I have both the original Delina and Delina Exclusif. And personally I prefer Delina Exclusif over the original one just because I find the exclusif one is much sweeter. But the fact that I have the perfumes already doesn’t stop me from watching your video!!

To make the collection complete, they need to have a bottle in Jasper blue, which is very reminiscent of that time period, perhaps with notes of either lavender or violet.

I really didn’t like delina or the exclusif but I absolutely love Cassili!!! It’s interesting how fragrance really is subjective because contrary to your description I did get heavy incense from both delina and exclusif and a strong pink peppery vibe to the point where I gave them away. Cassili I can wear year round 👌🏻

You could try Be Layered. They have a dupe of Delina for around 40 USD. I’ve tried a few of their dupes and ended purchasing the original fragrance and they’re right on the head.
I got a new bottle of Delina Exclusif which I adore (but cost over £180). but wanted Delina too , so I got 3 x 10m travel sprays which were £60.00 on Notino which saves buying a 75ml bottle....x
Delina exclusif is beautiful. I can still smell it on my jacket after 3 weeks. Good things come in small packages with a high price tag. I would like to try the one in the yellow bottle before I make a purchase. I buy my parfum in the UK or Paris, prices are better than in the US. Thanks for sharing and educating us in the history.
I was very much impressed by Delina when I first tried it and I would buy it right away if not the price, and I decided I'll save up for it, but that lasted only 10 minutes on me, everything after that was just heavy, almost (maybe not almost) arabic rose... and that lasted for hours! I can smell Delina in a room even the person who wore it left a few minutes ago. This is insane. I truly think we don't need SUCH strong perfumes. This is too much.
Surprisingly, some of them picked my interest ! Cassili especialy, and also Saffanad, and maaaybe Delina Exclusive. This vanilla biscuityness interests me a lot. 😊😊😊
I have Delina and it’s body cream which I love. If I’m just running errands I would wear the body cream and Replica’s By The Fireplace. If I am meeting someone I wear the body cream and the parfum. I didn’t like Cassili too sweet but can tolerate it when I layer it with meliora also from PdM.
Have you just tried it once or have you worn it for a week or so? I tried PDM Layton and didn’t like it at first, but tried it for a week and grew to love it! Now it’s one of my favourites of all time..
I just bought the Delina exclusive. I have the two Belayered Dupes and liked the First Kiss exclusive better than the First Kiss. They are good dupes, especially the First Kiss exclusive, if you like gourmands and can’t afford the real thing. They made me want the real thing, more than ever, once I tried samples, because of the Delina refinement. As far as the French court, despite the majestic Versailles, which I have been to, had the pretty disgusting habit of very infrequent bathing, lack of antiperspirant and, according to history, the men urinating indoors in the corner. I traveled to Russia once and saw a movie, that was made in a different language than Russian ( it was dubbed), that tried to show how the French court authentically lived. It was difficult to watch, with the bald heads ( powdered wigs worn otherwise), I guess because of lice, white powdered faces ( their makeup had lead in it), weird , pasted on, beauty marks( used to hide scarring from smallpox, and blackened and disgusting teeth from the sort of dental care available. It was difficult to follow the story because the appalling appearance of everybody. I don’t care for that much authenticity. I am only human in desiring to look at pleasant, if not beautiful, people.

Even more shocked that they didn't give her the chance to try the new Delina La Rosee flanker, which is said to be lighter than the original Delina. Could also mention Darcy, which to me is just a gloriously expensive way to pay for either Coco Mademoiselle or Miss Dior. Also, special shout out to Pegasus. Although this is marketed as a masculine, it is nothing more than a seriously souped up, highly turbocharged version of Hypnotic Poison.

Louis the 16th was with Marie Antoinette and caused all the problems that resulted in revolution. As a former dancer and ballet instructor I know way too much about Louis XIV 😆
The issues with Louis XVI were not only because of Marie Antoinette and himself. He inherited a broken system and the french royalty had been in debt and deep in deadly wars for a long time. Also, it was also a revolution against the clergy ...

How do you purchase tiny samples? Even from other brands I hear people get tiny samples but never know where from and how would one know the content is original.
There are a lot of reputable places (on-line) that sell samples: Lucky Scent, The Perfumed Court, and Scent Split are three I use on a regular basis. Also FragranceNet and FragranceX have carded samples of mostly designer but some niche

I agree. For that price range you should get something way fancier.
If you think that's bad, try Creed. All you get there is a plain cardboard box with a little card inside - and no cellophane wrapping! And they're even more expensive!
