I'm in Ft Lauderdale Florida and I know where you're coming from. It's so freaking hot here but also I'm 52 with dry skin so I love the skin tints

@flawedfabulous I totally agree 💯%. Wet and wild make a pretty good skin tint but there is definitely not a big range in color. I think there's only like 8 shades

I love the Loreal Nude, I have just bought the maybelline 4 in 1 and love it. Dont thinnk the new superstay is here in Australia yet. but will be looking out for that. I am 58 with dry skin, so will be trying it for sure.

I would actually like to try that one. I haven't tried that green one but I think I have the L'Oreal true match and I think it's working okay on me. As long as I use the e.l.f. Cosmetics Power Grip Primer + 4% Niacinamide, there are a few of these kinds of foundations that I can use. But I have to wear that primer with any foundation that I try or that I can use. But I would like to try that new one.

I haven’t heard of this skin tint. I didn’t care for the green maybellene skin tint but I did like the L’Oréal skin tint. This new one might be in my future.
This one is more comparable to the L'Oreal one for sure.
I compared the ingredients of the Maybelline and the Loreal, and it looks like the first 7 ingredients are the same. The rest of the ingredients are comparable, with only 4 or 5 ingredients in each formula being different. So I’m guessing they are quite similar, in the end. I LOVE the Loreal serum, and am on my third bottle, which is unheard of for me and foundations 😂. So when I run out of my current bottle, I might pick up the Maybelline formula. I’m hoping Maybelline’s lightest option is a tad lighter than the lightest in Loreal, bc that one is still a touch dark for me, esp in winter.

Why don't brands, who are only releasing 16 or 18 shades, make them all neutral? The shade you used would've been near perfect had it not had the yellow undertone. Just my thoughts that randomly float in and out of the grey matter 🧠

Wow your skin did not get oily at all really. Idk if you mentioned if it was a matte? I’ve been using L’Oréal’s push up 4-in-1 corrector and setting with no 7 powder or wet n wild primer powder (trying to pan). I also use the primer powder on my eyes. I’ll go back to their other white powder bc it’s more blurring.
L’Oréal just released some infallible blushes! They’re beautiful and the color choices remind me of haus labs. I am going to try this skin tint bc I love their HA serum! So I’ll love the vitamin c infused!

I ordered it too. Tough to pick a shade, but chose 6.5. So weird that there are no shade descriptions or even a chart with all the shades so you can compare. At first I thought your blush was a bit dark, but it looks great with your lipstick and finished look!

@@SteffsBeautyStash BTW, I tried the Revlon 24 Hour Color Stay today and it is GORGEOUS! I really love it . . . maybe even more than the Revlon Illuminance, which has been my drugstore favorite since it came out.
When I look on the Maybelline site the shades are different then the UK so I wonder what color 06 translate to in the US shades.

Consider applying primer on only half of the face, to see how it performs on top of skincare.
All of your foundation try on videos make me want them lol, but i basically never wear foundation. I have one from elf and one from the ordinary and i can count on one hand the times I've actually used them. 🙈 But here i am thinking 'ooh i should get this' 🥴 i live in arizona and im just always so sweaty it doesnt make sense for me to use foundation lol
I know what you mean! I didn't wear makeup today, yesterday, or Saturday lol!! I went to beach for part of the weekend I hate wearing makeup while sitting on the beach.

I heard the L’Oréal skin tint is more natural looking? Does anyone know if that’s the case? (It might just be true for dry skin).
I love the loreal nude foundation if that's the one your talking about and I'm 52 and it really looks gorgeous on my dry skin but I think if you use a matte primer underneath you could wear it if your oily and just use powder to set it. I hope that helps
Yes I think it has a more natural finish to it. Both work well for me and my skin type.
So weird. I have 6.5, but now, wherever I look it up, the numbers are totally different. Like I think the 6.5 might be close to 118. Am I looking at the wrong foundation?
It's bcs I bought this foundation from an online store in the UK and those lower shade numbers are what they had. Here in the US the shades start at 100 I think, so I have no clue which shade I am here.

Pretty good "long-lasting" drug store foundation. I kinda liked more the finish with the brush. Maybelline has some goodies like this foundation and their super stay vinyl ink.
I am very pleased with this one. It did well and I hope it goes to Ulta and drugstores soon!
I have the go green one and I love the way it looks on my 52 year old dry skin. Steff I also have the true match, nude and again it looks beautiful on my skin. So I have the loreal nude and the Maybelline green tinted oil and I love both of them. I also picked up the new regular true match but it's a little heavy on my skin. The foundation looks gorgeous on you 😍 but you are gorgeous❤ I am going to pick up the new Maybelline One and ditch the tinted oil one
