Perhaps we need an update here because I visited Varanasi few days ago (it's my native place) after three years. I believe Modi has done a really good job because varanasi has shown considerable improvrment in terms of sanitation. To keep such a densely populated city which is also a major site of pilgrimage so neat (very neat infact) is no less than a Herculean task and Modi has brilliantly done it. Mr Rathi I really appreciate your work. This video gave me a wholesome idea about the matter. I would like to thank you for bringing the dark side out in light.

I went to Varanasi this year, like i have been going every year on Shivratri since almost 7-8 years. It is definitely cleaner, and more hospitable now and it is improving but the improvements are gradual. One major problem I can particularly call out is the fact that people of Varanasi don't give the city the kind of respect it deserves. Youc an clean the roads hundred times a day but it won't be clean till you stop littering. It won't be peaceful if you don't stop honking. It won't develop, till you adopt the growth mindset over entitlement and complacence. However, the bottomline is my attitude towards Varansi has gone from "hopelessness" to "not being good enough" which is definitely progress. From 1/10 to 2/10.

I visited Varanasi recently with some of my foreigners guests. And they like it very much. Traffic is a problem there because of narrow roads and lane but may be this corridor project will help it for tourists especially. One thing I want to mention VIKAS is a very very gradual process. One cannot measure it with the scale of 5 years. Even in that scale some people are saying VIKAS HUA HAI. so let’s focus on positive part and VOTE FOR MODI. 🙏🏻

Yes, I'm from U.P. not from Varanasi specifically, still i can relate to all these emotions and can vouch for this ground reality which is getting worse day by day, all the problems like sewerage, street lights, roads, water, electricity and most importantly Education is of major concern, and no one is paying attention towards them. I'm very thankful to you Dhruv for giving these insights, all the people from village were speaking by heart and totally relatable. I can understand all the emotions by the lady showing disappointment and as it's my native language I can see how they feel emotionally betrayed.

Perhaps we need an update here because I visited Varanasi few days ago (it's my native place) after three years. I believe Modi has done a really good job because varanasi has shown considerable improvrment in terms of sanitation. To keep such a densely populated city which is also a major site of pilgrimage so neat (very neat infact) is no less than a Herculean task and Modi has brilliantly done it. Mr Rathi I really appreciate your work. This video gave me a wholesome idea about the matter. I would like to thank you for bringing the dark side out in light.

I went to Varanasi this year, like i have been going every year on Shivratri since almost 7-8 years. It is definitely cleaner, and more hospitable now and it is improving but the improvements are gradual. One major problem I can particularly call out is the fact that people of Varanasi don't give the city the kind of respect it deserves. Youc an clean the roads hundred times a day but it won't be clean till you stop littering. It won't be peaceful if you don't stop honking. It won't develop, till you adopt the growth mindset over entitlement and complacence. However, the bottomline is my attitude towards Varansi has gone from "hopelessness" to "not being good enough" which is definitely progress. From 1/10 to 2/10.

I visited Varanasi recently with some of my foreigners guests. And they like it very much. Traffic is a problem there because of narrow roads and lane but may be this corridor project will help it for tourists especially. One thing I want to mention VIKAS is a very very gradual process. One cannot measure it with the scale of 5 years. Even in that scale some people are saying VIKAS HUA HAI. so let’s focus on positive part and VOTE FOR MODI. 🙏🏻

Yes, I'm from U.P. not from Varanasi specifically, still i can relate to all these emotions and can vouch for this ground reality which is getting worse day by day, all the problems like sewerage, street lights, roads, water, electricity and most importantly Education is of major concern, and no one is paying attention towards them. I'm very thankful to you Dhruv for giving these insights, all the people from village were speaking by heart and totally relatable. I can understand all the emotions by the lady showing disappointment and as it's my native language I can see how they feel emotionally betrayed.
