Thank you for reviewing this. I know people love this but when I looked at the average for longevity on Fragrantica it was an instant no for me. I wish there was a bigger discussion on price point against longevity. I can love a scent all day but if it doesn't last it's a no. I think Delina is a good perfume for people who want a crowd pleaser. Something easy. But for anyone who needs more out of a perfume this isn't it. I will say I think some people dislike this because Demi has put it on the map. I don't think that's your reason because your tastes make it obvious you expect a certain caliber of perfume no matter price point or if others like it. But for others I think it irks them. And they just won't come out and say it, so they "dislike" the perfume. I trust your opinion and I also like that you stress trying it for yourself.
I looove it! I love Delina Exclusif even a bit more. If you don’t like the bitter opening you’d like Exclusif better because it’s gone and replaced with milky smoothness. It’s also longer-lasting on me. I’m obsessed with it. I bought Delina and then sampled Exclusif but I have to control myself because I’m spending too much on fragrance. I actually have never smelled anything else like Delina and I get so many compliments. We all have our own preferences of course.
I understand why people like Delina, it is a very easy to understand and the scent trail is nice, however, when smelled up close there’s something annoying that bothers me throghout the wearing and I needed to wash off every time I sampled. I would say that the entire line of Parfums de Marly causes me the same feeling.

BTW the fogging glasses 👓 thing I’m convinced is an Asian thing because of how close our glasses are to our faces. Used to happen to me all the time! Especially when I go trail running and wear my sunglasses. You can pay to have the anti-fog coat to the lenses and they also sell the spray to defog them.
I don’t own Delina but I have tested it many times. I think that this scent is ordinary in an extraordinary way because it has an edge (not sure because of which note/notes) that other perfumes you mentioned don’t have. At least that’s the case on me. Having said that the price is certainly not justifiable for a fancy packaging. That’s the reason why I never purchased the full bottle.
I was underwhelmed too. It smelled nice but it didn't project strongly enough, it became a skin scent really fast and the sweet notes weren't really noticeable to my nose. I'll finish my sample but I doubt I would spend the money on a bottle. Now Oajan on the other hand was love at first sniff. Unisex but leaning a little masculine. I love it. I'm hoping to get it this fall. Thanks for sharing!

Delina is so so beautiful, got sample before I purchased the full size bottle. Its not so sweet I've had many fragrances channel. Dior. Tommy girl. And this is by far my favourite scent.

I would have to drive to Chicago (about 3 hours depending on traffic) to get a sniff or I will have to buy a sample and have it shipped to me. Either way it is an additional cost and I am on a budget. Therefore, it is nice to hear someone that I have agreed with many times say they aren't crazy about Delina. It means I probably should make trying it a lower priority. If I am in Chicagoland for other reasons I will stop by a Nordstrom and have a sniff but I won't go out of my way to try it. I hope you understand.
BurgundyandBlue1111 I wouldn’t necessarily buy it, but I am on my second sample and I enjoy it. On me it is a linear sweet floral and I do agree that Burberry Her is a nice similar family fragrance, but I do prefer Delina as it’s quality/lasting power is much better. Her smells more generic.

I have both...they do not smell the same at all to my nose. I had Tiffany before Delina. I wouldn't have spent the money for Delina if they had been similar. If I had to choose one over the other it would be Delina 100%. Very long lasting whereas I don't get more than a few hours with Tiffany. And that is layering with the lotion. Just my thoughts.

i have delina, and it does nothing great on my skin. if i want a nice LIGHT rose scent or fruity scent , i use louis vuitton rose des vents. but i definitely don’t get anything synthetic in this scent. just wished i didn’t blind buy.

I must absolutely looove the perfumes I buy, primarily because I don't have an infinite budget, I have to be very selective, I bought 5 perfumes all at once the other day, which I used to love 10 years ago but I realise I only truly loved one of them which was The One by Dolce & Gabbana. Now, I can't be faithful to just one perfume so I'm looking for scents that blow me away and it's fun to orders the samples, it's a cheaper way of getting to know a large variety of fragrances instead of buying full bottles, I have shortlisted some fragrances but I need to retest them to see if I allow them to be part of the club lol.
I got this and it smells nice ITS A VERY NICE FRAGANCE but but but i dont like rose fragances at all myself and i get that the turkish rose on delina stands out too much. for someone who doesnt appreciatte this type of smell it could make u dizzy, but if you do like rose smell you will like this pefume, I recommend florabotanica by balenciaga instead they arent similar on the opening but they are on the dry down without the rose if you know what I mean.
I really think we have extremely similar tastes in perfumes. I'm just going to just listen to your recs instead of others. So far, I've loved all the ones you love, and dislike the ones you aren't fond of. I tried this due to the raving reviews and recommendations, and was underwhelmed.
My boyfriend said: I love Delina on you. I love Delina Exclusif when you walk by. 😂🙈 I love both. The first one smells like a classy young lady. Smells care-free and luxurious. The second one smells like dolls to me😂❤ and the oud in it is perfect for people who are not fans of strong oud.😍
This isn’t my favorite floral perfume, I prefer rose like Stella without the fruitiness, but I wanted to say this perfume is extremely linear on me and long lasting. But probably won’t buy. I find it interesting how skin chemistry changes how perfumes smell, and overall I think I understand your note about it being metallic, I just got a sample pack of Montale Roses & Flowers, but I don’t mind it. I heard another reviewer say Shalimar Souffle is metallic but it’s my current favorite.
I heard Demi Rawlings rave about it and got myself a sample. So, I too smell some sort of metallic overtone, and I straight up dislike this scent. The frustrating thing is I can’t figure out why. Is it a specific note? I don’t really know what rhubarb smells like, I guess it’s supposed to be tart... I don’t really get anything tart in the opening. To me, it’s a screechy white floral. Perhaps white florals are not my thing? But I like MFK Acqua Universalis Forte a lot, and it has white florals i think. So no idea why exactly, but I was expecting to fall head over heels with Delina based on rave revue, and I can’t even bring myself to use up the rest of my sample 😒😷🤦🏼♀️
I blind bought and I was waiting to be whoa.. to walk on beauty clouds ... it’s been three days that I’ve been using it everyday .. still not whoa... still no clouds or garden of pink roses ..
Delina is not my cup of tea. The only women's fragrance from Parfums de Marly I like is Darcy. Not fond of their women's fragrances. Now, their men's perfume line is Aaaamazing!
Thank you for your honest review. I did not like this perfume. It is overly sweet for my taste. I am disappointed of the smell, because there are a lot of people who review this fragrance and talk wonders of it. I thought it was going to be amazing, and my new signature perfume. I am glad I bought a small sample and did not este my money on it. I will keep looking for that amazing fragrance though.
There is a prominent RUclipsr who RAVES about this. She has very different tastes to me, and her incessant mentions of it has put me off it for life. I have no desire to try it at all.
Ha-ha, I know who you're talking about! I tried Delina Exclusif because she reviewed it favorably and it made me dry heave, LOL. I actually fell in love with the opening (the most gorgeous rose/vanilla/litchi combination I've ever smelled in my life) and I was about to reach into my savings to buy a bottle when I was hit with that oud note and...that's all she wrote, LOL! Oud is a horror story to my nose, filled with nasty horse stalls, a sweltering petting zoo and the nasty underwear of the town tramp all rolled into one. 🤢🤢🤢 I just want that opening because it was so beautiful and juicy (the rose smelled edible because of the vanilla and litchi combo), but I cannot deal with that horrific oud note, not to mention the most mouth-puckeringly tart rhubarb note I've ever smelled (it's not listed as a note on Fragrantica where I generally check fragrances out, but I swear it's there in a huge way). I do still want to try Delina to see how it compares, but I'm not in a hurry to do so.
How bout meliora..i guess any frags should be tested on skin..because it ll be so much differ sparying it on skin n on paper..dont u think? I wanted to buy delina but i havent find any samples yet..
I got a discovery set from their website for $32. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the exclusif, sedbury, not cassili. But one of the free samples I received was cassili só now I need to get my nose on Delina Exclusif and Sedbury.
I really like Delina but there’s one thing that stopped me from buying a bottle and that is because for a couple of times that I’ve tested it on my skin each and every time it gives me a headache 🤕 and that makes me 😔 sad. I don’t know what’s the note in Delina that gives me headache.
I don't like Delina at all...I had to wash it off..so disturbing, so scratchy for me :( It is amazing how different the tastes of all if us are..I am happy to see a reviewer who doesn't hyphe Delina and Feve Deliciouse, so I don't feel out of this planet
If I smelled this without seeing the brand, I would have thought that this was a designer brand and not a niche. I get how other reviewers love this as the scent is commercially appealing. I don't like its rhubarb, tarty aka screechy smell though. It's a NO for me as well, unfortunately.
Smells to me like Goodgirl but a friendlier version, I don't know what is that reminds me of Goodgirl. I am not that familiar with notes. I glad I only bought a sample, and even that it just sitting there. I am not into it, I don't know why. Thank you for your review 👍😊
The very popular fragrances I don’t like are: D&G Light Blue: smells like sharp rotten lemon candy to me, and the Dior Poison ones that are so popular I just don’t get. They’re so synthetic to my nose. I like Burberry Her but I think it’s too sweet for me.
Layered to a very good dupe for Delina called Frst Kiss and Alexandra do one called Lady Diana....I adore Delina Exclusif but bought samples from Ebay to really give it a try out. Delina Exclusif is much softer as the rhubarb note is tones right back x
No Delina and Delina exclusiv are not worth the money at all. I do think it’s a pretty scent it seems like a easy going designer type scent designer exclusiv with decent sillage and long lasting definitely not bottle worthy I think for some who tested this prior to other niche parfums they prob thought it was good until they were gifted better frags. Like another reviewer who raves about it she didn’t buy any of the pdm bottles they were given to her so there you go. Pdm has other better fragrances in their line up

I bought a decant of Delina. Its so sharp to me that i could never wear it. I thought maybe it was just me, so I asked everyone close to me and at work to give it a sniff. ONE lady said, "it's ok" everyone else said noooo, its awful :( glad i didnt love it.
I don't get the hype either for Delina. It is nice but nothing special. Definitely not special enough for that price. It reminds me so much of something I've smelled before.

I did not like delina and was really disappointed. way too sweet and reminds me when I blind bought a cheap perfume, smells just like it I had to throw it in the trash. Reminds me of like bad choices drinking and partying hang over, does not smell high end or designer.

I disagree. It’s a fragrance for few people, but of course, most are used to very popular fragrances and won’t “see” the beauty that Delina is. It’s definitely a work of art in form of scents, but well, not everyone understands and appreciates art.

Well the appeal people could have on certain fragrances is mostly because they have already spent 200-300 dollars or euros on this perfume so they force themselves to like it lol 😩😭😂

Delina reminds me of the original Chloè. I have a full bottle that I purchased a few years ago.

I must absolutely looove the perfumes I buy, primarily because I don't have an infinite budget, I have to be very selective, I bought 5 perfumes all at once the other day, which I used to love 10 years ago but I realise I only truly loved one of them which was The One by Dolce & Gabbana. Now, I can't be faithful to just one perfume so I'm looking for scents that blow me away and it's fun to orders the samples, it's a cheaper way of getting to know a large variety of fragrances instead of buying full bottles, I have shortlisted some fragrances but I need to retest them to see if I allow them to be part of the club lol.
It smells like Chloe original to me. If you guys crave for this kind of perfume buy Powdery magnolia by Zara
Can you tell much about the scent by sniffing it on a paper? Wonder as I find it so unreliable and prefer to see what people smell like on skin.
This was tested on my skin several times. Spraying on paper in the video is just so I can get whiffs of it while I speak about it. :)

I got this and it smells nice ITS A VERY NICE FRAGANCE but but but i dont like rose fragances at all myself and i get that the turkish rose on delina stands out too much. for someone who doesnt appreciatte this type of smell it could make u dizzy, but if you do like rose smell you will like this pefume, I recommend florabotanica by balenciaga instead they arent similar on the opening but they are on the dry down without the rose if you know what I
mean.

I really think we have extremely similar tastes in perfumes. I'm just going to just listen to your recs instead of others. So far, I've loved all the ones you love, and dislike the ones you aren't fond of. I tried this due to the raving reviews and recommendations, and was underwhelmed.

This isn’t my favorite floral perfume, I prefer rose like Stella without the fruitiness, but I wanted to say this perfume is extremely linear on me and long lasting. But probably won’t buy.
I find it interesting how skin chemistry changes how perfumes smell, and overall I think I understand your note about it being metallic, I just got a sample pack of Montale Roses & Flowers, but I don’t mind it. I heard another reviewer say Shalimar Souffle is metallic but it’s my current favorite.
I heard Demi Rawlings rave about it and got myself a sample. So, I too smell some sort of metallic overtone, and I straight up dislike this scent. The frustrating thing is I can’t figure out why. Is it a specific note? I don’t really know what rhubarb smells like, I guess it’s supposed to be tart... I don’t really get anything tart in the opening. To me, it’s a screechy white floral. Perhaps white florals are not my thing? But I like MFK Acqua Universalis Forte a lot, and it has white florals i think. So no idea why exactly, but I was expecting to fall head over heels with Delina based on rave revue, and I can’t even bring myself to use up the rest of my sample 😒😷🤦🏼♀️

Delina is not my cup of tea. The only women's fragrance from Parfums de Marly I like is Darcy. Not fond of their women's fragrances. Now, their men's perfume line is Aaaamazing!

is it the rhubarb in it?...I disliked Burberry brit red for the same reason...the rhubarb made it smell kinda overdone and definitely not natural..
I tried a sample of this, and it was just ok. I wasn't blown away either. To me, it's not full bottle worthy.
Thank you for your honest review. I did not like this perfume. It is overly sweet for my taste. I am disappointed of the smell, because there are a lot of people who review this fragrance and talk wonders of it. I thought it was going to be amazing, and my new signature perfume. I am glad I bought a small sample and did not este my money on it. I will keep looking for that amazing fragrance though.

There is a prominent RUclipsr who RAVES about this. She has very different tastes to me, and her incessant mentions of it has put me off it for life. I have no desire to try it at all.

Ha-ha, I know who you're talking about! I tried Delina Exclusif because she reviewed it favorably and it made me dry heave, LOL. I actually fell in love with the opening (the most gorgeous rose/vanilla/litchi combination I've ever smelled in my life) and I was about to reach into my savings to buy a bottle when I was hit with that oud note and...that's all she wrote, LOL! Oud is a horror story to my nose, filled with nasty horse stalls, a sweltering petting zoo and the nasty underwear of the town tramp all rolled into one. 🤢🤢🤢 I just want that opening because it was so beautiful and juicy (the rose smelled edible because of the vanilla and litchi combo), but I cannot deal with that horrific oud note, not to mention the most mouth-puckeringly tart rhubarb note I've ever smelled (it's not listed as a note on Fragrantica where I generally check fragrances out, but I swear it's there in a huge way). I do still want to try Delina to see how it compares, but I'm not in a hurry to do so.

I got a discovery set from their website for $32. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the exclusif, sedbury, not cassili. But one of the free samples I received was cassili só now I need to get my nose on Delina Exclusif and Sedbury.
I really like Delina but there’s one thing that stopped me from buying a bottle and that is because for a couple of times that I’ve tested it on my skin each and every time it gives me a headache 🤕 and that makes me 😔 sad. I don’t know what’s the note in Delina that gives me headache.
I don't like Delina at all...I had to wash it off..so disturbing, so scratchy for me :( It is amazing how different the tastes of all if us are..I am happy to see a reviewer who doesn't hyphe Delina and Feve Deliciouse, so I don't feel out of this planet
If I smelled this without seeing the brand, I would have thought that this was a designer brand and not a niche. I get how other reviewers love this as the scent is commercially appealing. I don't like its rhubarb, tarty aka screechy smell though. It's a NO for me as well, unfortunately.

Smells to me like Goodgirl but a friendlier version, I don't know what is that reminds me of Goodgirl. I am not that familiar with notes. I glad I only bought a sample, and even that it just sitting there. I am not into it, I don't know why.

The very popular fragrances I don’t like are: D&G Light Blue: smells like sharp rotten lemon candy to me, and the Dior Poison ones that are so popular I just don’t get. They’re so synthetic to my nose.

Layered to a very good dupe for Delina called Frst Kiss and Alexandra do one called Lady Diana....I adore Delina Exclusif but bought samples from Ebay to really give it a try out. Delina Exclusif is much softer as the rhubarb note is tones right back x
No Delina and Delina exclusiv are not worth the money at all. I do think it’s a pretty scent it seems like a easy going designer type scent designer exclusiv with decent sillage and long lasting definitely not bottle worthy I think for some who tested this prior to other niche parfums they prob thought it was good until they were gifted better frags. Like another reviewer who raves about it she didn’t buy any of the pdm bottles they were given to her so there you go. Pdm has other better fragrances in their line up

Extremely disappointed that it doesn’t last. Thank goodness I bought it at a perfume discounter. I would have died if I had paid the full price. The Exclusif version is better.

I bought a decant of Delina. Its so sharp to me that i could never wear it. I thought maybe it was just me, so I asked everyone close to me and at work to give it a sniff. ONE lady said, "it's ok" everyone else said noooo, its awful :( glad i didnt love it.

I tried Delina and I don’t think is worth the money , nothing special and very expensive and it did not last 5 hours on my skin not good performance.
I really prefer Nasamotto's Narcotic Venus to Delina !
