very helpful - especially the part about hold forever could point you down the wrong road. I guess someone could argue that's it not really forever anyway. Say if you are 40 years old by the time you get involved in stocks by the time you are 80 someone else is probably taking care of your portfolio and hopefully they are making up-to-date decisions.

Hey sorry if it looks like I'm focused on your posts (and I know you are asking Eric). Some factors you can look at are: 1/personal conviction 2/how they are currently positioned against your blueprint- is one undersized or oversized? 3/ Compare their growth performance, and your holding periods- which one will cost you more in taxes to pull the cash out? The actual bet of AAPL vs GOOGL over the next year is a coin flip for me. I'm personally betting that AAPL recovers in some way, but it has serious headwinds to fight through. I consider GOOGL kind of adrift as a company. Just opinion, not advice.

Eric what do you think after today’s dip in NVDA is it a good opportunity to enter ? Or what is your entry pint value for this stock ?
It’s up over 1,600% in 5 years. It was a pine the table buy under $150. It’s difficult now. I still like the company long term, of course, and I think it will go higher with time.
I feel like I have to ask if you advice of putting stop losses on your holdings depending on technical patterns, as a long term investor not a trader. I had PayPal like a year and half ago and when it ripped down I thought I should have had a stop loss applied at a point way over what I sold at!?
Investors don’t use stop losses. That would be a trader’s tool. 👽✌️

No similarities to NVDA.
ADI does analog and mixed-signal devices, power management, radio frequency offerings, and edge processors and sensors.

Another question. Normally ETF price rises every month. So should I wait for to decrease price as it is happening now or should I invest every month regularly no matter price is rising or getting lower?
That’s up to you. If I were just starting out, I would invest every paycheck.

First two might be a large cap index ETF and a cloud ETF rather than stocks. or large cap ETF and QQQM
