It's been almost a year since I started my journey with these. My feet still feel awesome and my toes can spread out way further, which before I started this, I struggled to even move my big toes. Here's something that makes me even happier. Now my grandparents have their own Xero shoes. At first, they were iffy about them, especially my grandpa, but after some time, they finally looked into it and finally decided to give them a try. They both love them! Thing about my grandpa is that he was a really good runner in his youth. He'd run lots of marathons and win races. He was super passionate about it. Then, surprise, in the 70s around the time the "running shoe" was born, he started having trouble and after a bad knee injury from soccer, he couldn't run anymore. He's now 73. He has a replaced knee, replaced shoulder, had spine surgery, flat feet, and has bunions. He's always had trouble walking, especially in shoes. He got his xero shoes and he quickly said he loves walking in them. Which was really surprising for me to hear, because he's not easy to please! So many thanks to you, Xero shoes!
I've worn these types of shoes for 2 months now, at first my feet, ankles, knees and hips hurt. But I stuck with it and in such a short time my balance got better, my running got better, I can stand longer in the day, and my feet don't hurt after a long day of work. Who the hell knew that barefoot shoes would be more comfortable
I did the same thing! You have to stick with it and wake up the sleeping muscles. My posture is already changing like really fast. And no more feet aches at the end of the day.
I’m currently 19, and since I was 17 I had HORRIBLE shin splints along with some back pain. I would have to wait weeks just for it to go away only for it to IMMEDIATELY flare up again, which was annoying as hell. Thought I would have to give up running for good. Then I found out about these shoes and heard so many good things about it, so I gave it a go. It’s been almost 2 months now, and there isn’t a TRACE of shin splints left in my legs. No back pain either. Glad I found out about these while I’m still young. Definitely gonna wear these for the rest of my life.
Me too i was 17 last year i started wearing barefoot and now im 18 stil wearing it . I turn 19 on June 30th and my desicion is to stay barefoot Shoes forever 🎉🩰🙌
Like some others mentioned, I almost never pay any attention to RUclips ads. But for some reason, this one caught my attention. At the time, I had never even considered barefoot shoes, but I still found this very interesting. Long story, but I bought the Xero HFS shoes as I was dealing with some ongoing foot issues and dealing with a related foot injury. A family member had recommended these and I remembered the ad. :) It took some time getting used to them. But I could tell my feet were getting stronger. After about 3 weeks, I was wearing them for everything but running. Once I finished rehab for the injury, I started introducing them into my running. I'm up to 20 minutes of running in these, twice a week. It's a gradual increase, but I'm hoping to eventually phase out my other running shoes. Anyway, I'm sold. In fact, I just ordered a pair of the Melbourne boots and they're supposed to arrive today. Keep up the good work!
It's the guy in the add. Something about him is so trustworthy and genuine. Like he could be your best friend or favoriteneighbor. He's just got such a feel good vibe about him. I could listen to him all day.
@@GameChanger597 I know I had these shoes for a few years now and still stop to watch his ads every time they come on. I just love the ad and I can't completely understand why. I really think Steven is just an amazing person.
I can honestly attest to what this man is saying, these shoes really are comfortable and game changing. Having extra wide feet makes shoe shopping challenging and I always ended up buying painful shoes. I no longer hurt after purchasing xero shoes. My feet get he support they need to go for 3 mile walks.
Love my Xero Trail running shoes. I've been a Manual Therapist for 8 years now, this guy knows his stuff! Awaken the neuroreceptors in your feet by going barefoot, wearing minimal shoes, going for walks through dry river beds
Hey man, just wanted to tell you that your ad was the first ad that I’ve ever actually watched through to the end without clicking “skip.” Good stuff 👍
You have a smooth soothing voice. I always watch your ads all the way thru. I've told my dad about you bc he has feet problems and hard time finding supportive shoes. I'm going to buy him and myself a pair. The science behind them and the easy explanation just makes sense to me.
I’ve been working out with these shoes for two months now. Love them! I wear them all day….just not to mow the lawn. I don’t want them turning green! 😂
After 3 months of rehabilitating my feet and running form in these shoes, I went from hardly being able to run a mile without shin pain, to running 10 kilometers on a regular basis without trouble. Running is so therapeutic now. One of the best things is when you're running during a gorgeous sunset, and then as you're running back home, it gets dark, and then you come home to mom's awesome cooking.
I love entrepreneurs like you. Thank you very much for this informative advertisement. I recently hurt my foot and while some people think I should put my foot into a walking boot my intuition tells me I need a product like this so that my foot can be more responsive and more aware.
I used to have pain in my feet so bad it would keep me up at night. I work long hours. And before I found zero shoes my feet were in constant pain. After I got a pair, my feet quit hurting. I've been wearing them for years now. 16 hour shifts in nursing doesn't bother me anymore. At the end of the day my feet still do not hurt. It really is life changing. I thought I'd try a different brand of minimal shoe, and my feet started hurting again almost immediately and I had to switch back. Idk exactly what makes zero shoes so different but I can't live without them. My feet are happy and that makes me happy.
I actually sat through the 4 minute ad on another video then came straight here😂 I’ve struggled with plantar fasciitis all my life and I’ve seen a few surgeons, I really wanna see how this shoe works out for me tho maybe it’ll help! The presentation of this product was very informative, loved it!
Root Cause and Cure for Plantar Fasciitis ruclips.net/video/5nOATly3j9U/видео.html ruclips.net/video/mPMvVMayCFo/видео.html Im sure Xero shoes would be beneficial but treat the core issue first.
My wife and I just got our Xero shoes and I cannot heap enough praise on them!! From the first moment I put them on, they are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I ran XC in college a long time ago. Ruptured L5-S1 over 10 years ago and had to stop running. I am actually think you may a have given me that back. I'll let you know, but even the thought is very exciting. THANK YOU!!! Rick P.S. - my first purchase was the Mesa Trail.
While doing CrossFit I was introduced to minimalist shoes by the instructor. I bought a pair of merrell shoes and I love them. I purchased my merrell shoes in 2017 and I still have them and use them for working out and running. My feet and ankles feel a lot stronger. And now I’ll be buying Xero Shoes and give them a try.
~3 months into running/walking and playing Tennis in a pair of HFS2's, immediately became my favorite shoe of all time, after 35 years of running, lifting weights, and other mixed sports. This year I will slowly rotate my entire wardrobe of (non-dress) shoes to Xeros, can't recommend them enough!
Several years ago I watched a documentary about the Red Canyon Indians in Mexico which led me to rethink what I put on my feet I am now using one of your pairs of shoes at my gym I tried to explain to my personal trainer about how I want to try to make my feet stronger and to function better. the reply I got was I never thought about making feet stronger. Also I try to explain how I am trying to change my mechanics of running landing on the ball of my foot not the heel and the personal trainers totally reject this form of running. Every week I make improvements on distance and feeling better when I'm done so I'm going to keep buying your shoes and I just received a pair of your sandals in the mail from REI can't wait to try them out thank you for making a great product
2 days ago I helped load 800 straw bails from a field onto a trailer and then stack those 800 bails into a quanzit wearing my HFS Xero shoes. I'm 36, over weight and out of shape, so my body has been aching since, but not my feet. Even after all that my feet felt great. Likewise, a normal day of work has me standing still almost all day and my feet always used to ache, not just in the evening after work, but even in the morning the next day. They don't ache anymore. I admit my first 3 days although I enjoyed the mindfulness of feeling the ground beneath me, my ankles were so stiff because I had not been using them properly for most of my life and then all of a sudden I was. The first week left my foot muscles behind my toes irritated and sore. But now that my feet have gotten into shape, I have much less pain then ever, and it's not because they are being supported, but rather because my feet are now working the way they have been made to. From Canada, thanks again Xero Shoes. Lorne
Now that’s how to advertise your product! I’m going to buy a pair and give them a try, I have found in recent years my toes are becoming more and more squashed together and now my big toe is beginning to buckle sideways under pressure, I’m 30yo so I’m hoping it’s not too late to start reversing the damage wearing steel toe and steel sole work boots 12 hours a day has done.
I have worn a pair of Xero HFS at the gym for about a year. It took a little bit to get used to but now.....easy 7 mile walk/runs and my legs are tired but not my feet. Ordering a pair of hiring boots for this year. Excited to do some extended hikes without the foot pain. Thank you for a great product!
Great company and shoes. I have bought about a dozen pairs over the years (my wife wears the prios at her nursing job and has for about 4 years now). Vibrams are still my number one shoes because they are the closest to barefoot you can get with some protection. But sometimes your want boots, shoes, or sandals and Xero is the best at that.

your ad sold me with a great pitch and explanation! I am usually skeptical of seeing these ads on facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. but this was different...and now I'm anxiously awaiting my pair of the "Toronto" model - which I plan to do a full review on, on my channel here on youtube :)
@@neonknight5857 you should go to an adidas store and try on a pair of ultra boosts, then come talk to me about how far I could run if my feet didn’t hurt. Cuz it’s the most unrivaled comfortable shoe every sneaker head should own
@@JC-rp6sp Nah. Heel drop, toe spring, small toe box. It's not for me. It does look comfy though, if one's feet are used to traditionally shaped shoes.
@@neonknight5857 my mom exclusively wears the flattest Sandles because she doesn’t like wearing shoes, she also things they’re uncomfortable until I showed her these. I’m not even joking with you when I tell you she only wants these shoes and anything related to them. It feels like a cloud on your feet because of the boost technology
you have a great point about that kid thing. i see kids at the playground running…and running…and running. they just keep going! before i stopped wearing the modern shoe, i was like “how do kids not get shin splints, or any pain at all?” and the answer was that they hardly wear shoes at all. i realize that when i was a kid i always hated wearing shoes. after wearing them into my teens, i started having back pain, and i had no clue why. then i discovered barefoot shoes. after i tried them for a while, my foot pain went away, my knee pain went away, my shin splints went away, my back pain went away. everything just made so much sense. i will never go back to those horrible cushioned shoes. i either wear barefoot shoes, or no shoes at all.
Minimal shoes have been one of the BEST things we've ever done. My husband broke his toe, and finally asked for me to get him a pair of those "barefoot" shoes I have been wearing for a few years now (I have two pairs at all times). He loved them so much, he asked me to buy him a second pair of work boots for his job. Now, the kids are stealing our pairs, so I guess we will have to get everyone a pair of their own.
I have been wearing the Oswego for about a month now….,I can’t wear other shoes now….I went to a “normal” shoe and I felt like it was squishing my feet. I play pickleball and those shoes are so tight now. I thought they would be uncomfortable but they are the most comfortable shoes I have worn…so I ordered some 360s and prio all days…..I can’t wait for them to get here.
Thanks so much for this video, it's the reason I bought a pair of Xero shoes and have only had them since last night, but I like them so far and tonight will give them a workout when I go for an hour long walk.
@@NickIntoTech they turned out pretty good. Just takes a little bit of time to get used to the shoes. I got a pair for my mom soon after and she loves them. They fit a little tight at first, because my mom has wide feet, but now she gets them on and has better balance and can feel the ground better and she has diabetes with neuropathy and her feet get numb, so these shoes are the best for her. She is 83 years old. She can't recommend these enough.
I have cervical spondylitis, and stenosis of both the cervical and lumbar spine due to my military service at 23 years old. Wearing these types of shoes actually allowed to go on long hikes again or even walk city sidewalks without my neck taking the kinetic energy shock I was getting with other shoes
Within the the last four months I got a pair of earth runner sandals. I like them and the whole grounding aspect is awesome. I want some xero shoes now for the rest of my footwear needs. Great informative video.
They are life changing shoes. My new fleet consists of the genesis which are my primary after barefoot, then the hfs which make me laugh and cry tears of bliss and joy on my long runs, and the newest addition, the xcursion which came today and I had to force myself to take them off because they were so comfy. Thank you thank you thank you, my life is changed by Xero Shoes.
I bought these based in this commercial and I love the shoes. At first it was weird, I don't go barefoot alot. I wear sneakers in the house, too. But, after about a week of my feet and legs getting used to it and being sore, I cannot go back to regular sneakers. I ended up buying a pair for my wife, as well as their boot version. My feet don't get fatigued, and my balance is better because my feet and legs got stronger from using my feet the way they are meant to be used, without all that "support." Sneakers is like wearing a weight belt everytime you lift weights. If you wear it all the time, your body relies on it, and you get weak in the areas the belt helps you. Eventually, when you do anything without a belt, you hurt yourself. Same with sneakers with tons of support. It make sense.
What Xero says about walking barefoot equals to a 8 week feet strengthening programme is no BS. I tried pogo hops after wearing barefoot sandals for 2 weeks plus. My stamina increased significantly and my legs don’t get sore fast, it was sore but comfortable amount.
I tried a lot of different shoes including minimalist and barefoot shoes. But these shoes by far are my favorite. They are the true game changers. My first pair is the Prio When it’s time for my second pair I think I may go even more lightweight with the HFS.
Doc Martens give me blisters and discomfort when breaking them in but become the most comfortable show I've ever had, gotta recommend tbh, shoes for life.
Imagine not having to break in the shoe. And then something that weighs a fraction of what the Doc Marten's do, that doesn't squeeze your toes, that doesn't change your posture by elevating the heel and, of course, has different styles for other things you do in your day.
Steve’s intricate witty insights into foot dynamics is changing the way the shoe industry does things. Shark Tank totally blew it with him. I didn’t know he was even on the show till recent. The Tarahumara people support what Steve says. Their foot are their shoes quite frankly. But since I’m not that hardcore, I’ll settle for the Xero shoe ☝️😎 11/06/23 440 am est
I have always thought the minimalist shoe thing, was a weird hipster type thing. This was a great, and informative pitch. I will order a pair to try. Thanks!
@@chicken_nuggez I love them. Forgiving enough that i can walk on gravel but close enough to barefoot that they are my favorite walking shoe. They manage to feel cool sms breathable but don't wet my socks just because I walk on wet grass. I'll stick with my guide shoes for running, but these are the only things i walk in. I'll likely pick up their winter boots next.
I just ordered two pairs of Xero's - the Daylights and Prio for men. I've been looking at them for awhile. What sealed the deal was the integrity the couple displayed on shark tank when they didn't bite on the bright shinny thing offered by Kevin O Leary.
This is a fantastic ad! Very informative and best of all, no bullshit! The shoes are more than I've ever paid for a pair of shoes but they may very well be on my christmas list this year! I can't stop typing exclamation points! Is that guy an owner/employee or did he only do the ad? !

Ok first let me say what so many others said. I don't watch ads. AT ALL. But for some reason I watched this one. I'm actually glad I did. My feet hurt every day after working. If tried everything from expensive to cheap with the claim that they would help. So....now I'm intrigued after watching this. Will it work? I'm definitely going to look at your website. Thanks for the video! I'll let you know if I decide to buy a pair.
Hahaha!!! No it doesn’t. This guy is doing nothing but “selling” his product. The claims he made about feet and how “other” shoes harm your feet are laughable. Seriously, I laughed several times throughout this video. Zero drop, flexible shoes cause harm to our feet because our feet need protection. They do not need to work harder. Sorry but if you believe this crap, go ahead and waste your money. Your feet will prove me correct in time.
Actually, my claims come from research demonstrating this simple idea: using your body can allow it to be stronger and function naturally, and interfering with natural movement and sensory feedback causes problems. It's common knowledge that in modern running shoes ~50% of runners and ~80% of marathoners get injured every year. So, shoes aren't doing what people think. Research from Dr. Christine Pollard shows that padded shoes don't reduce impact forces, which can lead to joint injury and disfunction. Harvard's Dr. Irene Davis treats runners by getting them OUT of motion-controlled, padded, heel-elevated shoes and into zero-drop, flexible shoes. Those shoes still provide protection, but let your BODY provide the shock absorption and spring. Harvard's Dr. Daniel Lieberman (and others) have shown that getting OUT of padded shoes helps you put LESS force through your joints because your muscles, ligaments, and tendons, combined with a gait where you don't overstride, provides better "shock absorption" than foam (which quickly breaks down). Research shows that merely walking in a flexible, truly minimalist shoe strengthens your feet as much as doing an actual foot exercise program. Research shows that putting arch support in the shoes of healthy runners results in a decrease in foot muscle size and strength in as little as 12 weeks. Other research shows that squeezing your toes together (the way they do in most shoes) impairs blood flow into your foot... I don't imagine you think that's a good idea. And, of course, if your feet can't FEEL the ground and, therefore, send information that your brain uses to effectively move all of your body, that can lead to instability (among other things)... and, padded, stiff shoes prevent your feet from getting and sending those signals. This reminds me of a customer who was AMAZED at how much he could feel in Xero Shoes while still feeling protected... which was a big deal for him because he is blind (he said it felt like having a whole new sense). If you look at the guidelines given by the American College of Sports Medicine (see ruclips.net/video/C6lFJ6gLI7M/видео.html) they recommend something MUCH closer to Xero Shoes than to standard running shoes (and they've done so even when they receive funding from a BIG shoe company). They say these are the qualities of a good shoe: 1) The #1 function of a running shoe - protection for your foot 2) Too much padding/cushioning can result in GREATER force through your joints 3) Arch support or motion control can cause biomechanical problems 4) Get a wide toe box so your toes can splay 5) Length should be 1/4″-1/2″ longer than your toes (the lower for a truly minimalist shoe) 6) Lighter weight is better 7) A flexible enough sole to help build foot strength I could go on... in short, the research is contrary to what most people believe after 50 years of marketing from big shoe brands. I hope this was helpful.
Xero Shoes Completely agree! When I ran Track and Field I would always end up “scuffing” the bottom/front of my running shoes because my body always felt like my feet were supposed to be closer to the ground than they were. This caused instability and also a few falls here and there. Definitely felt the “stilts” sense that you described in the video. I’m 5”8 175lbs & do a lot of walking and occasionally running + weight lifting during daily life. Any starting Xero shoes you’d recommend?
I'd check out the performance products -- Speed Force, HFS, and Prio. You can see the differences at xeroshoes.com/select/ and then all the shoes at xeroshoes.com/shop/
For the xcursion Fusion I would say probably put in a more wider toe box because in a size 10 my feet are still hitting the sides and my foot is a size 9.5

I wear Jordan 1s, retro 4s, and AF1s and I won’t lie kinda uncomfortable and hard to stand for a long period of time. Plus the presentation was on point I loved it and now I want a pair
Just want to say again I love your shoes and now my mom does too, but are you ever going to come out with wide widths. I had bought my mom some Colorado's and they fit a little tight and it's hard for her to put on the shoes, but she loves them when she gets them on, just a little tight fit on the sides. Just wanted to mention this. I just recently became part of the inner circle and can't wait to see what comes. Thanks for letting me be a part of xero shoes.
@@xeroshoes Thanks for the information and I actually told my mom about that, because the style looks pretty similar in the men's shoe and she said no, so that's why we ended up with what we did and she is thankful for those shoes, because she has fallen a few times lately, but was she wearing the xero shoes, NO! I was like why weren't you and she was like I don't know. Of course I remember the story you told about your father. Of all things the last time she fell, she was wearing the skechers arch fit. That really puts her off balance and she has stenosis too. Honestly, the skechers was because my daughter was working there and she wanted to support her and liked those shoes, but I said then at least if you want a cushioned shoe then the go walk are better because it's more flat. The other thing she admits because she has neuropathy and can't feel her feet, they are pretty numb, is that xero shoes let her know where she is on the floor and can feel where she is walking, so I am like then why wear any other shoes. Even if it's a little struggle to get the xero shoes on, it's better for your balance. Hopefully now she will just wear the xero shoes and then Hopefully won't fall anymore. Thanks for listening to me and I wish you well.

I was first introduced to the barefoot movement 7 or 8 years ago when I purchased a set of Vibram Five Fingers - They were so comfortable that I wore them everywhere! However, after some time I found it difficult to keep them from becoming quite putrid in smell (LOL)...... I let them go some time ago, but had discovered within the last year that my knees were becoming increasingly unhappy with the constant strain from a job & lifestyle that is highly physical, which includes days where they (particularly my right knee) would be inflamed for days, & would retain impressions for many moments after kneeling upon the ground for instance - ouch (I simply figured that for SOME reason I would require a surgery at some point) After a while, I tied the connection to a pair of Keen trail boots when I realized that the symptoms increased after a period of time working in them (thick soles...). Afterward, I began wearing my Van’s to work, and my joints thanked me - my knees have been largely pain free since I switched to minimalist style shoes, but there was still something missing.... I then began to scope out my barefoot options, and finally purchased the Toronto’s several days ago! After wearing them a few times to work & play, I can happily say that the toe box was that missing piece for me - no more straining and curling my toes during those LONG work days, and yes, they are so comfortable - like walking on clouds ;-) I immediately received compliments when I wore them out to eat, as well as at work from different clients (I found it funny that 2 different, unrelated gentlemen compared them to wrestling shoes the first day that I wore them to work hehe) !
Is it really possible to repair fallen arches by strengthening your foot and ankle and by wearing shoes like this? My gait and arches are actually bad at this point.
Arch height is predominantly genetic, but STRENGTH is something you build/maintain by using your body. Research from Dr. Sarah Ridge shows, for example, that merely walking in a truly minimalist shoe builds foot strength as much as doing a foot exercise program.
Wow finally. I went through every comfortable shoe so called. No wonder why I went back to moccasins. I just ordered some of these shoes. I thought I was doing something wrong liking flats..lol
We currently do not provide length or width measurements for our shoes as we have found that 2D measurements do not accurately represent a 3D shoe where the upper can drastically change the fit. Our sizing recommendations are based on customer feedback. These recommendations can be found per style here: bit.ly/xerofit-ni
Kobe did a video about what a basketball shoe SHOULD be... it was low-to-the-ground like the old Chuck Taylors. But the big shoe companies keep making them higher and more unstable instead.

Different shoes have different degrees of protection (e.g. our "most barefoot" Speed Force, vs. the technical hiker, Xcursion Fusion). We're looking into products that can add more protection for our hiking shoes and boots, but still be flexible enough to allow for natural movement.

That's great to hear! We are glad that you and your grandparents are enjoying your shoes.

Long story, but I bought the Xero HFS shoes as I was dealing with some ongoing foot issues and dealing with a related foot injury. A family member had recommended these and I remembered the ad. :)
It took some time getting used to them.
@@peacekeeperz81 Agreed 😁

I can honestly attest to what this man is saying, these shoes really are comfortable and game changing. Having extra wide feet makes shoe shopping challenging and I always ended up buying painful shoes. I no longer hurt after purchasing xero shoes. My feet get he support they need to go for 3 mile walks.
Yea me and my dad have overly average fat feet too. I can't wait to get my pair. I hope my dad likes too
I remember seeing this ad/video years ago and not being able to buy shoes from this company - I’m so glad they are still around and I can buy some now
Love my Xero Trail running shoes.
Very kind of you to say.
-Steven
Haha, same here!!
My same experience.
I always skip ads but I was drawn into this and found it informative.
You have a smooth soothing voice. I always watch your ads all the way thru. I've told my dad about you bc he has feet problems and hard time finding supportive shoes. I'm going to buy him and myself a pair. The science behind them and the easy explanation just makes sense to me.
I love listening to him. He has a very persuasive and attention getting way about him. He has a semi ASMR vibe.
Your voice is so friendly. I feel like you're my friend already.
Great shoes 👍 saved me from back pain and leg pain. I can run now 🙏
I used to have pain in my feet so bad it would keep me up at night.

Im sure Xero shoes would be beneficial but treat the core issue first.

P.S. - my first purchase was the Mesa Trail.
Thanks SO much for the kind words and for sharing your story, Rick. Keep us posted and Live Life Feet First!

Favorite comment.
I like this guy, he’s very will balance, knowledgeable, family oriented, funny and hippyish. I wish the best for you guy.
This could be a TED Talks on its own. 🙌
Thank you so much for submitting an entry to our giveaway!! We are so excited to review!♥️

I have been wearing barefoot shoes for a year now and I’m so happy because I’m a West Indian and I was always barefoot at home. Love xero shoes ❤

Ever wonder how far you could run if your feet didn't hurt?
Thanks to Xero Shoes, I am starting to answer that question for myself.
You ever tried a pair of ultra boosts?
@@JC-rp6sp I dunno what those are
@@neonknight5857 you should go to an adidas store and try on a pair of ultra boosts, then come talk to me about how far I could run if my feet didn’t hurt.
I love these shoes. After 4 months of my first purchase, I ended up buying 11 more pairs. All for different occasions
That's awesome! We are glad that you love them.
Love the product and the pitch. I’ll be heading over to the website shortly.
How did they turn out?
Yes, I second the wearing these shoes to bed thing. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've owned so far! No friggin' joke.

I love my zero shoes!! I haven’t looked back!!
We NEVER get tired of wonderful stories like yours... and happily, we hear them every day :-)
You had me at wide toe box!
You had me at "You had me" ;-)
Hey I thought you had a wife!
Just got my first pair today. Love them. ☺️ Gracias
My feet don't get fatigued, and my balance is better because my feet and legs got stronger from using my feet the way they are meant to be used, without all that "support."
Sneakers is like wearing a weight belt everytime you lift weights. If you wear it all the time, your body relies on it, and you get weak in the areas the belt helps you. Eventually, when you do anything without a belt, you hurt yourself. Same with sneakers with tons of support. It make sense.
This makes our hearts swoon.
Now the next step is going barefoot and only wearing these when you’re forced to.
My first pair is the Prio
When it’s time for my second pair I think I may go even more lightweight with the HFS.
Sir. You amazing, now I want to try your product.
It's going in 3 years with my xeros I've ran marathons and ultras in them. They are amazing shoes thank yall 🙏 #lifechanging
That's awesome! We're glad that you like them.
Best shoes for running barefoot 🦶🏼
I went one size up.

This makes so much sense!!
They say these are the qualities of a good shoe:
1) The #1 function of a running shoe - protection for your foot
2) Too much padding/cushioning can result in GREATER force through your joints
3) Arch support or motion control can cause biomechanical problems
4) Get a wide toe box so your toes can splay
5) Length should be 1/4″-1/2″ longer than your toes (the lower for a truly minimalist shoe)
6) Lighter weight is better
7) A flexible enough sole to help build foot strength
I could go on... in short, the research is contrary to what most people believe after 50 years of marketing from big shoe brands.
I definitely need to get a pair of these shoes
You and everyone else that wants natural comfort :-)
For the xcursion Fusion I would say probably put in a more wider toe box because in a size 10 my feet are still hitting the sides and my foot is a size 9.5
Please submit that feedback at xeroshoes.com/feedback. Thanks.

You do not have a moment. You're creating a movement.
Our shoes are wider than most. For women with wider feet, we recommend trying the "men's" versions.

We offer a variety of water resistant and waterproof models. Take a look at the Xcursion Fusion hiking boot: xeroshoes.com/shop/boots/xcursion-men/ and the Alpine snow boot: xeroshoes.com/shop/boots/alpine-men/
I was first introduced to the barefoot movement 7 or 8 years ago when I purchased a set of Vibram Five Fingers - They were so comfortable that I wore them everywhere! However, after some time I found it difficult to keep them from becoming quite putrid in smell (LOL)......
I let them go some time ago, but had discovered within the last year that my knees were becoming increasingly unhappy with the constant strain from a job & lifestyle that is highly physical, which includes days where they (particularly my right knee) would be inflamed for days, & would retain impressions for many moments after kneeling upon the ground for instance - ouch (I simply figured that for SOME reason I would require a surgery at some point)
After a while, I tied the connection to a pair of Keen trail boots when I realized that the symptoms increased after a period of time working in them (thick soles...).
Afterward, I began wearing my Van’s to work, and my joints thanked me - my knees have been largely pain free since I switched to minimalist style shoes, but there was still something missing....
I then began to scope out my barefoot options, and finally purchased the Toronto’s several days ago! After wearing them a few times to work & play, I can happily say that the toe box was that missing piece for me - no more straining and curling my toes during those LONG work days, and yes, they are so comfortable - like walking on clouds ;-)
I immediately received compliments when I wore them out to eat, as well as at work from different clients (I found it funny that 2 different, unrelated gentlemen compared them to wrestling shoes the first day that I wore them to work hehe) !
We are so thrilled that you love the Toronto! We also kinda love the wrestling shoe comparison ;)
Xero Shoes, 👏🏼😌💙
I bloody love my hfs and will love my z treks soon when I finally get somewhere nice and warm to live
Cool. Love your approach. Heard your pod recently, just ordered some minimalist shoes.
Wow finally. I went through every comfortable shoe so called. No wonder why I went back to moccasins. I just ordered some of these shoes. I thought I was doing something wrong liking flats..lol
Please do include centimetres in your site chart
We currently do not provide length or width measurements for our shoes as we have found that 2D measurements do not accurately represent a 3D shoe where the upper can drastically change the fit. when you talked about zion that really hit me. im a basketball player and my knees feel unstable because of my massive shoes dude
Kobe did a video about what a basketball shoe SHOULD be... it was low-to-the-ground like the old Chuck Taylors. But the big shoe companies keep making them higher and more unstable instead.
I wonder if I should sleep on a Tempur-pedic at night. Or maybe not? Because that would make my back weak?
Resting is a whole different thing. BUT, if you stay on your bed too long, you DO get weaker (this is what happens to patients in hospitals)
OK so what are diabetics with flat-foot and neuropathy suppose to do
