Exterior styling updates are more evolutionary than revolutionary, with the 2025 Ram 1500 featuring a sleeker appearance with a larger grille that leans forward for a bolder stance. Each trim level gets a distinctive grille, and all feature stylish LED headlights.
Style is important, but capability and performance are often the deciding factors when purchasing a new truck. For the first time in 20 years, the Ram 1500 will not offer a Hemi V8. In its place is a new family of 3.0-liter, turbocharged, straight six engines that deliver more power with expected better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. Two versions of the engine are offered at launch, including a high-output variant with 540 horsepower. The base engine is still a 3.6-liter V6. The new Ram 1500 will tow up to 11,580 pounds and haul up to 2,300 pounds.
The Ram truck has always boasted one of the nicer interiors among full-size pickup trucks, and that reputation is further enhanced with the 2025 model. The new top-of-the-line Tungsten trim is the most luxurious truck Ram has ever offered, outfitted with dual-textured metal accents, quilted alternative leather trim, a 14.5-inch infotainment display, and a 10.25-inch front passenger screen.
The full-size pickup truck market is dominated by the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which are currently the two best selling vehicles in the U.S., as well as the Ram 1500 which slots in at number three. The GMC Sierra 1500 (twin to the Silverado) and Toyota Tundra don't sell at the same level as the top three trucks, but still have a lot to offer. The updates for the 2025 model year should help the Ram maintain its position near the top of the class.

I paid 80k for my TRX with a Hellcat engine just 2 years ago. Now they want us to pay the same amount for a Rebel with a V6? Lmao ok. Who the hell is paying these prices???
