The wire on the sealight high beam should be at the bottom when you screw it in, at 6 O'clock. The light is designed so the the led's point at 3 O'clock and 9 O'clock. I think the issue is my high beams the slots are in a little bit different place and a regular halogen bulb is omnidirectional where these just have the lights on either side I think it needs to go in there at a different angle I’m gonna look to see if I can rotate that but thank you for the suggestion
@@ClutchTrucker Yes, the LED portion of the new bulbs need to be positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock. Also, if your set has H11 bulbs and 9006 bulbs, the H11 are low beam and 9006 are high beam.
From my wife - traveling with my family in the mid 50s we stopped at Little America when it literally was just a gas station with about 40 pumps! Boy, has it changed!
I got these lights for a Mazda CX-9 and other than the color being blue compared to the original yellow orange halogen lights I did not notice much of an increase in brightness or visibility. In fact the high beam have the penetration of the halogen bulb and I found that was because when you lock the bulb in the fixture the legs are not facing 3:00 and 9:00 like the instructions say they should. Unfortunately The Bulb Has No Mains to rotate the lead assembly to get proper alignment. So it looks like I'll be returning those. I've ordered a set of X4 boobs which are the top of the line from this company and should be somewhat brighter.

Hey Clutch... I ordered my new LED Headlight sets off Amazon while on my hometime, I used Fuhren and like yours they have the driver for each bulb... Little hot 🔥 down here in Laredo at 102 degrees so I put them in this morning while it was like 80 degrees.... I'll see how they are tonight, but even in broad daylight the light is much brighter as I can tell. I'm doing it it two step being my first time using LED headlights, so I will put my high beam ones in a couple days from now.. can sure tell the yellow of halogen verses the very white light of LEDs. I went with Furhen because several of our drivers are using them in same truck I have (2019 KWT680) and have no issues with error codes, etc. .Thanks for sharing this Clutch and I am considering going with the Amazon Locker to, have a Prime Account also, so I'm glad you included this in the video....Our company will let you install your own headlights and you just scan Transflo in for the reimbursement, it's a wonderful thing.. I haven’t zip tied him down to anything yet because I just first was making sure they worked and I haven’t had a chance to then re-position where the driver is I’m gonna have to finagle around with a little bit I think
It ended up the hi-9005 is on the outside driving lamp then the 9006 was on the hi-beam and I used a dremel to open the retainer hole the LED fit was visually a bit larger than the original. I think the illumines are the same in both bulbs on the Intrigue the inner reflector creates hi and lo beams.
Starting off with 9005 bulbs, they are rated for 65 watts which means they will use more power but also have slightly better light output as a result. 9006 bulbs, on the other hand, are a bit more power efficient at 55 watts so opt for these if you have less juice to spare.
9005 being 65 watts would make a better driving lamp since my '98 Olds Intrigue has smoke tinted headlamp assemblies and the 9006 as hi-beam actually came up very bright in the hi-beam reflector so I will roll with it the way it is.
Were those shadows from the headlights or the bull bars? I know that led headlight have different orientation of the plastic supports around the LED. Some are supposed to be vertical and others horizontal. Wondering if that could be a reason for the high beams being messed up?
Yes you’re correct the shadow you were seeing was from my bull guard or grill guard which ever you want to call it. It shows up like that even with the halogen bulbs. And I believe you’re correct I think the headlight highbeam slot is turned sideways and wear a regular halogen bulb is Omni directional light these LED bulbs come out of each side and I think that needs to be rotated I’m gonna see if I can figure out a way to do that
Question, can this lights be install backwards? The low beam for the high beam? Because everyone is flashing their lights, hopefully you can help me with this one?
Hey clutch and rusty, the led lights are awesome. I have a prime account too. Other than sapp brothers do you know what other locations have the lockers or if you know how to find out
A lot of TAs have them and if you go look under each location under the extra amenities tab if they have one there they will list it there. I have a 2019 Volvo VNL and just found out that if I loose a light the entire headlight assembly has to be replaced with the new LED lights factory sealed inside. $2,500 per light. YIKES! (I love your outrage at the price you used to pay for LED's)

2 things, 1 you get what you pay for with LEDs 2 you need to be able to adjust them (clockable) to the 3 and 9 o'clock position. Cheaper LED headlight bulbs are not clockable.
