will show you the todays looks of the city :) But any search of Sibiu on RUclips will show you pretty much what it is :D. Cheers from transylvania :)

The last line 😂
😂😂😂
A fost frumos in Brașov dar vă așteptăm și in Maramureș, România. Aveți ce să vedeți la noi.
Vlad the Impaler, the famous ruller of Wallachia,is burried in Snagov monastery near Bucharest, not near Bran!
Hi! Kürtőskalács is actually a Hungarian dessert, even the word itself is Hungarian, but it has also became popular in Transylvania :)
Bram Stoker was a IXXth century youtuber : he wanted to make a story about Transylvania to make the readers travel in their minds. He looked at a photo of the Bran castle and he read about the historical figure Vlad the Empaler, but it was his genius to combine the two and to create the whole Dracula universe.
True! 😂
@Razvan - his "genius" was actually a mental issue since he had some psycho health problems as well as the Frankenstein's creator, Mary Shelley. Both families are well known as having such terrible health problems. No wonder their minds have created horrible monsters.
Hi guys! Nice video.
We’ll be in Brasov in a few days and were wondering about the chimney cakes. Did you get it at Kürtőskalács? Would love to know which place you got them from. Thanks!
Those houses, middle ages like, you find them in all Transylvania.
Only one day/ vlog in Bucharest? It looks kind of rush. Enjoy the rest of Romania.
Sa veniti si in IASI la palatul culturi .✌✌🇷🇴🇷🇴
7:52
thats tomatos but they are made just like how the pickles are
Actually kurtos is originally from Hungary but is very popular in Romania
That's interesting and looks yummy
@@carlsz1736 i swear is the best thing ever
Kürtőskalács - chimney-cake - originally is a sekler dish. Seklers are hungarians who lives in East-transilvanian counties. And goulash... well, that deffinetly can not be romanian.
Actually it's originally from Transylvania, which was part of Hungary at the time. So saying it's originally from Hungary kinda implies it was imported in Romanian Transylvania, which is false.
Popular in trsnsilvania.
4:50 - "That's what she said" haha
Looks wonderful. What month were you there?
August😍
Draculas was a noble race of Tramsylvania, Vlad Dracul, was one of the initiets in magic, one of the Draculas.

I wish i could travel more than i do. I wk 12hrs a day but i would just love to travel more
At Ograda, you order same dish for all of you?!
Why didn't try another 3 dishes?...
Thank you for visiting our country, but just to let you know, most of Transylvania has Hungarian culture (and a specific zone was mostly habitated by Germans and still is) and the Kurtos Kolacs is Hungarian traditional dessert.
Most of Romanian culture is in other regions.
👍
Kűrtös kalács is a Szekler-Hungarian delicacy, and Braşov is actually called Kronstadt and originary it is a Siebenburger-sachsisch city.
Brasov is called Brasov.
If the girl want to see Something spooky from my country (Romania)u should go to pădurea hoia baciu(hoia baciu forest) and u need to vizit the Peleș castel

Parisul este minciună!!
Ha, ha, ha, the Westerners have a wrong idea about the Bran Castle. Once they visit it, they feel kind of disappointed finding out that Dracula didn't exist and Vlad III the Impaler has nothing to do with what they were thinking about him, Dracula and the castle.
The castle's owner, a Hapsburg, makes a lot of money from the people's spooky expectations and beliefs. Anyway, it worths a visit.
Was this recorded in summer ?
Early September ☺️
19:00 maybe because it was made out of.......HUMANS MUHAHAAHAAAA!!!!

About the Dracula .........Any fictional story can have some base of true facts behind ( And you may discover that at that time , or long after that time in years )👀
