Why does the right wing always look to the past? It's always about reverting the country to a non-existent romantacised, nostalgic fantasy of the older generation's childhood years instead of looking to the future and envisioning a country of tomorrow.
Probably because Brexit achieved negative results.
@maxmac7845 Brexit really never got off the ground.
EU will take the UK to court for not leaving as you promised.

Instant gratification - that's the expectation, a byproduct of populism. Incumbency is dead through Europe and North America as a result. All eyes on the price of eggs once Trump takes office, and the excuses when nothing changes.
It's a fake ticker, If they don't remove it soon it will show the membership at 80 million in the UK.

Farage/boris- the men who swapped white eu immigration for asian/african. Farage the genius..
@s6edge706
That's a total myth when it comes to Farage. He wanted ALL immigration to be reduced. Johnson promised to do that in 2019, and then broke his promise.
@@DoggleBirdNo, Johnson promised to create a "global Britain"
Sounds like you got what you wanted
@HarryNottings Why do you think I set any store by what Johnson said? I always knew what he was and that he used Brexit as his vehicle to power - but what choice did Brexiteers have in 2019? It was Boris and his "Get Brexit done" - or trusting Labour to deliver a Brexit (which would have meant no meaningful Brexit).
Sunlit uplands.

Yeah, worked wonders in Germany and Holland or even France. The money men do not like that system either, money likes a majority gov.
It's only a matter of time the Tories will back electoral reform now the right wing is split.
No it won't. Even if it did, they have no power to enforce it. Labour is your best shot for that because 1) they're in power and 2) a large part of their membership want electoral reform.
