Curse of the Black Pearl is still fantastic. One of the best adventure films of all time, right up there with Raiders of the Lost Ark in my opinion. The set pieces, action choreography, the practical effects, set design, humor and characters are all just delightfully fun. The next 2 are alright. They don't hold a candle to the first, but are still perfectly fun. The 4th and 5th are just terrible and are best left forgotten.

Hans Zimmer gets more credit for the POTC score than he should. That main theme from Klaus Badelt still makes my blood pump faster every time I hear it, getting me ready to go on great adventure...whether at sea, on horseback, or on a dragon soaring through the air. Thank you for this! And at 18:19, I love how the wisps of wind in the animation evoke the running strings being played under that main piece of music. Well done!
I used to think this too, until I found out that Hans Zimmer wrote the vast majority of the main theme, but ran out of time because of another project and gave it to Klaus Badelt to finish off. Klaus did an incredible job finishing the epics of the first movie and deserves huge praise, but Hans had already laid down the motifs and melody for him.
Man I remember going to the midnight premieres for these movies with all my friends dressed as pirates. I remember wishing I could go on an adventure as a pirate. Not much has changed. This music brings all of those memories and feelings back. Thank you
Me and my friends were dressed up as characters from the dsmp during holoween it was amazing we had dream, me george, ranboo, and ghostbur With our special items like the glass the crown, memorie book, blue powder with beeny and I had the mask with the hoody We weren't able to look our best because it was kinda a last minute thing but we plan on doing our best this year Sorry if I specialed some stuff wrong but this is such a happy memorie for me :) Ps I married george later that year

@@jdpragmatic8644 both! I made 2 but in different perspective. First is about a short continuation of Davy Jones defeat and the Flying Dutch Man being swallowed by the whirlpool (POTC 3). He became a normal sailor again and reunited with Calypso in the end. The last is about a Queen of Pirates being challenged by her old friend to defeat a sea monster.
