I am so grateful MIT opens up a great course like this to the public. I hope to see more courses from this great institution, and hopefully other educational institutions do the same, and more!
Thank you so much for posting this series of MIT classes for free! For people working in banking technology without finance background, this class is of tremendous help!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn and develop our skills and understating of these tremendously useful subjects that we wouldn’t have had a chance to know about otherwise. Thank you Prof. Gensler and MIT.
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️ from germany, i really enjoy all these playlists on financial issues please keep giving us great stuff... by the way i love wüthe way american lecturers present knowledge, it is really not at all prosaic
It will be a gradual change. Eventually, yes, a lot of things will disappear. But it will take time, and they’ll hold on and struggle and fight as long as they can.
Generally speaking clouds internal overclock is ticking at a lessened speed than on a blockchain, which doesnt just involve just memory strictures but also processing power enough to make all moves possible. Basically aws would cost 3-100x or even more if it were using purely uncentralized and unoptimized blockchain approaches.
@@mitocw He mentions about two courses. Blockchain and Money that you mentioned, i have already taken that. He talks about Crypto Finance class "that starts in 30 minutes" - i believe it was offered in parallel with this course. Please let me know :)
We only have two course on MIT OpenCourseWare by him. There might be another course (or courses) at MIT that we don't have. MIT OCW doesn't have every course that is taught at MIT. Here's what we do have on this topic: ocw.mit.edu/courses/find-by-topic/#cat=business&subcat=finance. We hope this helps.
No, it's not about fish bioengineering. (19:29) 26:55 No mention of joint-stock companies in this visual? So I don't know if it's the professor or the online format, but this lecture is prone to wild tangents.
The only thing I know is that Prof. Gensler is going to be the Deputy Treasury Secretary of Biden Administration. www.cnbc.com/2020/11/25/joe-biden-considers-roger-ferguson-to-lead-nec-gary-gensler-deputy-treasury-secretary.html
Your comment is nice and interesting and hope you are keeping safe This is the advice anyone would give you now with all that have happened this year. I must say crypto asset are slowly taking over the financial market, just few days ago PayPal bought into the Bitcoin sphere and there’s 1% bullish trend . My singular regret is I didn’t start crypto trading early, I tried myself before and I lost thousands of dollars . I’m learning now and I can’t say I’m an expert yet , I’m getting better but the best thing I ever did for myself was to invest with a professional, she was licensed by the United state department of treasury, so I had to trust her and that was the best decision I ever made. Amanda made my life more meaningful, with my profits, I just got a new home in Washington. Investir em Bitcoin será a coisa mais sensata a se fazer em 2020, especialmente no ritmo atual.

Better late then never

Very true. When I started trading cryptocurrencies, I wasn't sure what I was doing until I started trading professionally.
I am glad that no one has yet put comments like "first" and such bullshit
Investing in Bitcoin will be the wisest thing to do in 2020, especially at the current rate.
Why you say that?
Thank you
