This week at the chateau, while out on a trip to one beautiful chateau the family get lost and manage to stubble across another chateau. This stunning building has just been forgotten and stuck in time, with its striking facade and imposing turrets, this abandoned beauty was a true delight to stubble across.
After a visit to one abandoned chateau we carried on to the stunning Chateau de la Ferte, a beautiful place owned by the wonderful Carole & Adrian, if you have not discovered there chateau then check it out at ‪@LifeAfterLaFerté‬
While at le Ferte, the family have a tour of this beautiful building plus collect some of the bamboo for Lalacelle.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.
