- 3 ABY, during the Imperial invasion of Hoth...
Dash Rendar is a smuggler and mercenary for hire. After having his only chance at life in the Imperial Academy ruined by Prince Xizor, he’s been trying to make his way around the galaxy.
He met up with Han Solo and formed a friendly rivalry with the fellow Corellian. After getting a contract with Princess Leia, he’s helping to deliver supplies to the Rebel Alliance. He's been offered a chance for some extra cash by Luke Skywalker and Han Solo by temporarily joining Rogue Squadron in defense of Echo Base. Despite downing an AT-AT without a gunner and fending the Imps as best as he could, the Shield Generator is destroyed and he is forced to get off the ice cube or be stuck at the mercy of the Empire...

This game was the perfect tie in to my favourite battle as well as my favourite Star Wars film of all time.
It was such an experience growing up.
My Favorite level in SoTE they need to remake this game i played it nonstop back N64 days.
The stormtrooper grunt and death effects are my favorite hearing them, it is so nostalgic.
It was the game itself that got me into the Expanded Universe as a whole. Seeing this is a tribute to those days and I'd say you even added your own flare to it with the banter. Well done, man.

This is actually the first appearance of Dash in the ‘Rendar Saga’, and I plan on doing the rest of Shadows of the Empire throughout December. :)

I haven't played this game since I was a kid and seeing this definitely gives me mad nostalgia. Maybe it's about time I finally beat the game. Nice work!

I'm still trying to figure out how did make the ATST move like that, whether if those were new Maps, how do film those Ship Scenes :D
Since there’s 2 NPCs for AT-STs, one for vehicle and one for an enemy, I merely controlled the NPC one with Movie Duels ingame NPC control. The Hoth map with the speeder flying is in MD already, and the other map was a multiplayer version of the story one. Lastly, the snowspeeder scene was me changing my playermodel to the vehicle so I don’t have to control it. :)
