What a gigantic waste of tax money. This highway is under utilized and the concrete pavement is deteriorating and spalling all over the place.

Really glad to see you on RUclips now I love your Instagram. You are right this highway to nowhere is the worst because I demolished so many homes for absolutely nothing

very informative--- i have been in Bmore so many times and didn't realize this. I see where it is because of the map and the Walters museum, so maybe I was on it but assumed the highway continued....hmm not the same highway out to Hampden then

Appreciate it!! Trying for once a week…. But I’m even worse at it than I expected so I may be a little less frequently than that. Hopefully it gets easier as I get some practice!

The environmentalists killed the project by protesting it going through Gwynns Falls Park falling the river down to I95. They removed the "bridge to nowhere " some 10+ yes ago where it went over I 95.

We used to drive to the end of 70 then come into the city on this road to see Orioles games when I was younger. Always wondered about why it was built this way.

They didn't want to lose the neighborhood homes back when this road was built. I would say the late 70s. The money was used to rehab 83 north. That road was one large pot hole.

Ignore the instagram comments. RUclips is where its at as far as this type of story. There's only so much you can put in a caption on a picture.

Can’t wait until the federal funding comes thru to tear this thing down! It looks like this may be the only highway removal done with the new infrastructure bill.
