We don't really need Love to be much better. If the defense improves and we actually have a reliable kicker, we can beat anyone as presently constructed.
GB needs Love to prove he can consistently play at top level even as the league learns how to defend against him.
@rabbijoe316 As a Vikings fan good luck on the reliable kicker part. Greg Joseph is decent but he will miss the important PAT's. He will hit a 55 yard FG then miss a 27 yarder.
@@laudanum669 Nobody asked you.
This made me come
@@laudanum669 bro talking about Joseph missed PATs when preseason-playoffs Carlson missed 10. It literally can’t get any worse. You need a reliable kicker. I’ll take anyone to replace Carlson
🗣️ LOVE ERA!!! 💯💯
As a Packers fan, i kinda like everyone picking the lions to with the north. Give this team another reason to work 🧀
Same here
lions still have more reasons. no ones out workin that culture dan campbells put in place.
@@funnyguyty we're about to find out
@@funnyguytygonna be tough to swallow heading back down to reality
The litmus test is if Jacobs can pick up the Aaron Jones slack…the GB offense did not click until he was back in the line up
Haters gonna hate in the comments. We will see, trust the process
The WR corp hasn’t had this much depth since the Perfect Pack! (Jennings, Nelson, Driver, Jones, Finley)
This entire roster is stacked as far as I'm concerned. Best GB team I've seen in a long time.
The 10 biggest question marks for me for the 2024 Green Bay Packers would be:
1) Can Jordan Love maintain the ball control that made him so good 2nd half of 2023?
Will he prove this season he can play in the clutch? Last 2 minutes 5 INTs last season!
2) Can these WR/TE rooms sustain & improve on their performance from a year ago?
3) Can Morgan & Walker become very solid starters & make this offensive line elite again?
4) Will Gutekunst make any moves to strengthen this very very weak offensive line depth?
5) Will Alexander, McKinney & Jacobs earn their big fat paychecks & play like all-pros?
6) Can this rookie class produce as well as the past two have for this Packers team?
7) Can this D continue to get tackles for loss & be stout vs the run game all season long?
8) Can this D continue to get turnovers & get GB back to being elite in NFL turnover ratio?
9) Can Rich Bisaccia finally earn his big fat paycheck & have an NFL leader on teams?
10) Can this team just once for the first time in over three seasons avoid the injury bug?
GB face a very stiff test with the toughest NFC schedule & 4th hardest in the entire NFL.
Playing in a division on the rise that may be toughest in all of football come season's end!
They'll have to avoid the injury bug that has plagued this team over the past two seasons.
It's time to bring Lombardi home in 2025 lead by their QB Jordan Love NFL MVP 2025!
Go Pack Go!
I just look at the fact that they were the youngest team in the NFL last season and did that, went that far, beat the Cowboys in the playoffs, very easily could've beaten the 49ers had a few plays gone their way. A lot of those guys entering their 2nd or 3rd seasons and improving. And honestly, I like their strategy at receiver. They didn't sign any top guys, they just drafted a bunch, just threw them at the wall to see what sticks and it seems to have worked.
The packers don’t “Stumble” into their next QB lol
Hello from Lake Geneva
Hello from Eau Claire!
Yooooooo clear water represent!
Schedule at the end of the season is never the same as schedule beginning of the season. It could get easier, it could get harder.
Great expectations is a fantastic book, a must read
Cue Neil Young - "Only Love can break your heart..."
For the longest time I thought Brock man was hasselback brother or cousin atleast lmao😂💀
I got the Packers at 11 wins. Detroit at 13. Detroit has built a juggernaut, and their core is young. This will be a fun 3 or 4 years for the NFC North.
I still don't 100% trust Goff, but no doubt they'll be very good.
Lions are great. No doubt. It's football though. Any given Sunday. Injuries and bad bounces ( horrible calls) all play a role.
I don’t know lions have less depth at wr, both o lines and d line, and a lot of projection in the secondary. The defense, the Packers played in the playoffs where they were actually pretty sound and stout is closer to what they’ll be running this year and the top four safeties are all better than the safeties the packers had last year.
They seem pretty even with an edge to the Lions if the lions stay healthy, any season ending injury to the Lions on the oline or dline puts the packers ahead because the Packers just have that much depth and the drop off isn’t that much compared to the Lions
Packers also have a juggernaut and incredible depth. 6 straights years of 10+ draft picks.
@@ninjalbatross I mean, not to rain on your parade, but the Packers have a TON of guys under 25, but none of them are on the top 25 under 25. Lions have 5. Just saying, that's not a juggernaut. Maybe 2025, 2026, or 2027... but not this year.
Just so it's said: Jordan Love's $55m APY is a façade. Go look at the numbers. It's 3 years of manageable cap hits (while the cap inevitably goes up) and clearly there will be an extension or release due prior to year 4 of the deal. Also, he was already under contract for this season, so 5 years of contractual control, the outs start after 3rd year.
It’s a facade for lots of QBs but most people won’t look past the initial false reporting. Mahomes has massive cap hits yet he’s a saint for taking less money and love and Lawrence who have friendly team deals but are the highest paid in the league somehow are massively overpaid and it’s a joke lol
@@Matt-yq3gq Yep, Mahomes highest paid (as several reported/commented on other videos).
Nothing wrong with that, just annoyed by the narrative.
@@ko9655 oh yeah, that’s the way of the media and fans who can’t think past a clickbait headline unfortunately.
I agree, however what does a Falcons team know about QB play? They overpaid for an old injured one……
I think GB found the next Romo, which would still be very fortunate
If Green Bay stays healthy they'll be a hand full. Love has gotten much better with the long ball now too.
The real boost is when all teams are losing players to injuries the packers will still be able to field an outstanding team. Attrition kills hopes but packers are stacked
GB goes 20-0 for the first undefeated season in NFL history!! 🧀👑
There have been several undefeated teams in NFL history and one even in the Super Bowl era......
I just hope that AJ trade doesnt come to bite us later.
13-4 if Love's healthy. Maybe even better
As much as I'm rooting for Watson... deep down I know when the dust settles it'll be Doubs as WR1 and Wicks and Reed as WR2/WR3 and then Melton. I have zero concerns about Love (and I was his biggest GB fan doubter a year ago). No what concerns me most is kicker, it's not a good sign we have 3 signed and none of them look good. I'm also a little concerned about Josh Jacobs and the run game in general (still hate losing A. Jones). The defense is also forever a concern, looks good this year though so fingers crossed.
But concern about Love? None at all. 10 wins at least, if Jacobs is his 2022 version and the defense is at least mid, where fighting for the north title, top seeding and the Super Bowl.
I think packers took the next step the last couple games of the season. They could possibly be the time of team to put their foot on the gas towards the end of their season and catch people sleeping. They are 90% as good as Detroit. It’s not by much.
The "Eau Claire, I wanna hear from you." is a funny comment??
It's all making sense now isn't it?
Packers are young and good...for sure. But I will take Gibbs, Montgomery, LaPorta, St. Brown and Jameson Williams over what they are trotting out, all day!
Yeah,,,,,, "Stumble"? Packers plan accordingly. Other teams would be wise to invest similarly 😊
As a packer fan, I think we go 10-7 and make the wild card. I'm still concerned about our run game and the run defense, but if everything clicks on defense, this team in going to win 12 games and possibly make the superbowl.
What concerns about the running game? They have a good line and a lot of talent at RB
They got josh jacobs?
Josh Jacobs is every bit as good as Jones, no need to worry about the run game.
@@austinstice3512 Id argue he's better... AJ had alot miles on those tires. I'm willing to bet at the end of the season the packers are gonna look like the winners when the Vikings have 6 or 7 wins and AJ is a avg RB at best. No hate on him i really loved him as a packer but the wall hits fast on that position and its better to be a year early than a year late.
@@crandonborth I think you are underestimating the Vikings. They have so many play makers on offense and just need a good play manager at QB. Plus their defense is going to be one of the best in the league. I see the Lions, Packers and Vikings all making the playoffs.
I think Love is good he’s not a future all time great as they’re making him out to be we will see though this year is his real test
Played and a good receiver I’m sure other receivers got paid higher I mean look at Adams. I don’t know how and got that kind of money just came up with it. All of a sudden narrators got it. Home Packers matched it and then some on top of it. buddy, walked anyway gold is college brand that went away. Anyway I got pushed out the door just for his college football quarterback that’s not there anymore.❤❤ and we should be able to do that with Christian Watson how is there body gets through rough sport?✅✅
I'm hoping that Love can break the curse and doesn't become the 3rd super-talented tool in a row for the Packers.
As long as we get a Lombardi out of it I’m good either way.
@@bgpoppapump3313 LOL
13-4
It's awesome seeing GB upgrade at QB
Fun fact..GB playbook last year was 3x the size of any of the Rodgers years playbooks
And by week 11 of every Rodgers year it has been pointed out Rodgers only would throw 4 plays....he only allowed 2 formations..bro is old and washed
The moment GB dumped off the old guys they put up historic results
How do you know that? Just curious
The Brazil game is on NBC, right? I'm not paying to Peacock garbage!!
Bro is mid and he has dak to thank for his contract 😂
If the Guy$ stay healthy, we going to the $uper Bowl🫡 and we gone WIN, I don’t care who we play 💯 Mahomes is in TROUBLE we both get to that $uper Bowl 🧀🧀🧀🧀
Lmao. People really think Love is a superstar after playing half a good season, huh? We shall see!
More than half tbh, everyone knows he was the best QB in the second half of the year tho
Yeah like geez... let him win this years superbowl and Mvp first. 😂
Half a good season is an extreme understatement. He was the best QB in the league the last half of the season and it wasn’t close. I’m pretty sure GB knows what they’re doing with QBs and what a franchise QB looks like more than you do sitting on your couch typing on your phone 🫵😂
Woww!
Rich is really bad at this.
What a clunky conversation!
He is a dorkier Jay Cutler.
I’m a bears fan so take what I’m saying with a grain of salt - I’d be slightly paused with Love in how lopsided his skillset is. Without a doubt he has some elite short to mid range game. But his deep ball is severely lacking.
I personally put a lot of success on Lafluer who I think is one of the best offensive minds in the game. But we will see!
It doesn’t hurt that they’re so deep at WR/TE
Deep ball accuracy is much more about chemistry with receivers than anything else. He was basically the best deep ball thrower in the league in the second half of the season, and he's been nailing them like crazy this training camp. I'm not worried about it.
Stats from PFF "From Week 10 on, Love led the league in deep attempts (52) and EPA (1.178) while finishing second in positive EPA rate (56.9%). He recorded 10 touchdowns and 20 big-time throws on deep passes, both ranking first, and finished with a 121.0 passer rating (fourth)."
So I'm not sure what you were seeing in regards to him having a bad deep ball other than not being on the same page with his guys the first half of the season.
@@Grable424Love is going to be a juggernaut in this league
His mid to deep balls are great. Anything past 50 yards gets shaky but honestly how often does that throw happen? Once or twice a game?
He had 7 good games.... come on the Packers OVER PAID!
Facts
Yeah, the Packers have no history of developing great QBs 🙄. The Falcons, on the other hand, traded Favre to the Packers.
Dude it ain’t about the wins . Look at the film even on the games he lost . He has real talent not to mention how great his footwork is when he throws the ball .
As did the jaguars, dolphins, and basically any other team minus the Chiefs
Love presnap is amazing
Go Pack Go.
I LOVE how the talking heads have ALREADY annointed Jordan Love a franchise QB over his last 8 game performance. You know that could have been a fluke and this year he could be a disaster. It has HAPPENED before because teams now have tape on him. AND I say this while sipping on a nice Red Merlot, Rich!!! :) My prediction is that he will be a flop as will the Bears new QB and Rodgers with the Jets. As well as my Cowboys!
Go pack go!
