I was feeling pretty sad some nights ago. My depression had just started setting in once again, and the full seton worthlessness was sinking in. I sat down and just listened to this album twice in a row. I gotta say, this is incredible to just listen to and reflect upon yourself with. Ended up falling asleep to track 6, Glaneurs. Wonderful job, satanicpornocultshop. よくやった。
this is my magical home time music. from the first listen, this nestled into my heart and has been there ever since. came for the mbv cover, stayed, and keep returning, for satanicpornocultshop.
Igorrr is the beAst! Everything he does or collabs in is fantastic but Satanicpornocultshop predates Igorrr for a few years so... he'd be their son, not the other way around.
The other SPCS albums dont do much for me but this one... masterpiece. Just the right balance between madness and hits in the feels. Surreal, soothing, suprising, funny... love it so much
Mesmerizing style... Especially the first track "Next Year's Snow" and its reprises, those are truly haunting! The cover versions have a comedic quality as well. Making up genre names is redundant and particularly irrelevant, but it's also fun - how about: Acoustic Glitch Funk :-P

It's a story of king, people, birds, and the rise and fall of the nation and a lot of record sampling in the collage like a palace in financial failure age."
This music is like soap to me, while you think you get the code and can enjoy a sound ...swift it escape from your hands and go elsewhere. You can never be in a safe zone, you have to struggle to follow it. But it's so worth :) Maybe that's an analogy for life, always struggling but worth it

if it's still relevant, try Diablo Swing Orchestra, Corpo Mente, Öxxö Xööx and Igorrr :) I'd recommend the most DSO
It's bricolage but that doesn't really pin down the sound. I don't think you'd be able to find an album quite like this one though.
