    Ian Anderson es un crack. Fue el segundo flautista que conocí después de Fernando Ponce de León (cuando aún era parte de Mägo de Oz). Ya después conocí a flautistas clásicos como James Galway, Davide Formisano, Emmanuel Pahud y otros.

    Ian can play harp!

    • @MrWhiteamin
      @MrWhiteamin Год назад

      I really don't know how to put this , but god damn, he can now. He had short hair and played great guitar, nobody was watching , hearing, I just asked can I step in with some bluesharp. Sure. Just asked for a key, I had had 8 hohner's in my vest. Fuck it , let s go to my place and play, just a holiday flat. We played all night. He woke me up . I might have had his guitar since I was teaching him Blues harp , The sun is shining.he says, lets have some fun. so we dance out into the sun , over the beach between all the sun soakers, him into the ocean lifting the guitar as he submerges . still playin, I couldn't go over my head with a blues harp. Back up, " Holidays over , gotta go" He lifts the sunglasses he never took off, I'd better introduce myself. Ian Anderson, ....... Jan Olsen . If you ever come back from that sailtrip, and to the uk, well forget uk , Europe, phone me . I got a job for you. But htat man is a genius, he plays a lot better than me now, and that song, I hadn't checked him out for years,
      It's what we wre playing pretty close. Love Him , even though I lost his phone number.

      ***** Thanks for the response. But he clearly says "my" and not "our". Nonetheless, you say that Jethro Tull's first album was completely recorded by him? Didn't know that.

    Which harmonic does he use?

    • @RemyTena
      @RemyTena  7 лет назад +1

      I only know that his first harmonica was a "Hohner blues"
      I recommend you look at Jethro Tull's website where he talks about his instruments

    • @joaoguilhermedalmolin4630
      @joaoguilhermedalmolin4630 7 лет назад

      I've looked at his website and it only says that he uses a Hohner Marine Band. However, this is not the harmonica model he is using in this video.

      I play a lot better than he does but it's not about that. It is about his energy and phrasing and how he generates musicality....I love his flute playing as well.

  • @chrissmith5706
    @chrissmith5706 2 года назад

    Sorry, that's really well shy of stellar harmonica playing. It's really kind of maybe 2 notches above Bob Dylan, 1 notch above Van Morrison light years from Paul Butterfield , Little Walter and yours truly
