Excellent review. I am shocked that I am considering a $440 boot. I tried these on for fit at Cabela's and they are the best fitting boot of all I considered. They hug my heel better and ankle support is very good yet still enough flexibility to make rocky inclines comfortable. They fit better than Crispi Nevada and a lot better than Kenetrek.

Yes they are treated and waterproof as long as water is below ankles
