This video is very inspiring very reassuring when you said you never had to question about your decision once you stepped into Islam. You took an amazing choice sister! Well I'm also a girl learning about Islam I was so curious since a kid when the women wore hijab it was just different and unique but I'm glad I'm finally learning it. I am now 14 and I hope I can make the right choice after I completely learn about it. Thank you so much for this video sister! It helped a lot

Please read the Quran in your native language before you convert to Islam.
@@amariinoue2752what did you mean by learn in your native language before converting? Why?
@@amariinoue2752I was told we should learn it in Arabic first then translate it to your native tongue. I read the English Quran but have been learning to practice the prayers in Arabic now because it just feels more correct its hard to keep up but I say it as best as possible and read the English meaning while doing it at the same time. Maybe I'm just making it more confusing and difficult but I'm just determined to learn Arabic so I can read the true Quran the way Allah sent the message not man's dictations of it.
I do not advise you to accept this religion full of discrimination against women

Righteousness in islam are to kill non-islam men, keep their ladies as sex-slaves (as reproductive machines and object for satisfy sexual urges at any given time, even strictly same for islam women also), robe others (non-islam) wealth and spreading lies(taqqiya) about God & everything (I’m an ex-muslim)...

Thank you Sister this was so beautiful and helpful I have been studying how to do the(my) prayers correctly,and your video onl How to pray video popped up as well so thank you cause I've already learned so much from your videos. So thank Sis cause I definitely feel more empowered that I have stepped towards Islam and I definitely want to be closer to Allah and do what he asks of us and I too have been back and forth with Hijab I want to own one so I just cover my hair with Turbans or headwraps at times but I sweat so much so I end up taking things off my head all the time including hats lol so that's the main reason I haven't worn yet and I don't have one yet can't afford one right now.Plus I want to take my Shahadas again at a Mosque this time and I feel now that I have been studying and reading my Quran more I'm ready for the full life of Islam. Living in NYC is also so hard with the judgement especially after stupid 911 that has nothing to do with us Muslims around the world we're judged from that unfortunately and I always stood for them (I say them because back then I wasn't one yet I just became last yr I believe it was my son and I took our Shahadas with 2 brothers on the sidewalk and it felt amazing but I want to do it the traditional way in a Mosque and invite my loved ones) because my Step Dad at the was already and I felt so scared and bad for him because he had to work down there to help save lives and I use to wonder if he could even say he was Muslim anymore and I had stopped mentioning it as well because of it. We are still targets here in NYC I recently back in December 2023 the ending right after Christmas I saw a Sister Teenager on her pray rug(her mom was right there too but watching their belongs ) in a large station Amtrak Station the one across the street from Penn Station/Madison Square Garden and security came and stood right by her and watched her the entire time I was going to say something like leave her alone but I didn't want to interrupt her pray or have security harass her and her family anymore or make me and the children leave it was freezing plus raining outside. But I did watch over her to make sure she didn't stop her or talk to her. Because I'm an Activist first and just became a Muslim so I will never allow someone to do that. But I really wanted to say something but was more concerned about everyone's safety and well being cause it could have turned totally left if you know what I mean. Thanks again Sister for your insight and knowledge it is greatly appreciated.

Wow I really like this your way how you see things and how you can inspire, after tragic event you found your way, your truth and happiness, actually I am completely new revert to Islam....my life was traumatic since I was born unfortunately, but I did 11 months of volunteering in Turkey met lot of Muslim friends amazing people, started learning and I wanted to know more, amazed by mosques and seeing people praying inside, and later I also had this inner voice saying me to accept my new way of life, but it took me almost a year to think and understand and make sure I believe and I am ready to accept Islam, so now it's just 2 months ago 😊

I love your energy and your smile im so happy hearing you as a born muslim you made my day. Your sense of awareness is wonderful.
I do need your advice. I know a young 23 year old English agnostic guy who approached me with questions. Most of his questions were harsh and shocking. He is very stubborn and when I send him videos to correct his misconceptions he doesn’t watch them. If I explain something he thinks im lying. There is just so much hate towards muslims inside him. He says he met many bad muslims and he thinks their attitude is horrible and violent. I don’t know if thats true. But i really would love to have your advice how to handle this situation and how to guide him. Thank you!
