I literally looked at 50 videos about the same dishcloth for beginners and I don't think that they really understand the word BEGINNER but thankfully this video while it was still a bit fast for me and I used the pause button so much I think that I broke it! But really coming from an absolute beginner- this is my very first project knitting ever-you really explained and slowed it down enough for me to get it. Thank you so very much❤

I did it. Wooohoooo. First time making a knitted dishcloth. The only other knitted thing I made was just a practice square several months ago. I had to use a different cast on cause I just couldn’t grasp your way. I’m a crocheter for ever but always wanted to learn knit. I think it was Tunisian crochet that helped me understand the concept. Thank you for your video. I did subscribe. Hopefully I can make another one.😊

March 2 2024,,, My first time with you. It’s similar to another one I’ve made in the past.
I’ve been ill for several years with LUPUS. Gave all my supplies away. Now trying to
start. I just wrote you recipe, pattern down. It’s seven pm….
I am 79 and trying to enjoy knitting, even though this is simple, that’s good for me.
Thank you, Have a blessed life, and thank you…🧶🦋🌟🙏😇

I was doing so well until I finished the 48 stitches and ended up with a triangle. I appreciate the teaching a lot but the last few minutes I got lost as as a beginner. But it's free so I can't complain too much! Thanks!

This is a great beginner tutorial. I just made this cloth and it turned out pretty good for a first. You SHOULD have a triangle at 48 stitches because you’re only halfway there. You’re on the increase. Now you need to decrease until you get the other triangle completed and you WILL have a square. I can tell you from experience that knitting on the diagonal makes a much more uniform and attractive stitch. I knit a dish cloth on the straight and the stitches were uneven and resulting cloth just didn’t have that smooth look that this one has. Don’t give up. This project is repetitive enough you will gain mastery and have a nice end result.

Any type of creating something from fabric, yarn, etc makes me feel like I am on death row. It stresses me so much. But a friend told me yesterday about these dishcloths. But you have made it seem sort of simple. I think if I watched you several times, I might could do this. Thanks for your calm and simple instructions in a short video. Jesus bless!

Great tutorial! I've made so many of these as Christmas gifts & smaller baby sized for showers before. For an added touch, I ran some ribbon through the eyelettes and put little gifts in them like hand sanitizer, small liquid soap, chapstick etc. customizing it for the recipient, then I would draw it closed and tie with a bow. For myself, I added some scrubby yarn with the cotton, works awesomely and last a long time! I am about to try your tumbelling moss blocks wash cloth.

I just clicked on it to see and it took a few seconds longer than it should and so the screen stayed black for a bit. Maybe RUclips is having a network issue. Try clicking again. It eventually started to play for me. It shouldn’t be an issue. It’s a public video.
