Thank you, Fil! I was at his concert in Almaty (KZ), last Friday and saw him perform this song live. He screamed his heart out, I think there was no dry eye in the whole stadium. Heartbreaking.
Самая зрелая и значимая работа гения Димаша 💗💗.Вывернул все душу наизнанку, не пел, а просто казнил себя, призывая Мир, людей- остановиться, опомниться, прекратить войны на Планете. Димаш- уже дважды исполнил это великое произведение, первый раз- на концерте перед участниками VII съезда мировых и традиционных религий, где присутствовал Папа Римский, отметивший и наградивший Димаша памятной медалью. И на этом выступлении демонстрировался другой вариант клипа, без военной части. И второй раз- 23 сентября на сольном концерте в Астане. Не дыша и в слезах наблюдали это душераздирающее зрелище, Димаш настолько был эмоционален и выразителен, никогда таким Его не видели. Ваша теория о символах очень логично правильна. На концерте в Алмате...
Доброй ночи) не знала, что до концерта он уже исполнял это произведение, но раз он исполнил это на съезде религий, то это замечательно! Очень символично! А 23 сентября концерт был не в Астане, он был а Алматы у нас😉 и мы слушали это произведение в его исполнении затаив дыхание. Это было невероятно мощно и красиво!🔥🔥🔥 Впервые слышала некоторые звуки и ноты, которые он издавал пропевая эту песню😱😍 он просто отдал всю душу!

And I feel that for Dimash, with the war in Ukraine, was the break point for his anger and sadness to explode with this song. Creo que al mostrar representantes de las religiones o simbolismos, quiere decir que no importa cuál sigas, al final depende del hombre escoger el camino correcto, y por que como nos ha dicho él, Todos somos Uno. Nos estamos volviendo locos, unos contra otros, las guerras en beneficio de unos lideres sedientos de poder, tanta muerte de inocentes...es sangrante 😭 necesitamos hacernos mejores personas, tenemos la obligación moral y humana de dejar un mundo mejor a nuestros hijos y nietos... amar más y odiar menos!
Yo interpreto así: la historia de tres niños, un colgante de amistad cada uno, Dimash y la chica que está pariendo son pareja ya de adultos, con una niña y con otro bebé en camino...el otro amigo es el lider, o flautista de Hamelin, el señor de la guerra...la niña que muere es la hija de Dimash y la chica, el bebé nace al mismo tiempo que muere Dimash...la vida y la muerte.
El Dimash del final, es el bebé ya adulto, un nuevo lider de paz, que nos lleva a todos por un unico camino, bajo un mismo cielo, en paz, amor y armonía
Los que suben la senda, representan a todas las religiones, cristiana, budista, judía, musulmana, etc.
Es estremecedor, lleva tres años con este trabajo, la musica y la idea de como contar la història, es suya... este chico es un verdadero genio 👏👏👏

P.S. the woman giving birth was grown up Dimash's wife (the young girl on the beach), the baby being born as he was dying was Dimash's son. The little girl that was killed was Dimash's daughter - which then created that need to avenge her, even knowing he would die himself.. He thought his wife had been killed also but she was hidden away. His son born amongst war and with his family killed chose peace and to lead all on that path. *JMO* ❤️🤗❤️

It's not the beginning at the end. It's the future. The man at the end man is the baby, the child of the soldier and the mother. It's not our next door neighbor.) Dimash has lived his whole life with the violence of totalitarianism to the north and the violence of religious warfare to the south. The slaughter of innocents has never been far from his doorstep. It's no wonder he is so passionate about this.

Debo decir que desde el viernes que vi partes del concierto de Almaty ,y en particular está hermosa obra de arte, donde Dimash se dejó su alma y su cuerpo en el escenario, no he hecho más que llorar, se lo que es la violencia de la guerra, cuando se pierde familia, amigos, compañeros y hasta desconocidos...y está canción desgarra el alma. And if *anyone* knows how to produce vocal sounds safely, it would be someone with as much professional training as Dimash has. Though you are correct that screaming can harm a singer's voice if they are improperly trained in their technique and using the wrong part of their throat to produce those sounds.

I think Dimash will use every single tool in his vocal toolbox to get across whatever message he wants to convey in a song, whether that's an operatic sound, a more pop sound, vocal fry, or even metal growls or screams. He is like an artist, except instead of choosing from a spectrum of paint colors, he chooses from a spectrum of vocal techniques to create his art.

The symbol that the kid share was the number 4. It has a strong significant in Islam and the Old Testament. Also represents the 4 elements, the phases of the moon, seasons, etc. Piper modified that symbol and it’s no longer a 4. He returns to his city and goes into his building to discover that his daughter was murder. His wife, shown pregnant and holding the girl earlier in the film, is the one having the baby in what looks like a shelter.

Love regardless of race, nationalities, or religious beliefs. We are all one human race....equal ❤️❤️❤️. When he sang this in his Altamy concert last friday he was as we've never seen him....he ripped his heart out during the near ending of "We're Choosing Life" part. It was actually gut wrenching because you know he was NOT acting there...it was just pouring out of his heart in one huge flood 💔😰. I felt exactly the same about this last part during the concert. Normally I am not very emotional, but when I saw him on stage - and you could literally grab his pain - I started crying heavily. It was so heartbreaking😢❤️.

Почему вычищають регионы с населением не российского происхождения и с оккупированных территорий? Это не нацизм? Теперь свой проиграш оправдывают тем, что воюют с НАТО! С хреНАТО они воюют, на территории Украины нет ни одного военного НАТО, есть небольшие формирования иностранцев-добровольцев, с россии в том числе! Да, поставка техники и оружия идёт из-за рубежа, но она тоже не НАТОвская, а как говорится " чем какая страна богата, тем и делится". Каждая страна даёт то, что у неё самой на вооружении, для альянса НАТО идут совсем другие вооружения. Я не знаю, каким воздухом вы там дышите, что становитесь такими имбицилами чуть-ли не поголовно.

Since the start of war, for seven months, I couldn't cry, I got stuck in feeling nothing, just sporadic moments of anger, trying to find little pieces of normal life and sticking to better that every day brings. When I watched Dimash's video for the first time, I wanted to hide, to be in silence, not to talk or listen to anyone. But today, at last, I could cry, I could have tears on the moment when Dimash is crying over a dead girl and woman is crying giving birth to another baby, the music interwoven made me realize something about first and last breaths are accompanied by angelic voice. This masterpiece has so many layers that you should think over and over again. It will take time to comprehend the whole message. And I want to shout out so loud, Dimash, please, be safe, take care, the world needs you.

Przeczytałąm tysiace pochwał na temat tego utworu, ale czy o te pochwały chodziło Dimashowi? Wysłał bardzo mocne przesłanie do ludzi. Bądźcie ponad podziałami. Nie ważny jest kolor skóry, wyznawana religia, przynalezność do innego narodu, ważne jest to że wszyscy jesteśmy ludźmi żyjącymi pod tym samym niebem i na tej samej planecie. Pochodze z kraju, który w swojej historii przeszedł wiele wojen. Był okres że zniknął z map świata, ale się odrodził wysiłkiem wielu ludzi, nie tylko moich rodaków. Outstanding insightful commentary Fil. I would say Dimash is making your same point of us all beginning as innocent children, but also born with the potential to do evil. That we are at a precarious time. That we balance on the edge of a fiery grave. And, we can choose to make a turn from wrong to right. Symbols aren't inherently bad. Humans lean on using metaphors and symbols. It's how we think. It's how we talk. it's how we relate to the world, the universe. It isn't the symbols that are bad. It's just that if elites or others with ill intent can commandeer an existing symbol, then they can control the narrative and also control whole swaths of people. For instance, you say more people have been killed in the name of religion. But I say, those that killed others under that symbol were misusing it. Actually, when you look at who died under Mao and Stalin who were both antireligion... something like 55 million people died from famine directly imposed by those regimes between 1920 and 1960. And that doesn't include war and insurrection or other tortures and boot-to-the-neck tactics. A lot of people died in Kazakstan... starved for no good reason...during that time. So war kills people... people kill people... and bad people will use whatever means necessary to control others including adopting and commandeering long beloved symbols. But Dimash is trying to remind people that we all should try to understand and tolerate others and....like you, he is saying wars have no winners. That we should be having tears and blood in the birth of a new life rather than the tears and blood that come with violent unnecessary death.
One last thing... watch Dimash perform this song live. It is the single most phenomenal thing I've ever seen. The heart he puts into it. The heart he puts into the listener... The man is profoundly amazing!! Beyond any words that I have. Thanks for the reaction Fil ❤
