Yeah from what I have seen the promos are mostly 1 of if played at all.

Yea I don't think this will be new player friendly, as you state later on. Its gonna definitely be bugs, bunnies, 3 angels, yellow vaccine, Shinegreymon, Leomon, and other meta/off meta decks. Especially my locals likes to be try hards during these events.

If you ask me there's enogh room in this deck for generic green support you do not rly need the promos so you can get crazy on what to add in it to make it more powerful

I played that event last friday, I played Argomon and absolutely lost (very bricky deck). Winner was Bloomlord (he won UC and topped regionals before). He was able to overcome the Pomumon and Pillomon floodgates. Also 3 Angels is quite hard to beat when they have access to many aces.

I don't think Bandai nerfed yellow vaccine enough for it to not be the most competitive deck in this tournament.

Are any of the structure decks worth picking up right now (Liberators/Double Typhoon)? OR just try to make meta deck with singles.

I’m excited! My very first tournament was for the Double Typhoon event, so I love how creative some people can get with these. Plus it makes more than just the “meta decks” playable. Even if just for the few events 🤗🥰

Promo Exermon is honestly way more oppressive than Runnermon in my deck testing. The inheritable punishes opponents a lot, and while Runnermons 1 memory gain is okay, the power to lockdown an opponents card can pull surprising advantage. It was released as a tournament prize.

Another card I personally play is analog youth at 3. Helps getting takemika in trash

I would highly recommend Shinegreymon Burst Ace, and foget the looga line

Have you tried the build that doesn't use Takemikazuchi? I feel like relying on one card(Climbmon) to set that up sounds tough to setup because you may not see that Climbmon no?

Still don't know how to feel about the BT17 Agu/Geo, or the other yellow Agu. BT17 Rize seems just fine as the secondary level 5 though for sure. I do think I lean more towards the red base, because even BT17 Shine seems pretty average if not below average. Idk something about the aggression of the BT12 Shine just seems like that's the way to go, and pushes aggression and lets you really press for game. I do like the DP minus though of the yellow base, seems pretty solid for removal, but I do think that draw off red koro can matter sometimes more than the -1K of the yellow Koro. Even in red base, I also used to tech in at least 1 Kudamon as well, just such a good search with a potential grab 2 as well. Also got to say, I really just don't know if I'm a believer in that new Marcus. Have you playtested with him? I genuinely just think it's also rough, and probably not even worth playing and just sticking with the old 4/4 split. Either way, love me some Shine!

This version of Shinegreymon really fulfills the fantasy of actually playing as Marcus and Augumon as a team. It's my favorite yet

Also tech of pillo, crimson blaze, dynasmon ace might add some crazy plays shine doesnt have much tech but it is so self reliant which I enjoy instead get good cards and slap engines together.

If im going to play more searchers, im playing kuda or ukko. Not a fan of that other agu to search a 2 color card.

I really think they messed up with black agumon, loogamon not only cheats tamer like dorumon but also does the job of agumon better (not even limited to kosuke) i feel like its redicolous how strong looga is while the black base ones are SO held back.

ravemon seems pretty fun. i might make it for this format. though it seems like it'll struggle with big blockers like magna x. though it does seem more memory efficient at least

Almost wish there was more games shown but i get that this is more a proof of concept with the deck list attached than anything else. more people are probably interested in seeing the more meta decks that they would more likely to see at events so they know how to play them and beat them.

1:16:10 I get that Red Hybrids is better than Gallant, but you would have won that game if you took bt12 gallant from trash instead of the ace. A bad red hybrid deck beat a well constructed gallantmon deck piloted by a player without much experience with the deck Also you should cut og crimson mode. He is only better than the ace early on, but the ace snowballs faster. For example in one game your oppenent had 18 cards in trash so ex2 would trash 2 sec. But you also had 13 in trash, so a total 31, so bt17 trashes 3 sec

Game 2 I was screaming everytime you hovered over the crimson mode. If you went into it at 35:20 you won
