Thanks for documenting the mighty P6 🙏🏼 Definitely something worth saving. I’m betting it’s a 302 Clevo, C4 and 8 inch diff. I had a Silver Monarch with all the right gear and by far one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever owned 🙏🏽
FYI the last of the P6s in 1979 came from factory with Borg Warner LSDs, not the 9 inch. These were then carried over into the FC LTDs. Some people mistakingly think these 79 P6s had their LSDs swapped out, not knowing that's actually how they came.
I'd say just by the intake manifold its a 302 as all the 351's I've had are all 4 barrels.I do have one of these LTD's in the shed.It has a winged sump, never seen one before 'cept on GT's.Its a white car with a light blue vinyal top and interior.I bought it from a farmer in Tamworth who got it new. That was 30 years ago.She needs recomissioning to be put back on the road.
In our ZG Fairlane the boot release was a lever beside the driver's seat operating a cable release. Same as the '77 Marquis I had. In the XD Fairmont Ghia this was a button operating a solenoid. Not sure if the RR P6 has a cable or button.
hi U could restore the car to an original condition [preferred ]with a few more of the luxury/mechanical options or u could be be a total t..sser and fit 500cuin then do burn outs all day which means u have to beat on it fairly hard and destroy all the original character .

@Amplass 333 That’s right but someone’s swapped the original block out of that one and I’m guessing they did that to get the 51.

Put a barra motor in for something different.

"bodywork needs a little going over" great. glass always half full!
I would rather have a full-size Ford Lincoln and Mercury than the popular midsize muscle cars
Shocking Audio why have the music so loud!
Stick with me, I'm working on my editing skills. Thanks for the feedback 👍

If you're not going to preserve it, then don't take it. Leave for someone else to enjoy.
