Bret: I loved being on the Versus Wolves podcast, it was great taking about wrestling, how John or Woolie would fair in the Dungeon, video-games, anime and placing the Screwjob above Omikron on the Pantheon of Greatness. The two hosts were fun, safe and professional; the opposite of Goldberg.

Well, Goldberg kicked... down the door and made his home there. I say it's fair.

I get it, but the fact that Bret has zero self awareness that he 1000% exacerbated the concussions by wrestling another 9 matches in the following 3 weeks, including a fucking hardcore match with Terry Funk, makes me less willing to be on his side. I don't know if he just stupidly refused to get checked out/take time off, or if it was whoever was booking WCW at the time not letting him, but either way, holding such an insane grudge for DECADES against a guy for an accident is just dumb.
There are interviews with wrestlers that go on and on about how shitty pro wrestling doctors are to the talent. CM Punk talks about being fucked up, trying to get help, and the doctor was just pushing him to say he was good to go or his career was gonna be fucked.
Fun fact the next match CM Punk did after talking to that doctor he shit his pants live in front of the whole arena and cameras.

When I found out Bret Hart was a Tajiri mark from Jim Ross's podcast, it made me so sad (speaking as a Tajiri fan myself), because Goldberg ending Bret's career screwed us out of a potential match between the two in the same vein as Bret vs Hakushi at the original In Your House PPV and that match could've been *FIRE*
