What a treat. I use to have all their first albums back in my "formative" years. Those were the days bands really sounded different, and they certainly had their thing going strong. I do reminisce those days when there were all kinds of music coming together and accepted as the main stream music.
Sounds better than ever. I liked the first album, Stand Up, and Aqualung the best. The first LP with its roots music. Ian Anderson's cover of Seranade was phenomenal because he did it differently than Rashan Rolland Kirk. Which was not an easy thing to do. He made it his own.
It's a joke - they were fans invited to the occasion and told to mimic the the unenthusiastic reception of the band in it's early days, as Ian described it in the introduction. ;-)
Never should have changed this lineup. They sound great! Love me some Mick and Clive.
It was the bass guitar that attracted me to this band. 'Living in the Past' had this amazing bass line especially towards the end.
Sleep tight Glenn Cornick..You were Amazing.
With all the astounding bands Ian had, this one had the most personality. Nice to see them work together again, even for just a moment.
Great sound from Mick's Yamaha AEX 15 and no keyboards ! Sublime.
Wonderful!
THIS WAS (and always will be) Jethro Tull!
Pretty good seeing it had been over 30 years since the 4 had played together.
This isn't even music from my generation (I'm 29) but Glenn, Clive and Mick have been heroes of mine for 10 years, kid you not!
I'm 17 and this is my jam! Guess we've just found the good stuff.
I am 62.
Overwhelming for me to see them all.
Yey !!
I love the first album

taikoking1 ....used to try and find me without benefit....early tull rocks.
Great version of my favorite song from Jethro's first LP "This Was". That must be Mick Abrams sharing vocals. Great blues harp by Ian.
Ths Was, I love this record.
The boys really cooked on those double time choruses at the end, pros!!
Magic of the highest order.
sorry I missed that.so rare to see.
Some fine harmonica playing there Ian! Mr. R. 🙂🎼
This is the best

The first album is "This Was" with Mick Abraham on guitar."Stand Up" was their second album and Martin Lancelot Barre's first album on guitar.
Thanks for sharing.
Essa é do primeiro disco deles!

Ian fired those other members for petty reasons. I hope they got paid well for this reunion performance.
@kaplinpeter
How long ago was that. I believe he got out of the salmon biz quite a while back.
Does the audience not know who they are priveledgd to be listening too?
