Great review video, I purchased the 2021 Armada SL, and it has all the safety features that I need. I currently have 27,000 trouble free miles on this vehicle along with towing a boat, it is the perfect SUV for my needs. I would like to add that the ride is very smooth and stable, and that the endurance V8 engine is one of the best engines ever made. Along with the 7 speed transmission, it has great pick-up speed and very smooth shifting. But the main reason I chose this vehicle over any other SUV is that it is made in Japan along with its twin sister the Nissan Patrol. I am very confident that this vehicle will last well over 200,000 miles without much trouble. For me, it was the best vehicle for the best price.
brother i’m right there with you! i got the 22 SL last yr and it’s easily the best vehicle i’ve ever owned. recently went on a 6 1/2 hr trip and this thing ensured that i wouldn’t encounter road fatigue. also went camping and this thing easily swallowed everything my fiancée could throw at it and still had more space. it’s a great alternative for folks looking for the Land Cruiser but can’t afford one. what color is yours btw?
@@JokerG16 Hi Joker, we just got back from a round trip 2000 mile journey to upstate New York, Quebec Canada and Bar Harbor Maine, and this SUV just performed flawlessly. Up the mountains and with bumpy side roads, it really handled like a Lincoln Navigator. The seats are so comfortable. And, to our surprise, we were averaging 21.4 miles per gallon on the highway traveling 75mph. Like I said in the review, the transmission and engine work seamlessly together. We have over 30,000 miles and the engine is barely broken in. I will definitely keep this vehicle for a very long time. I got the White Armada SL and to me it looks very sharp and I keep it very clean. Good luck.
I love my old 2010 Armada Platnum even though the dash is old school buttons and knobs. Can't afford a new one right now with these interest rates but I would buy one in a second. Thats a 200,000 mile+ engine under the hood. 180k on my Titan (same engine) and still going strong.
We’re moving to a family of 5 this year. Need the third row. Armada looks to be very natural step up from a Gx460. Both “trucks”, v8, 4wd, made in Japan. Armada is better price than comparables, sequoia, LX, Land Cruiser, Tahoe/yukon and newer gx460. Will very likely be choosing between Armada and Pathfinder. Pathfinder has second row slide and car seat tilt
Good review on this vehicle. Your content and narrative along with the editing made it flow nicely. Great job with a great vehicle. Actually, I just got out of a Jeep Gladiator and leased a Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. I love cars and usually lease a new car every 3 years (I usually only make it 2 years before trading it). New subscriber.
With 2nd row captain's chairs, there is a removable 2nd row console on the Armada SL and Platinum trims. While some feel this is outdated, that's fine. I find that they were not meant for this vehicle, and that is ok. Feature wise, the V8 and other assessories make this vehicle well worth it. Toyota is having problems with their SUV's. Armada is tried and true.
We bought the midnight edition version, it looked great but just didn’t meet our needs so we traded it in for a 23 Suburban RST that we like much better.
I don’t understand people who call this car outdated. It has all the best safety features and all the latest infotainment. Maybe it’s just me as an engineer favoring function over form. Great SUV and as others mentioned, I experienced almost no fatigue on a 14H road trip with a rental Armada.
This is one of the best car videos ever. This car, of course, is expensive to buy, supported around 2005. But of course the fuel consumption is just huge.

@@JokerG16 Just drove 6 1/2 hours. The fatigue factor was null and void. The confort made the miles disappear. And my Armada is a 2012 Platinum
@@cldans804 yeah these things swallow the miles and road imperfections. you've got a solid tank man! those 1st gens are true workhorses.

A classic for sure
It’s honestly hard to look at the SUV while you’re on the screen. Wow!
You made my day. 🥰
@@realmomcartours I agree!! Your really pretty!!
Great review. Could not concentrate first few times!! Can you review the new gorgeous 2025 armada?
i'll be doing that in December. Check back in!

What did you end up going with?
Yup, just bought one today.
Congrats! What color did you get?

Thanks. I did not know the center console is removable

Understandable. How does the MPG compare between the two?!

Any news yet on the 2025 Armada new design?
I haven’t heard anything yet. But with the new Infiniti revealed - it can’t be far behind.

You very beautiful woman ❤😘
So they made the Armada look like the Nissan Patrol. Lazy design team. But let wait and see the new Patrol how it will look like. Very eager to know.

I tend to agree - yet here I am in my daily driver with wired CarPlay. ☠️

I so want to spend a lot of time with you and this car. Too bad you didn't test drive it.
I had it for a week and put it through full mom mode. You can see more of those shorts on Tiktok or IG. :)
