because its one of many "by the book" design ideas that mainstream movies/shows follow, that has no real thought put behind it (hence why they follow a book of rules to tell a story), therefore its screaming at you that this is garbage and you are being manipulated... creating a feeling of hatred towards it because you realised it and couldn't put it into words. This sort of stuff works on most people and they dont even realise they are being manipulated into a story that fits whatever they want to warp your mind into thinking. TL;DR because its marketing manipulation to reach the medium audience they want. They probably have a set of rules to follow to create stories because they work enough to grab dat cash. This is not art, this is a business.
