the butchered the books beyond recognition for foundation. i knew it was always going to be a hard book to turn into a show, esp these days but that thing is horrific c/t the books. i think maybe it was fine as a stand alone if it had a different name.
My biggest problem with Silo is perhaps using the wrong cast. I read the books and while it was interesting to see it finally come to tv there was something that felt entirely off about it.

I prefer Silo over Invasion. Constraint space and pressure are more intense than open area conflict.

“Invasion” there is a reason this show only have 6.2 on IMDB. I watch it because i am addicted to Sci-Fi, but the acting in that show is not the best.
“Extrapolations” is actually better than the 6.1 rating it has on IMDB.

Apple does have the best sci fi shows but the list here is in reverse order of the best shows.
Even though I am a Sci-Fi aficionado I confess that with the exception of the first season of “Invasion” and “Shining Girls”, I tried but was unable to watch “See”, “Silo”, “For all Mankind” (btw, did I really hear the word “diversity”? )” and “Severance”. But I'm going to try watching “Foundation” again and I'm going to give “Monarch” a chance. And, thank you, I plan to watch “Ptolemy Grey” and “Doctor Brain”, who were off my radar ;)

I agree with your picks but not the order of them. Foundation should not be number 10. I would put Invasion at 10 because it is two episodes stretch into eight; too slow for me and almost boring. Foundation should be in the top five with Silo. See was also good. But I must include, I have not seen all your picks (1) and some did not pick my interest to continue watching ( fell asleep). I will give them another try. Samuel Jackson series did not watch; but, I will now. Thank you

Not what I was expecting at all. Halfway through season one I started skimming episodes through season 2 and stopped watching the show. It's like the West Wing.
Really good if you are in the mood for HEAVY human drama.
Overall it's not living up to "the best scifi show on TV" at all.

for all mankind is OVER HYPED. after 2nd season they didn't know what to do. they did leave breadcrumbs but they didn't know where to take from there so make many things up that didn't add up
