    I came across your video when I was preparing for my visa interview and it was super helpful so thanks! 1 thing I found true: it helps when you have prior international travel experience, at least I think that's what made mine a lot easier. Also a few things to note for the rest of the visa aspirants, you can only bring black ballpoint pens in there, sign pens are prohibited as well as any liquid such as sanitizers, perfumes, etc. I had my interview last Friday at 7:15AM and got approved. Was interviewed for probably not more than 5 mins. When the consul asked my purpose of travel and if I had prior international travel experience, I said I'm going there for business and I have traveled to several other countries before also on business. He asked if he could see my old passport and visa grant in Australia and good thing I brought them with me. Upon seeing that, he then said my visa was approved and they'll be keeping my passport for the visa and will send it back in a week's time. No other document was asked. Surprisingly, I got my visa yesterday morning which was just 1 business day from my interview date.

      How long did it take you po? From filling out the ds 160 to getting approved?

    • @liahgmz
      @liahgmz 4 месяца назад

      @@lilyofthevalley3090 i actually rushed my process because my friend invited me to LA out of the blue with only a couple months to prep. i submitted all my forms on the same day, and the payment took a couple days to push through. once that was done, i immediately tried to get a schedule for an interview.
      the soonest interview was five months away and my trip was in a few weeks. so i took whatever slot i could, and i refreshed the website multiple times a day in case i could get a sooner interview, because you're allowed to reschedule. (i learned that trick from a friend, and i actually did the exact same thing to get my mom a sooner interview slot for her own visa application.) eventually a slot opened up that was just a few days away. this happens when people cancel. so i took that slot, did the interview, got approved the same day, and got my passport in the mail like 3 days later.
      all in all, the entire process, from filling out the forms to receiving my visa, took me under 3 weeks. the only thing that takes long is waiting on an earlier interview slot, so if you want to speed up the process, i suggest you do the trick i outlined above. :)
      hope this helps!

    This is a comprehensive step-by-step guide for applying for a US Visa. It is crucial to provide accurate information during the application process, as making corrections can be troublesome once the form has been finalized and the receipt has been submitted online. In such cases, it may be necessary to contact the US Embassy for corrections or even purchase another receipt.
    Applying for a US Visa can be challenging due to each applicant having a different profile. If you feel confident and have all the necessary supporting documents, you can proceed with the application on your own. However, if you are unsure about the process, it may be helpful to consult with a travel agency that specializes in visa applications. They can assist you by handling all the necessary details and inputting them online on your behalf. Additionally, working with a travel agency may provide visa coaching to help you prepare for your interview.

    Great blow by blow info and sinasabi mo rin yung need puntahan na site.
    Nagsechedule kami last Nov 30, earliest slot we had was April 27. Funny story lang, di kami nagdalanhg 2x2 since wala siya sa appointment letter pero we left our wallets sa sis ko na nagbabantay sa may BK. My other sister had to run to there para makakuha pera dun sa photobooth. Lols
    My interview ran for like 5 minutes or less, mabait din consul na natapatan ko. Almost the same questions din sa akin. Huli is yung nagconfirm kung nagUS nako before at ano trips na nagawa ko na after. Tapos ayun, sinabihan na sko na you're visa is approved. :) After that, parang nawala na adrenaline ko ahaha
    Tip lang din sa iba. Just answer truthfully and alam nila if you are lying.

    Ayos yan mga kabayan. Pag na approve kayo gamitin nyo lang once then yung second trip nyo punta kayo Canada para ma avail nyo yung visa free privilege nila for Pinoy US vis holders. Then pagdating don hanap kayo employer na mag sponsor sa inyo or kung paubos na authorized stay nyo pa change kayo status to Student visa para makakuha kayo ng Work Permit at Social Security Number. Pili lang kayo ng school na nagbibigay ng PGWP para may pathway kayo for PR.

    But, how many days will the passport be delivered back to your address? I am so anxious cuz in less than 2 weeks, I will be traveling also.

    Hi, very informative vlog. Can you still edit your DS-160 after paying & scheduling your interview? In case kasi na makapagparesched ng earlier interview date, can we still edit or change the arrival date earlier din? Thanks for your help. 😊

    Hi super thank you for this informative video! Pag PesoNet payment po ba via BPI dapat may e-mail confirmation rin po mareceive na paid na visa fee? I was able to schedule my interview but I don't know how or what to print the "receipt" for proof of payment... Didn't receive an e-mail of payment receipt to show sa US Embassy. Any lead or idea would be highly appreciated po huhu thanks again!

    Hello, do you pay po ba the embassy to mail your passport back? If so how is it process? You pay ahead? What form? Or did you pay them on your appointment after they said your approve?
