- I bet you all have heard of this mod called Alex’s Caves, right? This mod adds 5 new caves biomes and 35 new mobs to the game, with their own uses, blocks and items. It also adds a boss, which is the Luxtructosaurus. But what if I were to tell you that Alexander Mobiles, AKA the creator of this masterpiece, is working on another game-changing update. Alex’s Caves will show you what Minecraft’s Caves and Cliffs should have been, once again, adding the Candy Cavity, the 6th biome to this mod, at the moment. In this video, I will be telling you everything we know so far. Be sure to check out Alex’s Mods discord server, because he will keep you up to date with the mod’s progress.

More information: Gum Worms can be lured using Gobthumpers a block that can be crafted using a few items found in the Candy Cavity, making it a useful block when you are ready to fight the Gum Worm but cant find one

I know, right? It feels out of place somehow to place it in a cave. The candy cavity deserves its own dimension and should not be limited to a cave

@@evlogan6543 And I'm excited for it, I just find it odd that such amazing concepts are restricted to caves (I understand the ''hidden world'' aspect of it like the dinosaur's, deep seas, and cult mole society and toxic caves) but a candy biome feels somewhat out of place. I'm kind of confused by the ''Heavenly Hallows'' biome and the reasoning behind placing an angelic creatures in a cave of all places. The features are incredible don't get me wrong but there certainly better areas on the surface that these new biomes can be implemented instead of some damp cave that doesn't complement its grandeur and scale. The flesh pit biome is something looking forward to and it fits the caves better.

the caniac with the purple aura when fighting the player with the witch, seemed to give some particles back to the witch, maybe lifesteal?

I disagree. I think Minecraft needs to be little balanced. Not too simple but not too complicated either. This is too complicated for vanilla (I still like the mod though)
@@adrianalobo6780 It's not about how complicated it is, it's about the fact that Alex and Noon manage to update their mod with lots of new complicated features and original ideas in half of the time Mojang does it...
While it seems unfair, look at these 2 guys and lots of mods (remember there's also Alex's Mobs, the Nope Mod, Ice and Fire and another secret mod they are working on) and compare them to a giant company owned by *Microsoft* and a single game...
While i like Minecraft a lot and try to support Mojang, sometimes, we gotta really agree that Modders do it way better. It's not a matter of features, it's a matter of quality

This is definitely the best and most talented Minecraft mod maker we have at the moment, every update he adds is amazing
I feel like the reason this kind of stuff is not in the caves and cliffs update is that most of the minecraft playerbase will then call it not minecraft like or just straight up call it too complicated

Ive got this request several times but I can’t promise if I’ll ever do it, it might cross my mind and give me motivation to do it one day, depending on if we get an update that introduces another cool boss that I like

I’m sad that there’s no release date yet. I really wanted it to come yesterday as that was 2 weeks after that trailer.
I WISH I COULD SEE THIS UPDATE, sadly my little mac lost ENTIRE ACCESS to curseforge because my mc is so old (its reached its final update so i cant update it to fix it), i cant find out how to break curseforge and regain access to it, someone on reddit says they were able to re-gain access to it but wont give it up, and also yes im too broke to afford a new gen PC.
as it sound cool it will be i'm only hyped if we get more dinosaur sooner or later but candy cavity mostly focus on candy related staff so in my opinion it would be like part of new dinosaur that maybe included yet or not in the features i'm just trying to say for as suggestions.

Idk, I think actually traveling to the caves is more fun than just making a portal to go there. Also I don't think the cave has enough variety in its biomes to warrant being another dimension, compared to the Nether.

Is the Candy Cavity update almost done?
Not sure man, they just released the preview, you know how long it took for Alex’s Caves their first release to drop after the latest preview, the one for the forlorn hollows was in June and my boy released in October. So I think if the preview was also here in June, and it’s only 1 biome. I would say minimum somewhere in the end of July, and maximum end of August or start of September

I think there’ll be exceptions of things you can’t eat like weapons and such just to not eat a weapon with powerful enchants on it
