Also while you can argue protection from removal may be unhealthy.
I think it can be partially healthy in the fact that it encourages “debuffing” affects rather than outright removal. Because let’s be completely real efficient removal “ Especially on bodies” is also extremely unhealthy and often the reason why these invincible protection effects start occurring.
I actually loved that the de-digievolve Is more viable now than ever because of protection

I personally don't have a problem with protection, I just don't want to see something that has no outs. Like greymon x from bt9 for example, it can't be bounced or deleted, allowing other types of removals can still effect it. However magnamon's is just too good at what it protects from and how often it can keep triggering is a problem.

You may have done this before, but do you have a comprehensive list of the hits you think would fix the trajectory of the game in your opinion?

Thinking about it now X antibody cards are usually really strong too. I get that is a lore thing but a lot of X form digimon seems to be somewhat problematic same with the option cards.

My least favorite mechanic in any game is resource denial. Targeted discard, random discard, taxing, etc all feel bad.

I think you might be underestimating BT18 and BT19, but if you just look at what the decks do, you're right in that they don't have the speed and protection that our current meta decks do. I personally want to buy a lot of boxes of 2.0, so I don't mind if the price tanks, but I get that it's bad for business.

For me playing It protection bypassing. Or lack of protection.
It’s actually miserable when I push out a body only get a single or 2 check in before my opponent evolves into their mega outs my body leaving me with nothing making me even question why did I invest into a big stack.
There was a reason almost every single stack deck before protection was everywhere was an OTK deck. Investing in a Stack that could be removed by a single affect it’s just dumb and not worth anything unless it’s finishing the game
Oh so this is why galacticmon was my first favorite deck in the game. Because it’s an investment that can’t just be answered by a single card back in the day ~~ of course nowadays every single dick literally eats it up and chew it alive but it was fun and I hope the new support fixes its speed issue and weakness to sore strip~~

I dont like security and seeing how almost every bandai game does it makes it very boring IMO.
I hope bandai can course correct as these issues also seems to be making the game more complex and less accessible. it is interesting to hear that 11 decks isnt a bad meta spread but that there are less rouge decks able to break into the meta because of this.
