I am from may pen paisley to be exact love that town, don't know about now but back in the days may pen was one of the happiest place in Jamaica miss those days.

So so grateful for such a valuable tour. I haven't been back since 2010. Place seem to developing . I do love my town amidst all the violence. Will definitely be back for Christmas tho. Respect

I lived there as a missionary for that church nearly 20 years ago. Stayed in Midland Glades.

May Pen a nuh play pen. Thanks for this video, it made my day. I found it when my student wanted to see a glimpse of my country so I typed May Pen into youtube and this came up, They absolutely enjoyed it! It makes me so nostalgic because it has been the first year that I didn't get to come home due to CV19 but seeing this video uplifts my spirit. Absolutely love it!

Thank for sharing this Vedic of my home town.Bring back lots of good memories growing up in may pen in the good old days.we were the first children to go to May Pen Secondary school it was then call May Pen Senior school I leave in 1967.Those were the best time of our life growing up in May Pen.l lived in London now for a long time but always go back to my town.

I went to Central High School. At the time, it was called May Pen Secondary. The principal at that time, (89) was Mr. L.P. McKenzie.

Big up May Pen! I'm from New Longvivile, which is about 5 miles from there but growing up, I've visited the town religiously, as I attended MayPen Secondary School, which is now Central High School.
That my SCHOOL BACK IN 1989 TO 1993 IT NAME WAS MAY PEN SECONDARY SCHOOL

RUSH....our town is indeed beautiful ........I'm a past student of the Central High School (Jamaica)... lol. Class of 2003. So proud to be a Centralite... water commission as usual doing what they does best, digging up roads n leave them unfixed....I saw in ur video what they've done to sevens road. The May Pen police stations holds the title as the largest in Jamaica when it opened in 2006. Don't know if it still holds that title now due to newer stations built recently. It's also the HQ for the Clarendon Police Division.

Never been on Sevens road Rush so thanks for the tour. I had a former teacher colleague when I was a practising teacher who used to work at the primary school .
Went to Central when it was May Pen Secondary. 74-79 back in the day.!!

May Pen needs a remake; not major, but painting, decent sidewalks, removing the burglar bars from the outside to the inside, tree planting, rehab the market (move it from the centre of town), etc, etc

Thanks for the tour!! The last time I visited May Pen was 2002. Even then I didn't pay that much attention as I was there to shop for my return to Chicago. It would have been nice to see some of the shops in this video but it is very much appreciated. Is Super Plus still there??
No ...super plus is gone. Shopped at that shopper's fair last year for things to bring back.

There must be other facilities on the police station building. I can't imagine a police station needing that much space.I didn't know May Pen was so nice. Seen videos of it before, but they made the place look so run down and poor
